Today at the gym PEOPLE PUT WEIGHTS BACK WHERE THEY BELONG!!! Also there were no 130 lb dumbbells in the 10 lb spots. Earlier I was at the gym I train at working out, and a man stopped me. He asked me why I was working out since I am already so small. It took me back a second. My quick answer was that I'm one of the top runners at my college and I would like to stay that way, and I'm a personal trainer here. But the truth is, there is so much more to it than that. Take both of those facts away, and I would still be working out. Working out (especially if you are a woman) does not mean you are trying to lose weight. Everyone in every walk of life has a reason to do strength training. Exercise is NOT just a treatment for being overweight. It is essential for overall health and well being. It is a way to achieve so many different goals, many of which have very little to do with what size we are. Mon 24 July ... forced myself to go to the gym this evening. I've signed up for 3 months as I want to up my #HITT workouts. Tonight was 1*1 intervals on the bike. 1 min hard out 1 min rest repeat 10 times. Building up to shorter rest periods. Im glad I went! I'm also branching out from just wearing #lululemon . Fri 24th Feb.... today we start with 'The Worm.' From a standing position keeping legs straight walk your hands out till you get to an extended plank position. From there walk your legs towards your hands as far as you can go keeping your legs straight. I still have a way to go to get that really tight V position but definitely getting more flexible! Do 4 sets of 8 reps. It's a really great exercise to stretch your hamstrings and it works chest shoulders and abs. ๐Ÿ“ทby @teambodylean #fitnessgoal #fitness #todayatthegym #wellingtonnz

Try 4 sets with 3-6 reps... alternate with dumbbell press 12kg for 12 reps #todayatthegym #fitness #fitin2017 #fitnessgoal #wellingtonnz
