I feel like we are working again. Its shoulder and biceps today 🤗. 1️⃣ Dumbbell shoulder press 2️⃣ Rear delt flys After my heavy press I hit the rear delt. I do this because its my weakest point of the shoulder. So feel free the order and hit your weakest part first. 3️⃣ Seated side lateral raises Lateral raises is a movement that I see a lot of ego. Don't get to crazy on weight here. 2nd tip is at the top of the movement, try to keep the back of your hand (pinky side) high. This will keep more presure on the side delt. 4️⃣ Machine shoulder press My front delt has always been a overpowering. I usually don't even train front delts. Today I added this press just to get a good overall pump in the delt. 5️⃣ Barbell curls You can't beat the basics. With any curl, keep your elbows close to your side. When curling the weight, try to keep the presure on the pinky side of your palm. This will give you a tighter squeeze on the biceps 6️⃣ single arm preacher curls Same concept as the barbell curl. The "Something is better than Nothing" Approach that helps me reach my goals ⌚ • • I literally use this phrase all the time!!! This approach is SO important and I want to explain why. I use to be an "All or Nothing" type of gal and that approach led me almost nowhere. When I use to have an all or nothing mind-set I either was all in or all out. When I first started up with all my fitness goals, alot of my days were filled with eating healthy, working out, and cardio. If I had one day where I didn't have time for a work out, I wouldn't do the cardio or eat healthy either. I did absolutely nothing and felt as though I had zero consistency & then felt SO bad about it. All or nothing approach fails you every single time • • So, I started to figure out a way to overcome this inconsistent approach, which then started my "Something is Better than Nothing". This approach allows you to create consistency in your life, while accepting the fact, that, some days you may not be able to do everything you need. For example: your goal may be to workout. 5X a week and do 10 minutes of cardio afterwards + eat healthy. Any given day, something may come up and may not allow for you to get in your workout. So, make time for the cardio & eating healthy 🍎 This allows you to create consistency and form the habits in life you need to succeed. Consistency builds the small habits, which leads to your goals being accomplished. So, remember minutes of exercise, is better than none at all 💪🏼
