So I didn’t realize this but I forgot my camera battery, so was unable to post this morning. Never fear tho because my hubby always comes to the rescue. 💪🏽 He was able to save the day by remembering to bring it along with him after work. Grateful to him for helping to end a crazy and hectic week on a positive note. 🙂 And with all that craziness behind, I can now get back to messages that have been collecting dust. If you’ve been waiting for a response, I will likely be getting to them now. Apologies for delays. If you haven’t gotten a response from me feel free to also resubmit a DM or comment. I’ll be able to see them now. ☺️ . For dinner, needed the ease of a quick stirfry. Often you’ll see me sweeten these stirfries with a little maple syrup, but if that’s not your thing, I also very much enjoy these bowls sweetened with a little citrus juice instead. Orange juice is a typical go to since it’s sweet and a good pick me up to freshen dishes like this. So I sautéed some onion and mushroom then added 2 tsps minced garlic, 1/2 tsp ginger powder, 2 tsp dry basil, zucchini and cannelini beans. Sauté allowing zucchini to slightly soften before adding 1 tbsp soy sauce, fresh spinach and 2 tsp sriracha. Stir to combine and allow liquid to cook off. Remove from heat and either add a tbsp of maple syrup or opt of a squeeze of citrus to lighten the dish. Really love some fresh orange juice in this. Adjust seasonings as desired. 💯💯🔥🔥

Lately I've started my weekend with an episode of @the.healthcode, (do yourself a favour and listen to just one episode! 😍) I make myself a cup of coffee and spend time surrounded by my family, eating wholesome foods and walking in the sunshine at the farmers markets 🙏🏽 . I use this TAHINI CUMIN DRESSING on roasted veggies, salads, rice dishes even on a veggie pasta! It’s so versatile and with a little added calcium boost from the tahini it a great little addition to any dish. Amanda x Here is what you’ll need : * 80g hulled white tahini * 90mL extra-virgin olive oil * 75mL lemon juice * 2 tbsp raw honey * ½ clove garlic, crushed * ½ tsp ground cumin * ½ tsp sea salt 1. Add all ingredients to glass jar, put lid on and give it a good shake. Make sure you shake it until honey has completely broken up and combined with other ingredients. 2. Tonight’s dinner was inspired by tomorrow’s plans. I’m planning to attend 3 social events tomorrow, all 3 will revolve around food. Tonight’s dinner needed to be light. Also, in anticipation of tomorrow’s events, I got a fresh manicure and I wanted to keep it fresh😊 Tonight’s dinner needed to be nearly effortless. Here’s what I came up with. I sautéed 1/2 a bag of chopped kale in avocado oil with 1/2 a small chopped red onion and 1 clove of garlic, drizzled it with lemon juice and topped it with some sliced leftover chicken. Served with a side of leftover humus. No complaints and I am definitely off the dishes duty. #nofrillsmeals #intuitivecooking

Summer mealtime with the boys on break can get tricky. We biked in the a.m. and for lunch figured out what to do with this last bit of leftover chilli. It wasn't enough for a family meal. Just enough for one serving. Ive never been a huge fan of leftovers but I hate food waste. So I turned this into something new by adding a sliced baked potato, chopped kale, cabbage and chilli flakes for some heat. Came together nicely and tasted satisfying. ✨Just an idea for leftover stews and soups...throw a spud on top! How do you keep fit and focused on healthy eating during summer months?

Típicamente, sus frutas son cítricas y están repleticas de Vitamina C y A, que nos ayudan a proteger nuestra piel y huesos, y previenen el cáncer. Según el señor Google y mi tía la doctora 👩🏻‍⚕️, se recomiendan en personas con psoriasis, estrías, artritis, y problemas digestivos. . Mi fruta naranja favorita está a decidir, porque me encantan la lechosa y el melocotón 🤤 Pero ahora estoy en un dilema porque estoy empezando a sanar mi relación de amor-odio con la toronja y me está empezando a encantar. Hoy me comí una que estabaaaa 🤤😍🤩 To die for! Y le tomé fotitos pa’ compartirla por acá por el #TKIColorChallenge2019. La grillé en la plancha de la estufa con solo una pizquita (literalmente, muy poco) de azúcar morena para caramelizarla, y luego la acompañé de una cucharada de mesa de yogurt de melocotón🍑, canela y miel🍯 Merendé como la ma’ mejor 😍🙈 .
