Balance and stability are extremely important in injury prevention and rehab. We live our life moving in different directions, on different surfaces (like grass, gravel, cement), so our legs and joints have to be prepared for any curve balls that are thrown at us! — When we walk, we are on one leg for a period of time before the other heel strikes the ground. Single leg balance accounts for about 40% of a “walking cycle” so it is important to practice it! — The single leg balance exercise, on a flat surface, may be simple and easy for some of you...but how often in life are you ACTUALLY focusing on balancing on one leg in a completely still position? Probably NEVER, unless you do this exercise. The other variations of this single leg stance (SLS) exercise are very important because they challenge your body and brain in more realistic ways...on an uneven surface, when your vision is obstructed and not completely fixed, when other parts of your body are moving. I met with my accountability coach the other day to go over my weeks accomplishments. I had to pivot from certain goals due to the results of my teaching exercises to my students/mentees. I decided, well, my spirit team and I have decided for me to become the subject of these spirit releasment exercises, mainly what people would refer to as exorcisms. Please do not try this at home unless you are with a trained shaman, priest and healer with gifts to travel through different dimensions and realities. To master a subject, sometimes one must become the subject. I can shatter my soul into shards but also retrieve them from back if needed. Everyone is settling in after the first week on the farm. Although Jeremy and I are taking turns transporting loads from Eugene, these two are adjusting to their new routine. It’s okay to make mistakes. When we learn to walk we don’t give up because we fell down the first time. Instead we keep trying until eventually we can. As we grow up, so many of us give up this fearless determination, which we all once had. There are many reasons why but I know for me personally I am scared of making mistakes, I have a fear of failure and fear what everyone else will think. This quote reminds us that it is okay to fail. It is okay to make mistakes and learn from them. Sometimes we fail many times but eventually succeed. So next time you want to give something you are worried about a go, do it and remember even if you fail, keep trying until you succeed 💕

Every word that you speak is a spell. . Do you use words to describe yourself like radiant, juicy, strong, healthy, skillful, intelligent? Do you affirm daily that you are a being of clarity, heightened awareness + high vibes? . You are what YOU say you are. You become what YOU believe you will. Your life is 100% up to YOU. . You may have a mean inner critic that has become the voice you know best, your own. It's all the voices that ever spoke an ill word over you that you bought into + have made your truth. . There is nothing you cannot be, do or have, no matter your current circumstance. If you've been beaten down by life or other people, you can change your trajectory + become more. . It's tempting to stay small + believe that things happen to us + not for us or because of us, but it won't lead us to victory, only victimhood. . Victimhood (dictionary.com) is a person who is deceived or cheated, as by his or her own emotions or ignorance, by the dishonesty of others, or by some impersonal agency: a victim of misplaced confidence; the victim of a swindler; a victim of an optical illusion. . This isn't to say that we're not, at times, victims of horrible acts. It happens too often that people abuse their power + take what isn't theirs to take. . But a life filled with joy, love + prosperity all begins with the words you use to describe yourself, your life + story, where your headed, what you're going to accomplish, + what you're ready to overcome, it's amplified by those you surround yourself with (especially your most intimate circles), it's nourished by the thoughts + beliefs that you carry about yourself + your vision, and it's brought into existence by visualizing it + feeling it as if it's already yours. Magnetize it with thankfulness, for what you desire has already transpired. Speak it out loud + as often as possible. . Your belief in what's possible for you is what makes it so. Trust the process, do the work, shift your mindset, live in integrity in word + deed, and remove yourself from any circle that isn't lifting you higher. You can love the people you love but if they keep you from your goals, dreams + vision~ love them from a distance.

I was trained towardsnegative thinking & being a perfectionist. So my thoughts can, defy me frequently. So I always tell people “When my thoughts don’t work, I fill my head with positive thoughts.” - Me I don't watch TV.  I rent movies, once in a while.  Currently I go through 1 audiobook every 1 to 2 weeks.  I love my motivation Mondays. Look at that glow! 🤩⁣ ⁣ One of the first changes that I noticed, when I started eating cleaner, drinking more water, and drinking my superfoods shake- was my skin!⁣ ⁣ It just looked healthier. I didn’t look sickly pale, it felt softer, and I noticed significantly less acne breakouts! ⁣ ⁣ I don’t wear makeup. However, I noticed that after I got married and had children, that my acne became worse than it was when I was in high school. 😩 And that became a self esteem issue. So I would wear concealer. But still felt self conscious, because I needed it!⁣ ⁣ I still have breakouts- right when my hormones start getting out of whack. But they go away a lot quicker with my skin not being so oily and dry anymore! 👈🏻 All because I changed the way I eat and started putting healthier things into my body and eliminating the junk!⁣ ⁣ Your body is effected in so many different ways when you don’t take care of it and fuel it properly! ⁣ ⁣ Want healthier skin? STOP SCROLLING ✋ IF YOU'RE STRUGGLING RIGHT NOW READ THIS TO THE BOTTOM 👇⁣ ⁣ So ... it's though to admit, but I've got a few extra pounds on me than I did last year. ⁣ ⁣ My clothes don't fit the way they used to and it's hard not to be sad about that. ⁣ ⁣ I also "feel like" this image would be easier to share if I wasn't single. ⁣ ⁣ As a single person, I feel pressure to be seen as attractive, healthy and desirable. That I "have my shit together" and I'm not broken, damaged or defective. ⁣ ⁣ I know in posting this there's a chance a man might see this and think... ⁣ ⁣ "Would you look at that. Wow, she has really let herself go. What a slob. Clearly, she has no self control. What's wrong with her? I knew she'd gain it all back again." ⁣ ⁣ (SPOILER ALERT: I don't want a man that would think these things about me anyway).⁣ ⁣ Honestly though, writing this has made me realise... ⁣ ⁣ It's not so much a man's judgements I fear. What I really fear is that these are actually the judgements I have of myself, just sneakily disguised as someone else's. 💔⁣ ⁣ Today, I am taking my power back! 💪⁣ I get to decide what is TRUTH for me. ⁣ ⁣ ❤ What is true is that I am a human being. ⁣ ❤ I am on my journey and that's ok!⁣ ❤ I am learning more about myself everyday. ⁣ ⁣ What I've learned is that everyone struggles with SOMETHING from time to time. ⁣ ⁣ Some of these struggles are easier to hide than others and what I am struggling with right now just happens to manifest as something you can easily see. ⁣ ⁣ What I see is that I have a 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 in how I view this struggle. Workout for yourself. Not to fit societies standards. Or to fit into your “when I’m 5 pounds lighter” jeans. But to give you endorphins. To keep this vessel that carries up through life safe. To keep our beautiful and amazing minds healthy. ✨ Yoga has helped me to release this burden. And when I say I ugly cried about this at my teacher training, I’d say that’d be an understatement. It’s a journey, but I feel this one is coming to a close. I mean, the fact that I was able to laugh and find myself sexy after I ripped my damn thick jeans, shows a lot of growth 😂☝🏻

I guess the 🌟universe 🌟was trying to teach me stillness? To slow down? To appreciate my body? ... I sliced my thumb almost two weeks ago and had to get 5 stitches 🩸 🩹 This put my 🧘🏼‍♀️on pause. ⠀⠀ Today I jumped back in to a flow with @adrienelouise and she had me sweating within 15 mins! So good to be back.
