Dubai, the experience, memories is always unforgettable. Emirates airlines efforts to have very low risk infection of covid-19 from ground to being admitted on board and disembark the aircraft is laudable. This will give workers and passengers confidence and calm fears. Since the resumption of passenger flights to 9 destinations out of Dubai, introduction of hygiene kits packaged nicely, containing nose mask, gloves, antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer. This is amazing and a great move, let's adhere to measures when our ban is lifted to make things easy. Emirates is still maintaining the standard in the pandemic. We shall overcome covid-19 🙏 but meanwhile we must find a way. Vacations|Travel|Getaways Dedicated to helping you travel the world. Cheapest hotel|flights! Family vacation planning made easy. - Book tours, things to do, and sightseeing. In all my wild mountaineering, I have enjoyed only one avalanche ride; and the start was so sudden, and the end came so soon, I thought but little of the danger that goes with this sort of travel, though one thinks fast at such times. Foodie Tuesday 🍽 Today’s feature: Mofongo 😋 . Mofongo is a traditional Puerto Rican dish, + although arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas) is their national dish, Mofongo is definitely a local favorite! Fried plantains are the main ingredient of the dish, but yucca and/or breadfruit can be used as well. The plantains are picked green, then mashed with salt, garlic, broth, olive oil, + sometimes chicharrón (pork rinds). . This delicious meal was born from blending the influences of 3 different cultures. Fufu, from West Africans who were enslaved and brought to the island; the pilón, a kitchen staple, from the indigenous Taino people; + sofrito, a Spanish sauce base made with onions, garlic, + peppers. . Mofongo is commonly served as Mofongo Relleno, filled with a meat, seafood, or vegetables. At Raices, I had it stuffed with chimichurri style skirt steak and man oh man!!! 10/10, I definitely recommend! Whenever I am visiting somewhere new, I like to ask the locals where to eat, and what they suggest trying. My server said the chimichurri steak was very popular + he assured me that I would love it + I am so glad I listened to him (local recommendations usually never fail!). When visiting Puerto Rico, or even a Puerto Rican restaurant in your city, do yourself a favor + try Mofongo!!! . Do you have a favorite Puerto Rican dish? If not, would you try Mofongo? Comment below ⬇️ + let‘a talk food 🤤😊

Another epic family road trip in the books. We cruised up highway 395 which is on the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountains. With some planning, a camper Cruiser (100 series Land Cruiser I converted to sleep 2 adults or one adult and three kids comfortably), and a bit of adventure we had the chance to visit a few well known, and a few remote spots on highway 395 between Alabama Hills and Mono Lake. California really does have it all. These are my favorite shots from my Nikon DSLR camera. 🗻🏞️ 1) June Lake 2) Sunrise fire from our remote campsite 3) and 4) Tufa's at Mono Lake 5) Tufa's with Sierra Nevada's in the background 6) My customized Camper Cruiser we used to off road and discover campgrounds since COVID-19 has most California campgrounds closed 7) Kids climbing trees 8) Wife and kids at June Lake 9) Wife and kids enjoying coffee/hot chocolate in the morning at our remote destination 10) Kids and I at Alabama Hills . . . . . #Travel  #Explore  #Exploring  #Explorer  #Wander  #nature  #mountains  #love  #amazing  #hiking  #LiveTravelChannel  #TravelStoke  #lonelyplanet  #theculturetrip  #worlderlust  #earth_deluxe  #TravelAwesome  #awesome_earthpix  #WeLiveToExplore  #BeautifulDestinations #InstaExplore #travelnoire #wegotoo #blackoutdoors #outdoorafro #blackpackers #soultravel #blavitylife #blackoutdoors #blacktravelmovement

A getaway to the Hawaiian Islands is the opportunity to unwind, unplug, recharge and refresh. Lanai, Hawaii’s sleepiest island, is the perfect choice if you’re looking to detach from the business of daily grind of urban life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lanai is home to Hawaii’s first luxury wellness retreat, The Four Seasons Lanai at Keole. It offers private wellness consultations, spa treatments, unlimited fitness classes, yoga and meditation — all in a beautiful and luxurious setting.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Before guests even arrive at Koele, they receive a robust onboarding questionnaire covering your health and spiritual history, along with a phone from a Sensei guide, who acts as a sort of sherpa throughout the visit, to guide you on your journey to rejuvenation.

#Carturesti Carousel is a bookshop 📚 that looks straight out of a #HarryPotter book. Simply amazing how you get lost in its alleys or sit at the café upstairs for a refreshment. I particularly appreciated the area on #photography & #travel books they had an amazing collection. That's one thing I love about travel: seeing a 'usual' shop in a different country. What topics are displayed, what's the profile of people there, are they getting books or sitting to read? It's amazing to see how different or similar things can be. 🎇 If you ever in #Bucharest, don't miss it!

Can we go back to the Soulja Boy line dance days? Cuz these little Tik Tok dances are hard 😂 • I tried, but I’m not about it. So, here’s a visual representation of me trying to learn this stuff even though I’m washed😩😂 • If it’s not a simple shoulder work move, then I can’t do it and I’m ok with that. I’m slowly starting to accept my dance related flaws 😂 • Raise your hand if you’re washed 🖐🏿. It’s ok. We’re in this together 😹

COVID Trip 🌎 This road trip covered almost 900 miles in less than 48 hours. I did some research beforehand and discovered several spots we could sleep and visit while being safe. We practiced social distancing and took advantage of the opportunity to see nature's beauty as it has blossomed while people around the world have been on lockdown. 🌍 We left on Sunday and made our first stop in Santa Barbara. After a bike ride around the city we spent the night camping out in the truck on a sleeping platform I built for less than $100 a few weeks ago. Monday morning (4am) I hit the road while everyone slept which bought us more time. By leaving early we were able to make stops in Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, and Big Sur and not feel rushed. Along the way we discovered a surprise hiking trail with a crazy waterfall, an entire beach covered with Elephant seals, and several other spots to visit in the future. All with little to no one in sight. I share this to say, the best things in life are experiences, not things. Get out there and explore "responsibly" if you can. 🌏

A couple of weeks ago I was talking to my Mom and told her I had to attend a meeting and conference to attend in San Francisco. She asked me if she could go with me because she had never been to the Bay area. So last week I left a day earlier and stayed a day later to show her around San Francisco and take the scenic route home. We hit Monterey, Big Sur, and Solvang.

For our ten year anniversary on June 7th, I surprised Natasha with a photo shoot in Santorini. Thanks @true_santorini for the 🔥 shots. He had access to some private spots that tourists can't get to including taking pictures in front of the ladies house who basically owns this entire area (QueenPin).

Spent a couple of days in the Lefkogia area on the island of Crete. Got to experience the local culture, food (amazing), and 4 of the most beautiful beaches. Preveli beach had a river surrounded with palm trees that flows into a beautiful ocean (and had waterfalls). Tasha and I swam into the caves, laid out, and I swam up the river. We're headed out to our final destination later the most Western point of the island that has pink sand beaches. The adventure continues.

Spent our ten year anniversary (June 7th) in Santorini. How do we stay the course despite life's many ups and downs? We support each other's dreams, work to improve ourselves individually every day, and love each other unconditionally. Here's to a lifetime of adventures mi amor.

Our last night in New York. This was the view from Brooklyn. The city we almost moved to before we left NJ to head back to California in 2010. I had a job opportunity in Mid town Manhattan, or back in California. We decided to move back to California, and ironically, we found out that @natashapeters was preggo with Elianna two days before we hit the road and drove cross country. 8 years later, we're back, and are planning another family trip with the Nassar's for Christmas 2020.

Walked at least 8 miles today just randomly exploring the city and getting pictures/videos of all the bridges for Jayden. Osaka iswinning the architecture game. The city/nature blends are second to none.
