Desde que empezó agosto, con la visita de mami y la llegada de @claudiaaraquev han sido 3 semanas de mucha comida en la calle, rica, pero no muy saludable; y ya mi cuerpo lo siente ☹️. Voy a mostrarles como “regreso a mi rutina” sin empezar un dieta estricta (ya he dado mi opinión sobre las dietas 🙅🏻‍♀️). Serves: 4 servings Ingredients * 1 pound fettuccine pasta * 2 heads of broccoli, chopped, about 3-4 cups * (4) 6-oz boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" cubes * 4 tablespoons butter * 3 cloves of garlic, grated or finely minced * 2 cups heavy cream * 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish * 2 tablespoons olive oil * salt and pepper *  Instructions 1. Bring a large pot of water to a bowl. Season the water with salt. 2. While waiting for the water to boil, heat a large skillet over medium high heat with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the broccoli, season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and cook the broccoli uncovered for 4 minutes until bright green. Add in ¼ cup water, and cook uncovered until the water has evaporated, and the broccoli is crisp tender. Transfer the cooked broccoli to a medium size bowl. 3. Add the fettuccine to the water, and cook according to manufacturers instructions. 4. In the same skillet you cooked the broccoli, heat another tablespoon of olive oil, and cook the chicken in an even layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked thru, turning the chicken several times. Morning Entry • I have heard bad things about good people. I’ve been taught to hate things that I love and love things that I hate... * You cannot and ultimately SHOULD not base how you go about your life off of something someone told you. I am not one to believe everything that I hear... on TV or in real life! For example: I was told that if I lift weights I would get ~too big~ I will be unattractive and therefor unworthy. So what did I do? Went to target and BOUGHT SOME GAHDAMN WEIGHTS. I will find out for myself if this makes me unworthy. Guess what.. it didn’t. I am more worthy in my eyes (which is all that matters) than I have ever been. I am stronger, faster, sturdier, healthier and most importantly happier! J’ai quand même respecté le jour de pesée. Et c’était aussi et surtout pour me donner ce nouveau point (poids?) de départ. Quand j’ai vu 88,5 je me suis ok assume. J’ai préparé mon petit déjeuner, j’ai pris ma douche et dans la salle de bain j’ai percuté un truc: quand j’ai connu mon mari il y a 12 ans je pesais 58kg. D’accord j’ai arrêté de fumer et j’ai eu 2 enfants. Mais j’ai pris 30 kilos en 12 ans. Et aussi je n’ai jamais pesé si lourd (hormis pendant ma 2ème grossesse) Donc ça ne peut plus durer, je l’ai décidé! Je sais que ce sera long et difficile mais je sais que j’en suis capable. Et je me dis que malgré ce poids j’ai quand « de la chance » parce que je suis en bonne santé. This week has been filled with a lot of HOLY FORK moments!😂😂 I’ve truly taken a step back from everything and just looked at these past few months and I just cannot believe I am here. Don’t get me wrong I’ve always believed in myself and i knew i could do this, but I didn’t know it would feel like this. I didn’t know I would be overwhelmed with all this love and support from people I love. I didn’t know I would make some life long friendships because of this journey. I didn’t know 3 years ago sitting on the back porch with my best friend talking about how I needed to change my life and get more serious about my job that it would lead me here. All those moments added up to get me exactly where I am today. All the tears and the anxiety and the battles of mental health. Every bad day and every good day added up to get me exactly where I am. And I wouldn’t change a single minute of it. If you’re in a bad place right now just trust me when I say it will get better! Three years ago vs last weekend. Sometimes I can’t tell how much progress I’ve made by just comparing pictures. Luckily, I used MyFitnessPal every once in a while back in the day and the weight I logged in July of 2015 tells me I’m 56lbs lighter now. I’d love to know what my measurements were then!! It’s important to track your inches: because the scale isn’t the ”end all, be all” of this journey. Take the pictures & take the measurements! For my lunch today I had a salmon fishcake from @aldi_ireland with some stir fried onions, orange peppers and mange tout. I tossed them in a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce to add a little flavour and they were delicious. These fishcakes are the salmon ones with spinach and sicilian lemon. I'm backkkkk! We have recently had a big change, moved from the city to the country and changed jobs, so it's been hectic but slowly all falling into place. Just imagine stepping on a scale and this happens 😂😂😂😂. I remember the fist day dad bought me a bathroom scale, I had fear for scale those days and was having a hard time weighing any time I go to the hospital. The scale was written 150 kg to be maximum... I just asked myself what if am beyond 150? Does it mean I will need that huge scale they use in weighing big bags of rice in the market? 😁 It was too scarry. I stepped on it and say 136 kg.... The kind of depression I got that day was too much to handle!? Started asking myself how did this happen? Why let myself get here? Like seriously!!! I only have 14 kg to get to scale the maximum!.... I knew it right there that it is time to take a step... Last day at the beachhyyy 😪 I'm taking a rest day today so I can spend as much time on the beach as possible. I will be resting tomorrow too since I'll be in the car all day. I feel like a two day break from the weights at the end of this vacation is perfect for me to jump right back in to it when I get home from vacation. I'm ready to start lifting heavier for my goals and getting right back on track with my routine and setting bigger and better goals for myself and my body as soon as I get home!🌟

Ashley ( @ashafer1583 ) joined our challenge earlier this year and below is her experience with the Remedy Reset 🔹🔹🔹 My name is Ashley Shafer. I wanted to give some feedback to the Remedy Health and Wellness Challenge I was privileged  to join last spring. My goals were to expand my knowledge of nutrition, with the intent of eating for performance. I also wanted to have more insight of how my vegetarian lifestyle could become more balanced and dialed in for athletic performance. Lastly, I wanted accountability. I needed accountability and I wanted to connect with members of my gym and belong to an empowering group of people. I was overwhelmed with the wealth of knowledge that Kyla provided for each member and the group as a whole. Jason and Kyla both were professional, encouraging, supportive and knowledgeable individuals. The private page where our group could post daily on our victories, questions, encouragement and moments of struggles was a great way to have accountability and support. Kyla and Jason were actively involved everyday and available to answer any questions and provide daily information to help us all reach our goals. Whether you are looking for weight loss, muscle gain, dialing in your nutrition, or simply connecting with a positive encouraging group of people, everyone can benefit from this program. I hold Remedy Health and Wellness in the highest regards and hope as many people get the opportunity to join for their next challenge.
