We are having dinner for lunch today as wifey is home from work and we are both starving. So 2 Chinese pork steaks (fat will be removed), egg fried rice with spring onion and yellow pepper and Thai spiced stir fried carrots and broccoli. I weighed myself this morning. First time in months. And like yolo. My body is beautiful, I started wanting to lose weight because at the time my hubby was in a wheelchair mostly, and pushing him left me out of breath in just minutes. So over 1 years times, I lost 50lbs got to my lost of 198lbs for this journey, and I’ve gained like 14lbs back. I’m struggling right now, being body positive, but also wanting to lose the weight. Like who am I?

STOP LIVING YOUR LIFE IN A FOG What I've learned & continue to learn is that when I feel comfortable in my life it's time get UNCOMFORTABLE. Feeling comfortable makes me feel unfulfilled, stagnant & life is band. Maybe you have experienced this too? Here's the thing: being uncomfortable is GROWTH. I often have conversations with people who are way too comfortable in their life but are often stuck in their limitations. They crave change with their body, their life, their relationship and yet their FEAR TRUMPS THEIR DESIRES. Don't think I am free of this either. Just a few weeks ago I challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and guess what? Those damn fear gremlins got me. But guess what? I decided to look at this situation as a growing opportunity. I know that fear, knee jerk, reactive decision I made was given to me as a LESSON. NOT a reason to quit. You know that puke button feeling you get when you feel like you're taking a risk? I had that and that's why I know I have to attempt this "risk" again. Everytime you take a risk, your circle of comfort gets BIGGER. And in turn, your growth & goals become BIGGER than your fear. That's a CONSCIOUS DECISION. I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU 👉Assess your current life and how COMFORTABLE you are. If there isn't 1 thing that you are doing that freaks you out and makes you want puke or poop your pants ……... that’s a HUGE problem. Why? This means… you’re not challenging yourself to grow & fulfilling your potential in your life. You’re stagnant and REGRESSING! YOUR CHALLENGE: 👉TODAY, I want YOU to do something you haven't done before. Here are something I've done recently to break this feeling of comfortability: Here are some uncomfortable things I've done lately: 👉Quit my 12 year government career. 👉Left the city life for small town living. 👉Hired 3 business coaches 👉Jumped out of a plane. 👉Hired an NLP coach 👉Asking for what I want, not what I think I should have. 👉Sharing my painful stories on podcast interviews. 💪let's LOSE 12 POUNDS in 21 DAYS ??💪 👆👆Link ON BIO👆👆 . @bigjonevans My name is Jon Evans and this is my transformation story. On May 31st of 2015 I weighed in at 570lbs. I started on June 1st 2015 and within 90 days I had lost 103lbs. About that same time my personal trainer was in a bad accident which left him unable to train anymore. Instead of taking the easy way out (quitting) I switched to functional fitness (think Crossfit). As of Sept 14th I’ve lost 236lbs and currently weigh 334lbs. I still have about 70 more lbs to lose to get to my goal weight but I’m headed the right direction. Now my goal is to have as many one on one conversations as possible with folks that need to lose large amounts of weight and help them get started on that journey. Mid-week reflections! 🌸✨ I’ve made it so far and I haven’t even scratched the surface yet. A few reminders to finish the week strong, paraphrased but originally by @morganharpernichols : 1. I don’t have to sort through everything in my mind today in order to be okay, take each moment breath by breath 2. I can still listen to music or read a book or have a look outside even with a crowded mind 3. I can still make something new that is honest and meaningful even if it is only ever seen by me 4. I am allowed to think and feel and dream today… even before things fall into place 5. I am going to be ok, despite that life is not perfect

I set myself some goals earlier this week and shared it with the ladies in my Group, and two of them were to go for a Walk and listen to some Personal Development. I have done that every day since Monday and I'm loving it so far. An unexpected plus however is that I am constantly drinking water while walking so I get almost half my daily Water Goal in! I can really tell the difference since I focused on drinking more water and it's brilliant for keeping my body in check. Do you know how much water you should be drinking daily? *Drinking water also helps you crush your Step Goals, because you will be heading to the 🚽 a lot. at Milton Keynes

Ich könnte jetzt auch so tun, als ob ich schon fast am Ziel wäre und da garkein Schwabbel mehr an meinem Bauch ist. Geschweige denn unschöne Streifen. Denn diese Insta-Welt ist doch immer einfach nur voll von schön, bling-bling, Fitnessmodels mit Traumkörpern und Foodbabys, voll von Scheinwelt und Lifestyle. Ich könnte mich aber auch einfach da hinsetzen und sagen: Ich habe gerade eine halbe Stunde Workout gepackt, endlich mal wieder. Weil da noch immer 10 bis 15 kg weg müssen, der Gesundheit zu liebe. Und für ein T-Shirt war mir einfach zu warm in der Wohnung. Und ich könnte Euch sagen: Wenn Du nichts änderst, ändert sich nichts. Denn das ist die Wahrheit. Packen wir es an 💪🏽

I remember that girl in the pink. Scared, unsure of myself, full of doubt, low self esteem, and wouldn't dare work out on the main floor of the gym with weights because I had no clue what to do. I hid in classes because I was ashamed of my body. I'm still not at my goal but I know one thing I have my confidence back and I kill it in the gym on most days. Yummy home made treats, slowly trying to replace any fatty or sugary baking products with healthier alternatives. This time I used coconut oil instead of butter and halved the brown sugar and replaced with honey. Still tastes really good so next step is replacing the sugar completely and then working out macros 🙌🏻

Before meets After with this 5 Ingredient Lunch 🤗 Because simple, easy and delicious are a total win. I love this combination because I get plenty of volume from the veggies & the large of amount of protein leaves me feeling full. . What you need: 1 large zucchini 1 cup mushrooms, cut in half 1 cup organic marinara sauce 6oz pasture-raised chicken 1.5 tsp olive oil sea salt & pepper . What you do: 1 - Use a spiralizer to turn the zucchini into noodle like shapes (I love the Paderno brand) 2 - Heat up a grill (or pan) for the chicken 3 - Cover the chicken in olive oil spray & seasoning & place on the grill (on medium low). 4 - After about 9 minutes, flip the chicken over and grill for another 6-8 min. Set asside 4 - Coat 2 separate pans with olive oil spray to cook the zoodles & mushrooms. 5 - Flash cook the zoodles with marinara sauce (not too long) & cook the mushrooms with 1.5 tsp olive, sea salt & pepper until the mushrooms are soft.
