🌶️Spicy Tofu🌶️ ¿Una receta para triunfar con el tofu? Para nosotros siempre va a ser esta y los nuggets de tofu. Es ideal para una comida o una cena con amigos, se hace en una tontería si dejas marinado tu tofu con tiempo, y mientras esperan pueden compartir un vino y algunas anécdotas. Les dejamos la idea para estos días en que todos estamos deseosos de reencontramos con nuestros amigos. _ 🌱Vamos a necesitar: •200 gr de Tofu extrafirme •1/3 de taza de Tamari o Salsa de Soja •1 cdta de pimentón picante •1 cdta de ajo en polvo •1 cdta de cebolla en polvo •1 cdta de humo líquido •1 cdta de pimienta negra molida •Opcional: Chili picante •1cda de Salsa de Barbacoa • 1cdta de azúcar de panela o morena • Sal al gusto • 1/3 de almidón o fécula de maíz. 🌱Procedimiento: •Primero vamos a marinar el tofu, para esto vamos a cortarlo en cubos de aproximadamente 1cm o como tú prefieras y luego vamos a dejarlo en un bol con el resto de los ingredientes, excepto la fécula de maí, durante mínimo una hora, pero si lo dejan un par de horas más les juro que les quedará un sabor más profundo. •Transcurrido este tiempo vamos a separar el tofu de los componentes líquidos, dejen ese líquido guardadito por favor. Coloquemos el tofu con la fécula de maíz en una bolsa, esto es para llenar la bolsa de aire y agitar, está es mi manera rápida de distribuir uniformemente el almidón. Ese almidón también lo van a guardar. • En una sartén caliente con un poquito de aceite de oliva o el aceite que tengan vamos a sellar solamente los daditos de tofu. Cuando estén doraditos retiren del fuego. •Ahora vamos a hacer una reducción con la salsa en la que marinamos nuestro tofu, vamos a llevarla a una olla a fuego medio y agreguemos la fécula de maíz que nos sobró diluida con un poquito de agua. Creamy, cheesy pasta with a sauce made mostly from potatoes by @thezestylime Follow @veganrecipelab for daily vegan recipes! . For the sauce i blended boiled potatoes, sautéed garlic and onions, oat milk, vegan cream cheese, nutritional yeast, a few herb, spice blends, sea salt & pepper 😋 Threw in some organic kalettes and topped it with a spoonful of rose harissa pesto [gifted]. What did you miss doing the most since lockdown started? Today I bought few second hand terracotta pots locally on a Facebook market. On the way to allotment I start to think that there is one thing I really missed doing. My life haven't changed a lot since lockdown. I've been going to work all the time, I was the one who was doing family shopping all the time and I kinda liked it because I didn't have to take kids with me and I had great reason for that. I liked it that all unnecessary shops were closed, so it saved me some money. But ther is one thing I am always looking forward when the spring comes and it is a good car boot sale. I absolutely love car boot sales and I am that bargain hunter who is looking for nice second hand pots, baskets or anything what would be useful on allotment. Cook the pasta and drain. 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add onions and cook 8-9 minutes until soft & lightly caramelized. Add garlic, thyme, lemon rind for 2 minutes. Vegan Quesadilla with black beans Follow us @best.plantbased.recipe for Daily vegan recipes Photo and recipe by @elavegan Ingredients 6 tortillas 1/2 onion, chopped 2 cloves of garlic, minced 1 bell pepper, chopped 2/3 cup black beans, cooked or canned 1/2 cup corn, cooked or canned 1 tbsp oil divided 1 tbsp liquid aminos or coconut aminos spice mix: 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp (ground) oregano, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, 1/3 tsp red pepper flakes salt and pepper to taste 1 batch easy vegan cheese sauce Instructions Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan, add 1 tbsp soy sauce, onion, garlic, pepper, and mushrooms and fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Add the corn, black beans, and spice mix and fry for a further 3-4 minutes. veggie mixture in a pan for vegan quesadillas Make a batch of my easy vegan cheese sauce and spread some of it in an even layer onto one tortilla. Here's the hard truth about clean eating in central PA..... Most of the time it looks like this, running out of the house and grabbing a Greek yogurt, a pepper, a carrot or whatever else is shoved in the crisper. It's getting a little easier to find healthy options out & about, but let's be real we don't exactly have an abundance of fresh & healthy options. I've never gardened, but I'm a big fan of picking up fresh produce at a roadside stand in the summer. Now you may look at this and think.....no way! A Greek yogurt and a yellow pepper??? But the truth is that this whole clean eating journey has been very good for me besides just the obvious health reasons. I had definitely been conditioned to depend on fast, convenience foods. So when I went into this, I knew I was going to get uncomfortable. Learning to make do with basic, REAL foods takes some leveling up & some honesty with yourself about the role food plays in your life and about your life in general. I had to admit that I was out of balance, and spending too much time on other things instead of planning and preparing my own food. So I had to address what was REALLY going on in my life underneath the food behaviors. And I had to make some LIFE changes in order to do this. But it's been GOOD!! Slowing down, half-a$$ed planning(that's as good as it gets for me right now😜),& preparing food FEELS GOOD! It can effect your whole life when you commit to it. And no, I don't just live on vegetables and water, but it HAS done me good in a lot of ways to increase my intake of veggies- of which I used to eat NONE. I've broken the sugar addiction and retrained my taste buds to not miss all the junk I used to live on. That being said, I also still very much enjoy pizza, cake & all the usual treats, just as more of a treat and not an everyday occurrence. A chaque fois que je vais faire les courses je prends une barquette de #fraises 🍓🍓sans me poser la question que faire avec ces fraises, je sais que je trouverais toujours une recette sympa qui fera le bonheur de mes enfants. Une idées de fraises originales 😁une recette qui change de la tarte ! Fraiseburgers Ingrédients La pâte à buns burger 20 g de levure boulangère fraîche 300 g de lait 500 g de farine de blé 40 g de sucre en poudre 80 g de beurre doux, fondu 1 c. à café de sel farine de blé pour le plan de travail 1 œuf battu 15 pincées de graines de sésame La crème pâtissière 500 g de lait 50 g de farine de blé 2 œufs 2 jaunes ďœufs 10 g de sucre vanillé maison 70 g de sucre en poudre La garniture 250 g de fraises, émincées en fines tranches 3 de kiwis, détaillés en dés Préparation La pâte à buns burger Mettre la levure et le lait dans le bol, puis tiédir 2 min/37°C/vitesse 1. Ajouter la farine, le sucre, le beurre et le sel, puis pétrir 5 min/. Transvaser la pâte dans un saladier légèrement fariné, couvrir d'un torchon et laisser pousser 1-2 heures à température constante (à l'abri des courants d'air). La pâte doit doubler de volume. Préchauffer le four à 200°C (Th. 6-7). Tapisser une plaque de four de papier cuisson et réserver. A la fin du temps de pousse, transvaser la pâte sur un plan de travail fariné. La rabattre fermement à la main pour en chasser le gaz. Détailler des pâtons (40 g environ) et les rouler en boule. Poser les boules sur la plaque préparée et les aplatir légèrement pour leur donner la forme d'un mini burger. Dorer les mini-burgers avec l'oeuf battu à l'aide d'un pinceau de cuisine, puis saupoudrer de graines de sésame. Enfourner et cuire 10-20 minutes à 200°C. Nettoyer le bol. Laisser refroidir les buns, puis les couper en deux dans l'épaisseur. La crème pâtissière Mettre le lait, la farine, les oeufs, les jaunes d'oeufs, le sucre vanillé et le sucre en poudre dans le bol, cuire 7 min/90°C/vitess4, puis mixer 15 sec/vitesse 5-9 en augmentant progressivement la vitesse. Transvaser la crème dans un récipient, puis laisser refroidir avant de réserver au réfrigérateur.

FOLLOW👉@eatingwellndgood 🥑🍏 • • • • • • 🍩Vegan Doughnuts 🍩 ⠀ 📷Credits: @proper_tasty ⠀ 📝Recipe (Makes 12): 50 grams vegan margarine 120 millilitres soy milk 2 tablespoons sunflower oil, plus 1 litre extra for frying 250 grams plain flour 100 grams caster sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt ⠀ 📍INSTRUCTION: 1. Gently melt the butter over a low-medium heat. Add milk and 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil and mix together. Once combined, take off the heat and set aside. 2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, 50g of the sugar, baking powder and salt with a fork. Make a well in the centre and pour in the butter mixture. Combine gradually until a thick dough forms. 3. Using your hands, roll dough into little flat balls and with your thumb, press a hole in the centre of each doughnut. (You may need to flour your hands for this part to avoid getting sticky!) 4. Heat up the litre of oil in a pan. To know when it's hot enough, fry a little bit of bread in the oil. If it goes brown and floats to the top, in 45-50 seconds the oil will be ready! Gently lay the doughnuts into the oil using a spatula. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown. 5. Transfer the doughnuts onto some tissue paper to soak up any excess oil. Then roll into a bowl of the remaining 50g sugar. Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower🧀 A yummy and comforting side dish! RECIPE: 500g cauliflower (broken into florets) 20g Parmesan (grated) 1 garlic clove (minced) 50g Butter (melted) Salt & pepper Preheat the oven to 150°C. Place the cauliflower florets on a prepared baking tray. Melt the butter in the microwave and then stir the minced garlic into it. Tomato pasta with black chickpeas by @earthofmariaa Follow us @healthy.organic.food for daily vegan recipes Recipe 150g pasta of choice 1 medium onion, chopped 150g mushrooms, chopped 1/2 can chopped tomatoes 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp tamari 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1 can black chickpeas, drained and rinsed 2 cups kale, de-stemmed and chopped Pecan nuts, to serve Directions Cook the pasta according to instructions on packaging. Add the onion and the mushrooms to a non-stick frying pan and cook for around 5 minutes, until they soften. Add the chopped tomatoes, cumin, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, tamari and garlic salt, and cook for a further 5 minutes over a medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in the black chickpeas and kale at the last minute, cooking until the kale wilts. Recipe:⠀ .⠀ One-pot mushroom & rice soup (serves 4-6)⠀ Ingredients: -2-3 tbsp olive oil⠀ -1 tsp dried thyme + 1/2 tsp dried sage, or herbs of your choice⠀ -2 shallots, diced⠀ -5 cloves garlic, minced⠀ -1 1/2 cups dry white rice, rinsed and drained⠀ -700g (25 oz) mushrooms, sliced (I used portobello and shiitake)⠀ -3 1/2 cups vegetable stock, plus more as needed⠀ -optional: 1/2 cup dairy-free cream or 2 tbsp tahini⠀ -salt and pepper, to taste⠀ -lemon juice, to taste⠀ .⠀ Instructions:⠀ In a large pot, heat olive oil and saute the shallots and garlic. After 5 minutes, stir in mushrooms, rice, and dried herbs, then fry until the mushrooms have released some of their water. Pour in the vegetable stock and cover the pot. Simmer on low heat, stirring frequently, until the rice is cooked through. If desired, stir in some cream or tahini for creaminess. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste. Serve warm.

INGREDIENTS: • 3 cups cooked rice (used glutinous rice or sub with other rice). • About 15-20 cabbage leaves. • 3/4 cup kale stems, finely chopped (or use broccoli stem). • 1/2 cup mushrooms, finely chopped - optional (used mini King Oyster mushrooms). • 1 small carrot, finely chopped. • 1 tablespoon finely minced ginger. • Oil for cooking, salt to taste⁣. SEASONING: • 1 tablespoon soy sauce/tamari. • Pepper. • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil. • Salt & pepper to taste. SAUCE (optional, cabbage wraps can be served as is): • Whisk together 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce/tamari,1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1 tablespoon mirin, 1 chopped Thai chilis (optional) salt & pepper in 1/2 cup water until well combined. . INSTRUCTIONS: 1. To make the filling, heat a non-stick pan with 1 teaspoon oil, sauté ginger until fragrant, add mushrooms, cook for 1-2mins. Add kale stems & continue to cook for about 30 secs, turn off the heat. 2. Transfer mixture to a bowl, then add carrots, cooked rice & mix well with seasoning ingredients. 3. Bring a pot of water to boil, blanch cabbage leaves for about 45secs. Remove & quickly plunge them in icy water to stop the cooking. 4. Place one cabbage leaf on a cleaned surface. Add a heaping spoon of filling in the middle, fold in the sides & wrap to seal. (Note: more filling for a larger leaf). Repeat with the remaining ingredients. 5. In a heated non-stick pan with 1 teaspoon oil, place as many cabbage wraps as will fit in one layer in the pan. Cook until both sides are nicely browned, flipping in halfway. 6. SAUCE: Add the sauce ingredients in a pan, then bring it to simmer & cook until slightly thickened. 7. Drizzle sauce on the cabbage wraps & garnish with sesame seeds & chopped cilantro.

Manchmal ist es im Garten auch wie ein "Schuss in den Ofen" Zugegeben, ich hab euch jetzt einen von zwei Kohlrabis fotografiert, die tatsächlich eine schöne Knolle ausbilden und bestimmt bald lecker schmecken werden. Die Anderen haben aber alle nicht geknollt und hatten nur Blätter und einen dürren Stiel. Das Saatgut hatte ich aus einem Tauschpaket. Vielleicht ist es gar nicht so einfach, Samen von Kohlrabis zu entnehmen? Es war nämlich Selfmade Saatgut. Wie geht eigentlich Saatgut Gewinnung vom Kohlrabi? Ich hab keine Ahnung um ehrlich zu sein 🙈🙉🙊 Aus dem Garten Center hab ich noch mal ein paar Jungpflanzen geholt. Die brauchen natürlich noch einige Wochen. 🍊Blood Orange Cake🍊 ⠀ Follow: @vegalien❤️ Follow: @vegalien❤️ ⠀ 📷Credits: @clean_body_ ⠀ 📝Recipe: Juice of two blood oranges (110ml ) 85 ml oat milk 1 package vanilla sugar 65 g sweetener (I used 45 g coconut sugar & 20 g xylitol) 20 ml canola oil 80 g fruit purée (apple e.g.) 1 tsp apple cider vinegar 250 g spelt flour type 630 1 tsp dried lemon zest (or fresh) 1 heaped tsp backing powder Plus: 1 more blood orange, cut into slices ⠀ 📍INSTRUCTION: Combine wet & dry ingredients and knead for only a short moment. Put into a greased pan, top with orange slices & sprinkle with some coconut sugar. Bake at 175 degrees for 55 minutes in the preheated oven. Spring inspired soup @feelgoodfoodie 😋 Tag a friend who’d love this! ❤️⠀ Follow 👉@veganfitrecipes⠀ Recipe Down Below 👇⠀ ⠀ INGREDIENTS⠀ 1 tablespoon olive oil⠀ 1 onion, chopped⠀ 2 cloves garlic, minced⠀ 2 pounds asparagus⠀ 4 small potatoes⠀ Salt and pepper, to taste⠀ 4 cups vegetable broth⠀ 2 cups @califiafarms Unsweetened Better Half⠀ Lemon, for serving⠀ INSTRUCTIONS⠀ 1. Preheat oven to 400°F and place asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil of choice and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat and roast for 15 minutes until the asparagus softens.⠀ 2. Heat olive oil in a large stock pot over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.⠀ 3. Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, then cook with the onions and garlic for a few minutes. Pour the vegetable broth and almond milk, bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.⠀ 4. Add the roasted asparagus into the pot. Uses an immersion blender to blend the soup until it’s smooth and creamy. You can also do this in batches in a blender.⠀ 5.
