Chocolate orange oatmeal to start the day! - To make the oatmeal i just made regular oats and added juice and zest from one orange as well as cacao powder, vanilla, stevia and a pinch of salt! DELICIOUS 😍😍 - I am sure nobody has missed the news about George Floyd... and if you have, Google it. It makes me sad that it had to take this for so many.. myself included to speak up about racism and social injustices on our platforms. Granted we all have our niches, want to stay out if conflict and avoid controversies.. as well as many use instagram to maybe avoid reality and all the ah* that happens in real life. But times like this.... staying silent to stay neutral is choosing the side of the oppressors. - And you know what..m it's not enough to just be racist... but to be ANTI racist. This means having the tough conversations with friends, family or acquaintances who think it's OK to make racist comments or jokes. Just like when it comes to other social injustices or discrimination... don't partake in the discrimination and call it out when you can. - And if anyone unfollows me for posting this... then bye and educate yourself. - As a white privileged girl I also need to educate myself. I know about the discrimination and social injustices but will never know first hand what it's like to experience it... but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. VEGAN BISCOFF AND BANANA PANCAKES 🥞 I am so proud of this morning’s stack 🤩🤩🤩 I used my usual pancake recipe but added @myvegan banana and cinnamon protein powder to these ones: 2/3 cup flour 1/3 cup protein powder 1 cup milk 1 @orgranfoods vegan egg equivalent 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp apple cider vinegar This recipe made around 12 pancakes (7 for me and 5 for my family) so just half the mixture for a single serving, unless you wanna eat 12 pancakes which is also okay 🤤 #vegan

Crispy tofu stir-fry with mushrooms and French green beans in Korean BBQ sauce by @cookingforpeanuts 🧡 Packed with so much flavour! . Press and dry 1-14oz block extra-firm tofu with heavy object and paper towels to remove excess liquid. Cut into bite-size cubes. Toss with some low-sodium tamari or soy sauce to lightly coat each cube. Place 3 tbsp corn starch into a freezer bag and add tofu cubes. Seal bag and shake until tofu pieces are coated with the corn starch. Make Korean BBQ sauce: In medium bowl, mix 3/4 cup low-sodium tamari or soy sauce, 3 tbsp maple syrup, 1/4 cup water, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1-1/2 tbsp chili paste (or to taste), 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp finely minced ginger, 5 finely minced garlic cloves. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch in 1 tbsp water until dissolved. Set bowls aside. Heat a little neutral oil in non-stick skillet. Add 1 lb cremini mushrooms (thickly sliced), flat side down, and let sit a few minutes before disturbing. Once bottom is dark golden-brown, sauté and cook until both sides are the same color. Add a splash of tamari or soy sauce and cook 30 seconds. Transfer to flat plate. Add 1 lb cut French green beans to skillet and sauté until dark golden-brown. Transfer to plate with mushrooms. Add more oil if needed and sauté coated tofu until all sides are golden. Transfer mushrooms and green beans back into skillet with tofu. Pour sauce into a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil while whisking. Add the dissolved cornstarch and keep whisking. Heat while whisking until starts to thicken. Spoon desired amount of sauce into skillet with tofu and veggies. Samosas 🥟😍 . 📸: @thevegansara ​. ​Recipe: What you: The shell: 2 cups flour, 3 tbl neutral oil (I used refined coconut), 2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 cup water Filling: 3 medium starchy potatoes boiled & then diced into 1/2 in pieces, 1 cup peas, 1 tbl neutral oil, 1 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 in knob of grated ginger, 1 garlic clove grated, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tbl garam masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 2 tbl chopped cilantro ​ 1️⃣ For the crust: Combine flour, cumin, baking soda & salt in a medium mixing bowl 2️⃣Add oil, mix together rubbing the oil into the flour between your hands so that the mix gets crumbly. Add water 1 tbl at a time getting the dough to come together 3️⃣ Take dough out of bowl, knead 3-5 min, the dough will be smooth. Cover with a damp kitchen towel. Rest 30 min 4️⃣For the filling: on stovetop heat large sauté pan over medium/high heat. Add oil, when warmed add mustard seeds and cumin. Seeds will pop and turn brown 5️⃣Mix in chili powder, ginger, and garlic, then add peas, & stir 6️⃣ Add garam masala, turmeric , salt & potatoes mix well. Mash potatoes with masher or the back of fork so filling becomes a thicker consistency. Then add cilantro. Set aside to cool 7️⃣ Divide the dough into 4 equal sections. Have a small bowl of water on hand.Take 1 section roll out dough to a large disk about 8 in, slice disk in 1/2, take one of the halves, place the straight edge closest to you, dab edge with water. Now form a cone, by bringing the two corners up and together and then pressing the straight edges together. Hold the cone upright, add filling to the inside of the cone, about 3/4 full. Avocado Hummus & Baked Sweet Potato Fries by @thevegansara 😋 A healthy and delicious snack! ​. Follow us @deliciousveganrecipes for Daily vegan recipes 🙌🏻🌱 . ​For Hummus: 1 can chickpeas, rinsed & dried, (15 oz) 1/4 cup of runny tahini, juice of 1 lime, 2 garlic cloves, 2 tlb olive oil, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, flesh of 1 medium avocado, 1/2 cup cilantro, salt/pepper to taste For the sweet potatoes: 2 lbs of sweet potatoes, peeled & cut into 3 in long 1/2 in wide fries (I used a crinkle cutter knife), 2 tbl neutral oil, salt/pepper to taste 1️⃣ Boil 6 cups of water & combine with 4 cups of room temp water in a large pot . Let potatoes soak in pot on countertop for 1 hr while covered. 2️⃣ Dry fries well, mix with oil & seasonings, spread on parchment lined baking sheet in one layer. Bake at 425 F 35-40 min flipping when underside is golden. 3️⃣ While fries are baking, Using a food processor, process on high everything except avocado & parsley, till it reaches desired consistency. (I prefer my hummus smooth which takes longer to process about 3-5 min). Next add avocado & parsley, & process again on high. Adjust seasoning to taste. 4️⃣ I topped my avo hummus with cilantro, pumpkin seeds, a sprinkling of smoked paprika, & a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with your warm crispy sweet potato fries. Soya Dum Biryani I have never like textured soya, but I wanted to give it a new try. And do a biryani from it. A bit own mixes included also in this recipe. Adding wine and saffron, which is more used in paella and also coconut cream might not be the most traditional biryani ingredient. Have to say that I am still not a fan of textured soya, it is just too "spongy" for me. The crunchier bits on top of the dish are much better though. But have to say, it is cheap protein. Price per serving 2,55€. Ingredients 100g Textured Soya Chunks - 0,94€ 200g Button Mushrooms - 2,69€ 2dl Rice - 0,38€ 2dl White Wine - 2,00€ 2,5dl Coconut Cream - 2,29€ 2 Onions - 0,30€ 1/2 bunch of Coriander - 0,90€ 1tbsp Tomato Puree - 0,14€ 1tsp Chili Powder - 0,19€ 1tbsp Turmeric Powder - 0,22€ 1tbsp Coriander Seeds - 0,40€ 1 Cinnamon stick - 0,15€ 8 Cloves - 0,24€ 8 Cardamom pods - 0,33€ 2 Bay Leaves - 0,10€ 0,5g Saffron - 3,85€ 4tbsp Vegetable Oil - 0,16€ Salt - 0,04€ Total: 15,32€ (approx 6 servings) Prep: 10min, Cook: 50min, Total: 60min Directions - Mix saffron into wine - Preheat oven to 200⁰C - Boil soya chunks 10 minutes and drain - Then cook the rice about 3/4 of the normal cooking time - Put sliced mushrooms in a dry kettle and cook about 5 minutes or until the "sweating" stops. 🍈Lime, Zucchini & Poppy Sponge🍈 * 🍈Zesty Lime, Zucchini light fluffy sponge, with a subtle nutty crunch of poppy seed. Topped off with Lime frosting and zest. 🍈This cake is so moist, simply delicious and easy to make... let's bake 😋 * 🍈The sponge🍈 * 300g grated Zucchini with juice squeezed out a little. 350g self raising flour or gf alternative. 200g golden caster sugar. 120 ml olive oil. 2 tbsp poppy seeds. Fettuccine Alfredo ♥️ Creamy and comforting! Tag someone who loves pasta! ​ ​1 cup cashews, soaked and rinsed 1/2 a block of firm tofu 1/2 a cup unsweetened plain plant milk 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 2 tbsp white wine or apple cider vinegar 1/2 tbsp garlic powder or a couple fresh garlic cloves 1/2 tbsp tsp dried basil Salt to taste Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil Plus 1 package fettuccine or pasta of choice + 1 cup pasta water Optional: 1 large zucchini, spiralized Baby spinach Fresh basil ________________________________ Cook pasta according to directions and reserve at least 1 cup of pasta water before draining and spriralize the washed (or peeled if not organic) zucchini. Add all ingredients for the sauce together with 1 cup of pasta water to a food processor and blend until very smooth. Mix hot pasta and zucchini noodles with the sauce, add some spinach and fresh basil if using and enjoy! ________________________________ You could also use a cup of white beans instead of the tofu! The olive oil can be omitted but it just adds just a tiny bit more creamy- and deliciousness. My favorite plant milk is oat or soy. For the soaked cashews, I pour hot water over the cashews for a quick 15 minute soak and rinse them well before blending. You can also soak them longer with cold water or over night. Pancakes-Sunday! by @vegan_food_is_thebest Today I create this amazing mango, blueberry & coconut of vegan pancake. Want the recipe? For pancakes you need to blend 3/4cup of oats with 1 pitted date. Smash 1/4banana and mix with 100ml of plant milk or water+1tsp of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Add to the oat and date flour 1/2tsp of cinnamon+1/4tsp of baking powder as well as 2tbsp of coconut flour. Mix and combine with the wet mixture. Add 1big tbsp of composition in a non stick pan at medium heat and cook till is get a dried aspect and bubbles. Flip and repeat. You should get around 6 pancakes! For “filling” I mix 30g of soy yogurt with a pinch of chia seeds and 20g of frozen smashed blueberries x 2 times but now with finally chopped mango instead of smashed frozen blueberries (in two different bowls). To make my plate fancier I add one pancake, then blueberry yogurt, another pancake and then mango yogurt. I repeat and as final toppings I use more mango and blueberry, homemade peanut caramel sauce (mix 1tbsp of Pb with splash of plant milk and 1/2tsp of maple syrup or any liquid sweetener), few quinoa or rice puffs, shredded coconut and a bit of more maple syrup! Sweet Potato Tex-Mex salad, inspired by @bbcgoodfood 🥗 perfect for a fresh & healthy dinner on a hot evening! 🥰🥑🍅💚🌶🥬🥗 ⁣ The tangy and spicy dressing is perfect to balance out the sweetness from the potatoes! I subbed the black beans for kidney beans as they're just what I had on hand! I also added loooots of spinach as the base of the salad to make it more filling for a dinner. ⁣🌿 ⁣ It was perfect on a hot summery evening in our garden, with a cold glass of white wine. ☀️🥂 ⁣ Ingredients (for 2):⁣ 4 handfuls of fresh spinach⁣ 1 medium sweet potatoes (cut into even chunks)⁣ 400g can kidney beans/black beans (drained and rinsed)⁣ 1 avocado (chopped)⁣ 1/2 cup tomatoes (chopped)⁣ 1 small red onion (chopped or sliced)⁣ 1/2 cup cucumber (chopped)⁣ 1 large handful of coriander (roughly chopped)⁣ 1 red chilli (de-seeded and chopped) ⁣ Dressing:⁣ 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil⁣ 1 tbsp soy sauce⁣ 1 tsp chilli flakes (add more if you want it spicier)⁣ juice 1/2 lime⁣ Mix well!⁣ ⁣ Method:⁣ Roast your sweet potato chunks in the preferred method. I parboiled mine, then grilled them in a George Foreman for the chargrilled lines and texture! I then tossed them with some salt, pepper, cajun seasoning, chilli flakes & nutritional yeast in a bowl, before assembling onto the salad. Use which ever flavours you like to compliment the sweet potato. ⁣ ⁣ Then assemble all your veg on a bed of spinach & drizzle the dressing over. Vegan coconut-cake Gestern habe ich diesen leckeren Kokoskuchen gebacken. Der ist ganz leicht gemacht, super saftig und schmeckt herrlich nach Kokos. Was ist Euer liebster veganer Kuchen? Rezept: 200g Margarine 200g Zucker 3 Päckchen Vanillezucker 1 Prise Salz 300g Apfelmus 350g Mehl 150g Kokosraspeln 1 Packung Backpulver 150 ml Kokosmilch Puderzucker, Wasser und etwas Kokosraspel für die Glasur Anleitung: Mehl, Kokosraspeln, Zucker, Vanillezucker, Salz und Backpulver in einer großen Schüssel mischen. Margarine leicht erwärmen. Kokosmilch, Apfelmus und Margarine hinzugeben und zu einem glatten Teig verrühren. Ofen auf 150°C Umluft oder 175°C Ober-/Unterhitze vorheizen. Eine Kastenform mit Backpapier auslegen oder gut einfetten und Teig hineingeben. Ca. 60 bis 70 Minuten backen. Mushroom Stroganoff with fluffy mashed potato 💚 Try this really comforting dish! Get the recipe: ⁣ Serves 1-2⁣ Ingredients:⁣ - 1 red onion, finely diced⁣ - 2 cloves garlic, minced OR 2tsp garlic granules ⁣ - 300g mushrooms, sliced - 1tsp dried parsley/2tbsp fresh chopped parsley ⁣ - 1tsp smoked paprika⁣ - 120ml vegetable stock⁣ - 1/4 tsp yeast extract (marmite) OR 1tsp soy sauce⁣ - 4tbsp no added sugar plain dairy free yoghurt⁣ - cracked black pepper, to taste⁣ ⁣ Method:⁣ 1. Sauté the onion in a pan using a little water on a medium/high heat setting until soft and see through.⁣ ⁣ 2. Add in the mushrooms & garlic (add more water if needed) and cook for 6 mins until the mushrooms are almost soft. ⁣ ⁣ 3. Add in the parsley, & smoked paprika cook for another 1 min until fragrant.⁣ ⁣ 4. Pour in the vegetable stock and let it simmer on a low heat setting for about 5mins or until it thickens. ⁣ ⁣ 5. Another Sunday, another smoothie bowl 🤩 my usual frozen banana, berries, and a few chunks of watermelon blended with a splash of soya milk until smooth and creamy. tomorrow is moving day for me, so tonight I cooked up a vegan ‘anything I can use for dinner I don’t have to carry’ feast to use up what I could.. here’s how the menu ended up! Shakshuka (recipe on my website), curried sausages with mango chutney, ‘yellow’ rice, a bean and homemade ricotta salad using @avsorganicfoods AND BBQ style shiitake using the @fablefoodco products. Glass of wine because moving is stressful, and even more stressful when you decide on a cook up in the middle of it.

Has anyone tried the @squeakybeanveg fish fingers? . We cooked these up along with some oven baked paprika potato wedges and a huge dollop of @hellmannsuk vegan mayonnaise and it was beautiful. . Our review of the fish fingers. . One of the best fish finger alternatives we have tried. They have a subtle fishy flavour and the texture was slightly flaky and slightly meaty. The small when we took the out of the oven filled the room and smelt like cooked battered fish. . Our recipe for the potato wedges: Four medium potatoes 2 tbsp oil 3 tbsp smoked paprika Salt to taste . 1. Preheat the oven gas mark 6 2. Chop your potato into wedges (try to make them all roughly the same size) and soak them in some cold water for about half an hour. 3. When the potatoes have finished soaking, take them out of the water and pat them dry with a tea towel. 4. Add them to the a bowl and pour the oil over them. Mix with your hands to ensure they are all coated. 5. Once they are coated, lay them on a baking tray making sure they don't overlap one another and sprinkle the paprika on top making sure they are coated both sides. 6. Place in the oven for about 40 to 50 minutes turning them half way. 7. Enjoy with a dollop of mayonaise

And especially not in your eyes. I hunt and kill animals and I totally understand that that’s something against your beliefs. But I don’t eat or use any other animal products out of the farm-industry. I hunt for my own meat because I believe death is part of life. To be clear: I’m not writing this to get your agreement or compliments. But what totally blows me is your narrow-mindness when it comes to other ideas: you think you own veganism. You think you own the terminology around veganism. When I use a vegan hashtag, you call me narcistic, sick, anti-social and an attention seeker. It makes more than 400 of you go to my post and comment reply angry and upset comments. Let me tell you this: I have 26000 followers on my Instagram. They are mostly meat-eaters. Sometimes hunters, sometimes not. By using as #veganbreakfast or #vegandinner, I offer the possibility for people that don’t even know about your little groups to see all your great recipes. That’s what makes a platform as Instagram so great. But what you do in return is saying that I’m not allowed to use these hashtags because they are yours and you don’t want to be confronted with the suffering in the world as a ‘pure vegan’ . You seem to be so happy and without sorrows in your little world that it’s not allowed for other people to join. So let me ask you this: do you act the same when you are in the supermarket and you see someone buying meat from the farm industry? Do you call your mother an attention seeking narcist when she drinks a cappuccino with milk from a dairy farm cow? How do you act when you see a truck with animals on the road on their way to slaughter? I believe we all should do our best to make the world a little bit nicer. We don’t use the same methods, but please, be a little more open minded.

Ingredients: . - 2 servings of dried pasta of choice (I used wholewheat penne) ⁣ - 1/2 medium/large onion, diced⁣ - 1 clove garlic, minced or 1tsp garlic granules ⁣ - a few closed cup mushrooms, sliced⁣ - 1/2 a 400g can red kidney beans, drained & rinsed⁣ - 1/2 can coconut milk ⁣ - 1/2 tsp ground cumin⁣ - 2 tsp medium curry powder⁣ - a handful fresh organic spinach⁣ - juice of 1/2 a lime⁣ - salt & pepper to taste!⁣ ⁣. Instructions: 1. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, then also add the red kidney beans to the same pan as the pasta to cook together until al dante. ⁣ 2. Meanwhile, sauté the onion, garlic & mushrooms in a frying pan with a little water/oil for 5-10 mins until the mushrooms are soft. ⁣ 3. Turn the heat down to low, then add in the cumin & curry powder. Stir for 1 min until fragrant.⁣ 4. Pour in the canned coconut milk & squeeze of 1/2 a lime. ⁣ 5. One the pasta is cooked, drain the pasta and kidney beans from the pan through a colander, then stir them into the pan with the curry. ⁣ 6. Bring the heat up to a medium setting, add a handful of spinach and stir frequently for 5 mins until the spinach has wilted. ⁣ 6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve once piping hot and enjoy! ⁣ . . . Is it even Sunday if Instagram isn't filled with pancake photos? I'm sorry to be mainstream, but these were too good not to share 😍 So easy and so fluffy 🤤 Go to my latest blog post to find out how to make your own pancake moulds. 😏 (Makes 2) 80g Gluten-free plain flour 1 tbsp sugar (I used Xylitol) 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda Pinch of salt 1/4 cup dairy free milk 1 tsp oil 2 tsp apple cider vinegar 2 tsp vanilla extract . In a small bowl (or measuring jug), mix the dry ingredients together. Add in the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. DO NOT OVERMIX. The batter should be thick-ish. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat, and grease with a bit of butter or oil spray. Place your pancake moulds (tutorial in my blog post!) in the pan and evenly distribute the pancake batter between 2. Cover the pancakes with a lid and leave for 10 minutes. My Sunday morning brunch team: two blondes and a blondie 🤎 We baked a vegan apple blondie this morning and it was insanely delicious. Imagine your favorite apple cake but extra rich, chewy in the middle and crispy around the edges. Oh boy 🤤🤤🤤 We topped it of with some @alpro alternative to yoghurt and salted caramel. But it would also be dangerously good eaten with a scoop of caramel swirled icecream. 🍎🥧🍦 Recipe: -2 apples peeked&chopped,tossed in cinnamon and 1tbsp brown sugar -250gr all-purpose flour -250gr blond sugar (kinnekessuiker) -200gr melted margarine (I used alpro bakken&Braden) or vegan butter -1,5 tsp baking powder -1tsp cinnamon -120gr unsweetened applesauce -1,5tsp vanilla extract -pinch of salt -handful of chopped almonds,pecans or walnuts . Mix dry ingredients, then add melted butter and apple sauce, then fold in apples, bake at 180*C for 40minutes 👩🏼‍🍳 . I ll help you.. winter is here and I love making this following recipe with bok choy.. they are so soothing Nd comforting.... the bok choy broth pic is quite an old pic of mine, but the garden pic ( swipe to see) is fresh from today. If you want to try plz do 💚. I usually use baby bok choy and so they are good to go now.. Infact I should have planted in batch of 4 every month, so I ll have continuous supply. Stir fried Baby Bok Choy in Ginger Garlic broth. This is super easy !! Heat a tbsp of coconut oil.. add grated garlic (2 pods) and grated ginger (2 inch) .. Для "сыра" - смешайте в блендере орехи, чеснок, сок 1/2 лимона, оливковое масло. Полученную смесь выложите на салат. Смешайте сок 1/2 лимона и мед, полейте салат. И наслаждайтесь 😋 ⠀ Strawberriy salad with macadamia "cheese " without chese 🤔 The most summer, colorful, vibrant salad, the easiest to prepare 😉 6 handfuls  baby spinach 1 cup sliced strawberries 1/2 cup raw macadamia (you can take raw walnuts, but soak them for 3h before using) 1 lemon 1/2 tsp olive oil 1 small garlic glove 2 tsp raw honey ⠀ Divide the spinach onto 2 plates. Slice the strawberries and arrange on the plates atop the spinach. For macadamia "cheese"- blend the macadamia nuts, half of the lemon juice, the olive oil, and the garlic until smooth. Crumble the macadamia “cheese” over the salad plates. Serve topped with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a drizzle of raw honey, if desired.
