Dedication is ๐Ÿ”‘. Top left was 2 months into my fitness journey. My bff @fitnessteddy0310 put me on a high protein/low carbs meal plan. Trained with her for 3 months..2-3 times/wk and lift heavy weights. Wish I had a b4 picture ๐Ÿ˜•After that picture was taken, I stop going to the gym and ate like shit. My excuse was...I got too busy with life๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™ve always wanted to stay active, but I hated waking up early just for the gym. I was not self motivated. Top right pic was the outcome of that. Iโ€™ve learned very quickly that itโ€™s all mindset. Yes, I have beasties to workout with who truly motivates me, but I have to be self motivated and self discipline. Bottom pic was taken yesterday....Iโ€™m not on any special meal plan but I do seek out food that are high in protein and yes I eat carbs everyday and โ€œhealthyโ€ fats ๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™m sure if I was eating clean I would get quicker results but Iโ€™m content right now. I want to be able to enjoy my food. I just want to live a healthy lifestyle but also having fun on my journey. I donโ€™t want to have to stress about what Iโ€™m eating for the week. I just have to work out harder in the gym and lift heavier ๐Ÿ˜‚. Everyoneโ€™s on a different journey and have different goals...you have to find whatโ€™s working for you and stay committed and MAKE time. It's TUESDAY which means it's time for another TRANSFORMATION POST! Left: 2014 โžก๏ธ Right: 2018 . 4 years apart. Same person, same personality, same lifestyle. The change? A different MINDSET + BETTER & SMARTER choices ๐Ÿ’› . I'm eating way more now and training in a style that I love (weightlifting ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ). I choose not to restrict myself ever and fully enjoy all types of food without guilt. I don't plan a "cheat day" and just eat whatever I feel like at the time, which makes this lifestyle way more sustainable for me. I don't force myself to eat or do things I don't like OR cut things that I love! Cause guess what? I still party!! ๐ŸŽ‰ I've always enjoyed going out and I know the party lifestyle and healthy living doesn't really go hand in hand, but what if I told you that you don't have to completely cut it out of your life to be 'healthy'? ๐Ÿค” . To clarify, I personally party to have a good time with my friends, not for the sake of drinking excessively, passing out or doing things that can harm myself and other people. None of that has ever happened to me, and sometimes I don't even drink, I'm just there to dance ๐Ÿ’ƒ . When it comes to going out, just make SMARTER choices. Be aware and mindful with WHAT types of drinks you put in your body, HOW MUCH, and HOW OFTEN ๐Ÿธ Don't be reckless with alcohol and go blacking out every few days ๐Ÿ’€ Know your limits and control yourself โ˜๏ธ . A realizaรงรฃo do movimento em um exercรญcio com amplitude mรกxima (dentro da sua capacidade) รฉ algo que deve ser sempre considerado, a nรฃo ser que a pessoa tenha alguma limitaรงรฃo fรญsica ou lesรฃo (que de qualquer forma, devem ser corrigidas para que assim que possรญvel, volte a se trabalhar com a mรกxima amplitude). Quanto maior a amplitude utilizada, maior o deslocamento realizado e, consequentemente, maior o trabalho e sobrecarga gerado no mรบsculo. Alรฉm disso, permite atingir maior nรบmero de fibras musculares, em comparaรงรฃo com amplitudes mais limitadas. Usar a amplitude mรกxima tambรฉm รฉ uma รณtima forma de manter a consistรชncia ao longo do tempo no treinamento, mantendo um controle mais preciso da performance. Afinal, se vocรช aumenta a carga mas reduz a amplitude, serรก que houve realmente progressรฃo? Reflita... Muitas pessoas nรฃo utilizam amplitude mรกxima sem qualquer motivo concreto para isso. Talvez uma das razรตes seja o medo da possibilidade de lesรฃo, que acaba sendo sem fundamento, pois quando se executa o movimento com a tรฉcnica correta, e se usa a amplitude mรกxima para a sua capacidade, esse risco รฉ minimizado. Mas com certeza a maior razรฃo provavelmente รฉ o ego: ao realizar o movimento com mรกxima amplitude, a carga a ser utilizada acaba sendo bastante reduzida, e quando a pessoa nรฃo tem consciรชncia do que realmente importa e de como tudo funciona, acaba preferindo usar cargas mais elevadas ร s custas de uma amplitude mais limitada. Porรฉm, realizar tal prรกtica acaba justamente aumentando o risco de lesรฃo, pois grande parte do "excesso de carga" (compensado pela menor amplitude), que estรก alรฉm da sua capacidade fรญsica, sobrecarrega nรฃo sรณ os mรบsculos, mas as articulaรงรตes e tendรตes relacionados. Portanto, sempre que possรญvel, use a maior amplitude para o movimento, com a tรฉcnica correta. Se tiver alguma limitaรงรฃo de mobilidade, trabalhe para corrigi-la. E lembre-se sempre que a carga importa em relaรงรฃo ร  intensidade do esforรงo, nรฃo ao valor absoluto (veja posts anteriores). Se vocรช usar uma carga menor, porรฉm com amplitude mรกxima e gerar sobrecarga progressiva ao longo do tempo, os ganhos desejados virรฃo de forma consistente e com menor risco de lesรตes!
