💚 Fava bean Friday! 💚 Is that a thing? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Shall we make it a thing? 🙄 It should be a thing, because this dish is delish! 😋 Fresh Spring flavours choc full of fibre and green goodness 🌱🌱🌱 Simply melt a generous blob of ghee or grass fed butter or coconut oil over medium heat. Sauté half an onion until soft. Add a bag of deshelled fava beans aka broad beans. Add some fresh or frozen peas. Stir for about 5 minutes. Add fresh lemon juice, a small bunch of chopped fresh mint, some chili flakes and salt and pepper to taste. Ta-da! Easy peasy. You could have this as a side dish and it would go really well with fish, roast chicken or lamb, but I enjoyed a bowl big enough for a family of 4 all on my own as a main 🤗 For peeps in Cape Town: organic broad beans are in season and available deshelled at Spar in Sea Point 😊✌🏽 at Cape Town, Western Cape

This chocolate milkshake is so delicious, I have to share the recipe! I'm using a new chocolate protein called ezyprotein, which is wholegrain brown rice protein. It has only 4 ingredients and is 76.7g protein per 100g. Not massively chocolatey, but great if you don't want something too strong. I've added cacao powder too. 1 banana 🍌 500ml coconut/almond milk (I used 50:50) 1 dessert 🥄 @ezyprotein.eu 1 dessert 🥄 maca powder 1 dessert 🥄 cacao powder 1\2 tsp cinnamon I've sprinkled chia seeds, cinnamon & ground flax on top and added a few pomegranate seeds too. #lunchscene Garlic chilli cheese toast & a put-together-in-a-hurry Bruschetta on brown bread..paired with a simple tomato soup with basil oil. Devoured within minutes, crumbs polished by my 🐕🐕 By all means one of the #simplerecipes one resorts to; nothing special about it per se..but it does signify that my short leave of absence is now over and I'm back on track with the cooking & hopefully soon the gym💪 too! So I've moved into a new place and it took nearly 2 weeks of crazy to make it something that resembles a home. Lunch was a trial run of my new OTG that had arrived a month ago and hadn't till a few days ago seen the outside world. Bonjour! 😍✌ Heute möchte ich mal darauf aufmerksam machen, wie viel es auf Fotos ausmachen kann, ob man anspannt oder eben nicht. Zwischen den abgebildeten Fotos liegen nur wenige Sekunden - man könnte es auch als vorher nachher Foto eines völlig überteuerten Fitnessprogramms nutzen, wie es ja gar nicht mal so unüblich ist hier auf Instagram. Worauf ich hinaus möchte: lasst euch nicht über den Tisch ziehen und kauft diese dämlichen Programme nicht. Trainiert mit schweren Gewichten, geht an eure Grenzen, esst genügend Proteine und nicht zu viel Fett und achtet auf eure Kalorienzufuhr. Aber: esst bloß nicht zu wenig!! Die Mikronährstoffe können nur bei ausreichend Kalorien abgedeckt werden. Außerdem kann ein dauerhaft zu hohes Defizit die Laune und das Energielevel maßgeblich beeinträchtigen. Achtet darauf, was euch gut tut und stellt eure (körperliche wie mentale) Gesundheit bitte immer an die erste Stelle. Super salted 'caramel' banana ice cream, this legit so tasty!!! Just blend 2 frozen banana's with 1/2 tsp maca powder, a sprinkle of cinnamon, a pinch of salt and a couple of dates. Then put in a bowl and swirl in date syrup. Top with mulberries, cacao nibs and a tiny bit more salt. Healthy indulgence at it's peak :)

Estou a preparar uma coisa especial para vocês onde vai estar esta receita. Mas posso dizer que estas papas de aveia são de abóbora e leite de amêndoa da @myshoyce. Na aveia usei também maca da @iswariofficial, assim como os toppings - pepitas de cacau, sementes de cânhamo e linhaça moída. Tudo da @iswariofficial. E claro, não podia faltar a manteiga de amêndoa 😋 Só vos digo que este pequeno almoço sabe a sobremesa!

Σούπερ συνταγή για ντόνατς με @matchaninja.gr 💚😱 ・・・ TGIF ✌🏼and doughnut recipe time! #glutenfree, #vegan and #wholesome, we couldn't ask for more 🍩 🌱For the doughnuts: 2 tbsp chia seeds (mixed with 6 tbsp water) 2 tbs coconut oil 1 cup almond milk 1,5 scoops gluten free pancake mix (you can make your own with rice, oat and buckwheat flour or try a vegan and entirely natural blend like @omgdetox ) Mix all ingredients together and pour the dough into doughnut pans. Bake at 200C for about 10 minutes on each side or until the toothpick comes out dry. 🌱For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar (you can DIY this too, recipe soon😜) 2 tbsp water 💦 1-2 tsp Matcha Ninja Mix all ingredients together until smooth glaze forms. Dip cooled doughnuts in glaze and let set. I don’t know about you, but I could definitely go a good stretch this weekend! I’m one of those easily stressed people, which manifests both internally (hello had digestion!) and externally (tight back, tight hip flexors). So a good, slow round of sun salutes, full forwards stretch and downward dogs can do a world of good for me; not just for the back and legs, but for the brain (and sanity!). I think the best thing to remember about “relaxation” and “meditation”, is that it actually doesn’t look like anything in particular and it doesn’t have to be anything in particular. What I mean by this is that, it doesn’t have to be the stigma.
