Newsflash: I hate running. I really do. I donโ€™t hate cardio, I just hate mindless tasks. You know what they say, if you donโ€™t like something, try something else! My new cardio grind has been rowing. Extremely effective when it comes to burning fat and getting a good full body workout! Set a timer for 1 hour. Row 250 meters as fast as you can and rest for no more than a minute. Repeat as many times as will fit into an hour. You will work up a sweat, work your leg muscles and you may feel it in certain arm and back muscles. MAINTAIN GOOD POSTURE to minimize back pain! Youโ€™ll start to feel what good form is and learn how to avoid back pain. Remember to stretch before and after your workout and drink plenty of water. Iโ€™m sure people get tired of seeing my transformation posts, but I just canโ€™t help it. Looking back I canโ€™t believe I ever got so out of control. I was eating roughly 3500 calories a DAY! Thatโ€™s just insane. I could have let myself continue to get out of control. Instead I got dedicated and I took control of it. It will never be easy. I will always struggle because letโ€™s face it, food is AMAZING!! So of course itโ€™s easy to over eat. But you have to set your mind straight and realize that no matter how much you want the food you do not NEED so much of it. You do not NEED the junk. As much as I love food I love my body more. I want to set a good example for my kids that I never had. I grew up seeing over eating, starving yourself to be skinny, and I saw self hate. I grew up picking out my every flaw because thatโ€™s what I always knew. I want my kids to grow up loving and caring for themselves the way they should. #keto cycle 1 day 3 #mondaydinner Delicious Sung Choi Bao Made with.... 2 tablespoons of grass fed butter (or fat or oil of your liking) 500 grams beef mince Salt and pepper to taste 2 large cloves of garlic finely chopped Half a small brown onion finely chopped 3/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger 1 teaspoon lemon grass paste (from fresh food section in supermarket) 2 tablespoons of mushroom flavoured dark soy sauce 1 iceburg lettuce Heat butter (or your choice of fat) in fry pan. Add mince, salt and pepper to taste and fry off until cooked. Push mince to side of fry pan add more butter (or oil if you like), melt and fry off the ginger and lemon grass. Add two table spoons of mushroom flavoured dark soy sauce and stir to combine all ingredients. Pretty much all I eat today. Breakfast: omelette with fresh cheese and turkey breast. Lunch: rice, fish, turkey breast and salad. Dinner: eggplant pizza, salad and fruits. For Shabbat dinner we decided to picnic on the park. It was fun! And since it is Shabbat, my husband came home really wanting to split a beer with me. I know it is not healthy... Day 130 of 365 That little blue square that id like to burn sometimes.....it came through today!! Weighed my self this morning and I was at a low number, then went to my Internship, slept and weighed again and it was 2 pounds down from that! Now I know I did not lose two pounds in one day but it just shows that the trend is going down! Hit a number that I haven't seen in a while!!
