If anyone asks, I’ve been bulking okay?🐷🍰💕 - This is my current physique after a tough 6 months to a year of eating issues and falling out of love with training. - Sitting uncomfortably at 70kg, I’ve decided to share this (even though I’m not exactly over the moon with how I look at the moment) because I want more people to know that it’s okay to go off track sometimes 🙂 - This time around, I’m putting mental strength over physical strength and making sure I listen to my body. For example, all day I’ve fancied cake, so I came home from work, took the time to enjoy baking a cake, had a piece and then shared the rest with my friends. I haven’t trained today and I know I’ve eaten more than my recommended amount today but I don’t feel guilty because I know tomorrow I’ll happily get back on track. - But I must say, I am excited to see what muscle I’ve gained after all this eating and forcing myself to lift 🏋🏼‍♀️

Obsessed with fruit 😍 Hello again my loves! Feels like forever since I saw you last.. 🙈✨ School went good! In sport we “danced” with like a dancer which was super akward, haha 🐒 Anyways, just went home after school and made this snack : Fruit salad with yogurt, lastly topped with almonds & dark chocolate 🍌🍊 Then I took a shower, got ready and went to chorus ALONE, which.. Actually wasn’t that bad. I didn’t really talked with everyone, but I was less nervous than usual, which felt great ❤️ After that I just had dinner, made lunch for tomorrow, saw the last episode in a serie in the tv & had some dessert which is on my insta story, if you were curious ☕️ Now I will just write in my diary, and then go to bed.. Sleep tight my angels! 😇🌙

You know when you eat a ton of food and feel really full then associate that full feeling with being fat?⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s time to detatch this fullness/ bloated feeling as being fat. This thought is so negative. All you do is feel bad about yourself (body image, self control, decisions…) for the day and then the next day the fullness and bloat are gone and you feel fine. BUT still the next time you have this full feeling equate it to being fat.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This was a major thing for me for a long time. I would eat, feel full and beat myself up for eating so much, losing control, gaining all this weight/fat from that one meal (which, come on, we know that one meal did not do that!).⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are guilty of this, realize right now that full DOES NOT equal fat. If not, here's how to get on the right track without wasting time on bullshit. - You've gotta eat in a calorie deficit to burn body fat. While there are ways to turn your body into a fat burning machine and get better results (click the link in my bio 😉) a calorie deficit is what's gonna get that fat off. - You wanna eat enough protein to keep your muscle and build more. Minimum 1g per pound when in a deficit. - Wanna get more from your food than just a calorie count? Eat foods that walked on, swam in, flew over, or grew from the earth. Your body composition will thank you. - What built/builds muscle is what's gonna keep muscle. Lift heavy and keep getting stronger while in a deficit and you can keep your muscle if not build more. - Make sure you're getting a little more rest and a little more sleep when you're in a deficit. It is a stressor on the body, so prioritize rest. Train no more than 4 days a week and get at least 7 hours of sleep per night (9 is better.) - Know someone trying to get lean in a hurry? 406.0 lbs (184.2 kg) (1/16/2019). Today makes 4 months that I have been on this weight loss journey. On Sunday (1/13/2019), I weighed in at 374.8 lbs (170.0 kg), which means I have gained 31.2 lbs (14.2 kg) in 3 days. Obviously a lot of this is water weight, so I hope it will come off more easily. My doctor has told me in the past that my varicose veins (and my weight) are a large part of why I retain so much fluid. Prior to startong this journey, I would have to take prescription water pills, because even after a night of propping my feet up, I would still be very swollen in the mornings; but now I wake up each morning and the swelling is gone. As disappointed and disgusted as I am with myself for making the choice to eat all that food Monday, I am moving forward. J’ai connu la honte de dévaliser le frigo après m’être privé pendant des jours, j’ai connu la culpabilité d’avoir mangé la bouchée de trop, la peur intense de prendre du poids et l’euphorie d’en perdre. J’ai connu cette impression pesante que tout est trop dur y compris boire un verre d’eau. J’ai eu envie d’abandonner et j’ai abandonné plusieurs fois. J’ai connu la perte d’amis et je porte leur deuil aujourd’hui... Mais je connais des personnes qui croient en mes capacités, bienveillantes à mon refus de vivre, de lutter, mon épuisement et mon acharnement à me détruire. On m’a reproché de me complaire, de rechuter pour faire du mal. Je me suis sentie souvent incomprise et certainement qu’on ne pouvait pas parfaitement me comprendre. Mais certains ont essayé. Petit à petit j’essaie aujourd’hui de sortir des troubles du comportement alimentaire. Je savais ce que je perdais mais je ne savais pas ce que j’allais gagner. J’étais et je suis encore terrorisée, tout changer, tout chambouler c’est la peur de toute anorexique Tout n’est pas rose car on connaît tous les aléas du quotidien, ses hauts et ses bas mais je ne regrette pas ce combat. J’en apprends tous les jours sur moi et je me suis rends compte de mes ressources. Toi qui me lis et qui souffres, oui toi aussi tu as ces ressources, cet instinct de survie. Incline Bench Press Heavy Set . . After working up to 75 kg and getting 5 reps on my heavy set for the last few weeks I attempted 80kg today, I got 3 and a half reps out 😂 . I almost got that 4th rep, I think I can get 4 on my next session next week and I will continue with 80 kg untill I can can get 5 comfortable. . I also improved on set 2 and 3 going from 65kg for 6 on set 2 to 70 kg and 60 kg set 3 for 8 reps to 62.5kg. . It seems that Blue Monday has become blue week for a lot of us. I know I’ve definitely felt the effects (how is it only just Wednesday?!). I know a lot of others struggle with these January blues as well so these are my five top tips on how to reframe the blues: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✏️Write down your negative thoughts. 📝Now try to look for evidence for and against this thought. When people are feeling depressed they often “dampen” any positive thoughts or good things that happen in their life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📓Journal. Try pinpointing in one sentence what is your biggest problem. 🧠 Then brain dump various solutions in a way easiest for you to understand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👀 Visualise. ☀️ When you wake up in the morning, imagine your day going well. No matter what you have scheduled, put a positive outcome on it. 😴 When you go to bed, replay any positive events and if anything negative happened, imagine it as though it had gone well instead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✅ Practice Positive Thinking: Look for opportunities every day to change your thinking. You may wake up on Monday and think 💭 I don't want to go to work 💭. Instead switch it around and state three positive things such as: I'm grateful to have a job, I'm grateful to have a chance to develop etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🎢Some people can’t get past their perceived failures and get stuck in a viscous cycle of negative thinking, negative behavior and negative consequences. Learn to differentiate between things that resulted as a direct consequence of your own actions and those that were out of your control. Weekend baking with @myproteinuk vegan blend 🌱 inspired by @betterbeingsteph these banana cinnamon muffins are sooo tasty and can easily be made fully vegan 🙊🍌 . . Recipe: - 30g @myproteinuk vegan blend - 40g almond flour - 20g coconut flour - 1tsp baking powder - 2tsp cinnamon - 1tsp vanilla extract - 120g banana - 150g DF yoghurt - 30ml nut milk - 1 large egg (or substitute for vegan) . Mix banana, yoghurt, milk and egg with hand blender (mix less if you want so chunks of banana). I separate bowl mix all dry ingredients before whistling into the wet ones. Long read 🤓🤓 it’s about body image and you might find it boring or you might not 🤷🏻‍♀️ SO it’s happened. I’ve finally broken 80kg body weight. My initial feelings were pure devastation and disgrace because despite growing to love the powerlifting muscular frame, it’s still so deeply engrained in us that how much you weigh is a fucking massive deal. Cue meltdown ‘I’VE ALWAYS BEEN IN THE 75 CLASS I CAN’T GET HEAVIER, NO ONE ELSE IS GETTING HEAVIER, MY LIFE IS OVER I NEED TO DO CARDIO’ 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄 @coach_wodyn gave me a head wobble and restored my sanity by helping me realise a few things that have turned this weight meltdown upside down. A) my body likes training at this weight I’m the strongest I’ve ever been B) I’m 5ft 7 and the majority of lifters in my class are significantly smaller than me C) I’ve been in the 75kg class for 2 years and of course I’ve got stronger so as a result, built more muscle If I panic and start to cut which is my default when I reach about 78-79kg, my strength goes down along with my mood and productivity. The fact of the matter I suppose is that despite the scales saying something I may not be over the moon with... I am happy right now with training and with life and that’s all that matters isn’t it. The scales do not define you. ✌🏼❤️

Gain a little weight over the holiday period? Feeling a little overwhelmed by all the New Years resolutions you promised yourself or are thrown at you in the media? Tonight's dinner isn't anything special. It was a dinner for one tonight and I couldn't be bothered to cook 🙈 ▪ Pasta n Sauce - Chicken and Mushroom -- 0.5 syns made with 100ml milk from my hexa. ▪ I also cut and boiled a chicken breast and then I added this while the pasta was cooking. Havent posted in awhile cause i slipped off the wagon, 1 cheat day turned into 3.5 which caused some weight gain. I place a lot of importance on the number on the scale so when i saw some weight gain my thought process was "well go ahead and make it worse cause you already messed up" and therefore a little weight gain became a lot. So i went from 269lbs - 275lbs - and im now back down to 272lbs and working hard. I dont want to change my stats in my bio because in a day or two i will be there or lower. Im not giving up even if i slip up and fail. Weightloss is difficult when you have to make a new relationship with food, but its not impossible. This is a long journey and i will never stop trying for the rest of my life.
