Joints and tendons still felt a bit sore after the 495 Monday so took it a bit easier today than i would have liked to Raw bench sets: 350x2 360x2 370x2 380x2 390x2 405x2 (Top set) Forgot to do slingshot work 😓 Chain bench: 300+85lb of chain x 4 (Top set)(PR) 295+85lb of chain x 3 for 3 sets 275+85lb of chain x 3 for 5 sets Today felt excellent 😈

Floor press. • We love the floor press at @conditioningctr as an assistance movement to a big bench press as it really helps you overload your lockout if that is an area of weakness. • It is also a great way of doing some heavy pressing with large groups or with minimal equipment as all you need is a buddy to help load you up. 🔹Train smart! (🇹🇷:Türkçe aşağıda) I know I took a long break from insta, but it was needed. I didn't want to think about fitness. I am still working on my shoulder injury 3 times a week and time will tell if it helps or not. Unfortunately during the last couple of weeks I injured my biceps/forearm tendon. Now I also have to deal with this.. I immediately stopped working my biceps and back, icing it 3 times a day. I'll try training my back next week with light weights and do exercises that don't hurt...... ➡️I am not forcing myself in the gym anymore, it is definitely not worth it. I am trying to strengthen my body to not get injured anymore. Concentrating more on muscle contraction and not the weight anymore. Using lighter weights and making it harder for the muscle by extending time under tension. Train smart, avoid injuries! _______________________________________ 💪 ________ 🇹🇷 Akıllı antrenman yapın! #flashbackfriday to my 1st show ☺️ I get asked pretty often what my husband thinks of me competing and getting on stage in basically nothing but a tiny bikini in front of a huge audience. ⠀ My answer is this- he is nothing short of amazing. He’s my biggest fan and more supportive than I could ever imagine. During prep, he takes my weekly progress photos & measurements, helps me pose (it’s actually kind of creepy how good his posing/feedback is 😂), and is super supportive of any emotional ups and downs I may have. ⠀ Show days-like I said, not my favorite, is a LOT of waiting around, not just for me, but for him as well and he was all alone to top it all off. Not one single complaint and so many photos and sweet texts to calm my nerves. ⠀ That’s literally how supportive he is. He said watching me on stage is better than ever opening Christmas presents as a kid, that’s how excited he gets. It makes my heart happy knowing he feels so proud. ⠀ No he doesn’t get jealous or weird about me being in a bikini, because it’s a sport and he understands it. Yesterday I decided to skip leg day so I had to work legs into my push routine today😷 . I had to sit down after because I just killed a PR for my squats. I maxed out a 335 for 1 rep . I'm seeing a lot of progress with this new Push/Pull/Leg split. Consistency is 🔑 at Ottawa, Ontario
