SOUP 🍲 of the week 💕Zuppa Toscana ✅ 4-5 Med Potatoes ✅ 1.5-2 lbs of Hot ITALIAN Sausage ✅ A bunch of Kale ✅ 1 pint of heavy whipped cream ✅ head of garlic ✅ one medium onion Start by sautéing the garlic & onion, finely chopped. Add in some salt and pepper. Set aside. Fry the Italian Sausage in the skillet, pat down the grease when finished. Meanwhile, put 10-12 cups of water to boil, once boiled add in diced potatoes for soup. Side Note:Either add in bouillon for flavoring, make your own chicken broth or use half water and half broth for your soup base. Once potatoes are almost done, add in onion, garlic and Italian sausage & get it to boil. Simmer the soup, keep on low. Add Salt and Pepper to Taste. ALMOST LAST STEP: Add 1 Cup of Heavy Whip into the soup & mix. I keep the kale out of the soup and add individually so it doesn’t wilt over time. Eat & Serve & Save

Weekly cookies 🙌🏻 This recipe is so easy, all you need is 1 can chickpeas, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of honey or rice malt syrup and blend well in food processor then add in whatever fillings you like ( nuts, berries, chocolate) Then bake them for around 15-20. Who has tried them!? This week I️ added a little cinnamon and a handful of walnuts and they were so good 🤤

#HomeMadeFitFood with @sugarfreesundays: Quinoa and Oats Half and Half Porridge. _______________________ "While I would love to be munching on bowls of pure quinoa for breakfast, my student budget just doesn’t stretch quite that far 🙅🏻‍♀ . That’s when I came up with the idea to mix quinoa and oats half and half, resulting in a porridge that is both creamy from the oats and a bit crunchy from quinoa grains. Cook this merry mixture in coconut milk, and you have the most delicious breakfast porridge. 🥥 . Quick note on the health benefits of quinoa: gluten free, low GI ‘super-seed’ that is a complete protein (meaning it contains all 9 essential amino acids). . With regards to nutrition – I would usually add protein powder and peanut butter/roasted seeds to my oats, so that my breakfast has carbohydrates, protein and fats. But what I really like about this recipe is that you get the carbs from the oats and banana, protein from the quinoa and fat from the coconut milk it is cooked in. Any further adjustments can be made by what you choose to add as toppings. FOR THE PORRIDGE: * ½ cup dry quinoa * ½ cup gluten free oats * ½ cup coconut milk * Vanilla essence * Cinnamon * Pinch of salt * FOR THE TOPPING: * ½ banana, chopped * 5 almonds, chopped and roasted * Dried cranberries * Blueberries * Maple flavoured xylitol syrup . DIRECTIONS Cook the quinoa in some salted simmering water for 10 minutes. Add oats, coconut milk, cinnamon, vanilla essence and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 5-8 minutes until cooked. Add toppings and drizzle with some more coconut milk if desired. Making friends with salad 😏 Grab a bag of mixed lettuce leaves, tomatoes and your protein of choice, i’ve used Thai marinated tofu. Then roast some chickpeas in the oven with paprika/olive oil/salt and pepper & roast some butternut pumpkin untill golden brown also. While that’s cooking, fry some pine nuts and walnuts on the stove with a little bit of @niulife teriyaki sauce ( this is so good please try this!) once it’s all ready, make the dressing which is just olive oil, honey and apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper 🙌🏻Then prior to serving, add in some feta and the dressing 👌🏻

Garlic Lemon Chickpeas. Ohhh how I adore you. Seriously, this dish changed the plant-based game for me. . I first tried it during the @bevegan__ Parasite Cleanse I did in September/October. The cleanse calls for a diet full of clean-unprocessed vegan food, & zero grains -- all while drinking a parasite killing, digestive, daily herbal infusion/tea that tastes so bitter it’s deemed to only be tolerable by “herbal gangsters” (which I happen to be 😇) . Anyway, this with a side of stir fried broccoli, caramelized onions, & mushrooms sauteed in garlic coconut aminos is just 🤩 Even now that I’m off the cleanse, this remains as one of my staples because it’s so yummy, very high in protein & fiber, and if you’re eating plant-based, it tastes like a soul food potato garlic lemon dinner. I’m actually salivating…

Southwest Zucchini Noodle Mason Jar Salad with Avocado Dressing . . . Avocado Dressing Ingredients: . 1 ripe avocado 1 (5.3-oz) container plain fat-free Greek yogurt 2 Tbsp. sliced green onions ½ jalapeno, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced ¼ cup light sour cream handful cilantro (about ¼ cup) 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice ⅛ tsp. pepper ¼ tsp. salt . Mason Jar Salad Ingredients: . cauliflower, chopped cooked chicken, diced black beans, drained and rinsed tomatoes, chopped spiralized zucchini . Instructions: . 1)Blend all the ingredients listed for the avocado dressing in a blender: avocado, yogurt, green onions, jalapeño, garlic, sour cream, cilantro, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Blend until combined and creamy. . 2)Pour dressing into bottom of Mason jars. The amount of jars you will fill depends on how much dressing you want in your mason jar salad. . 3)Place vegetables on top of avocado dressing in the order listed: cauliflower, chicken, black beans, tomatoes, spiralized zucchini. Place lid on top and refrigerate until ready to eat. Can eat straight from the jar or dump out into a bowl. Da ich in eine Schule gehe, bin ich oft zu faul um mir am Morgen Frühstück zu machen, deswegen bereite ich oft den Smoothie am Abend davor zu und gieße das ganze in einem Shaker. Das ist easy zum mitnehmen, gesund und bereitet dir keinen Aufwand :) Hier ein Rezept für eine grüne Smoothie Bowl: 1 Handvoll baby Spinat 1 Banane 65g Beeren (Ich nehme immer die Tiefkühl-Variante) 200g fettarmer Naturjoghurt 125ml fettarme Milch 1 TL Spirulina Pulver nach belieben (Die Alge wird der Kategorie Superfood zugeordnet. Spirulina hat ein wahres Füllhorn an Nähr- und Vitalstoffen, verfügt über unzählige Enzyme, weist einen hohen Chlorophyllgehalt auf und zeigt insgesamt eine basische Wirkung auf den Organismus. Toppings: 30g Müsli 1 1/2 TL Goji-Beeren (Superfood) 2 TL Chia Samen Spinat, Banane, Erdbeeren, Joghurt, Milch und Spirulina Pulver in einem Hochleistungsmixer glatt pürieren. Zum Servieren den Smoothie mit den Toppings Servieren. English recipe: 1 handful of baby spinach 1 banana 65g berries (I do always take the frozen version) 200g low-fat yoghurt 125ml low-fat milk 1 teaspoon Spirulina powder as you like (The alga is classified as superfood. It's about time for another #veganeats post.. it has been far too long. Here we have a delicious, vegan, veggie sandwich that I am STILL not tired of 😋⠀ ⠀ The bread is a sprouted whole grain from Sprouts which provides the majority of the protein- about 14 grams total. The avocado provides some healthy fats and the veggies provide a ton of fiber, antioxidants and some carbohydrates. Oh and I used some everything hummus in here, too!⠀- @sierrathenutritionist

I think I’m gonna turn yellow from the amount of turmeric I’ve eaten today 😂 Double dosing on the anti-inflammatory foods. This is my old faithful 🙌🏻 On the stove top, I boil 2 cups almond milk, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, a pinch of black pepper, pinch of nutmeg and a dash of honey. Then I let simmer and mix together until nice and warm ✨

I’m so excited that hemp seeds are now finally legal in Australia 🙌🏻 Woohoo. I’m not normally a fan of protein powders cause often they are highly processed and have a bunch of ingredients we don’t really need. However, I’m stoked to have found @myhemple not only is their team AMAZING and genuine (Georgia you’re the best 😏) but their protein is as natural as it comes 🙌🏻 Hemp seeds are ridiculously nutritious and rich in healthy fats, protein and various minerals. I could get super sciencey right now and rant about all the benefits... but here’s a quick little summary. Hemp seeds are essentially 30% fat ( WE LOVE HEALTHY FATS) super high in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3).Then loaded with vitamin E, & minerals phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc. But my favourite part is that I can digest it so well, often pea proteins/rice proteins or even whey make me super bloated and my body cannot digest properly 🙈This smoothies has almond milk, banana, hemp protein, spinach, frozen zucchini ( try this), peanut butter and ice 🤗

I’ve spoken before about how social media often can be very faked and staged, it’s just really important to understand what’s authentic and what’s not. Here’s the perfect example. I took a sip of this smoothie and actually dribbled it all down the front of my top, so I just held the cup in front of the dribble for the photo 😂. Oh and I’m not wearing pants either. Just keeping it real 😏
