I usually go on a run 🏃🏼‍♀️ on Mondays but unfortunately the weather here isn’t looking great. So instead I did an indoor workout with no equipment! Alot of my workouts are done at home instead of a gym. You can get fit anywhere which means there is no excuse! In two of my videos I used a resistance band, but all of these workouts can be done without any bands. Week 4 and I am still pushing myself to make time for fitness! If I can do it so can you! There are two types of people in this world: the type of people that order off of a menu without looking at the prices, and the type of people who see prices first and pick from their budgeted meal allowance 🤷🏻‍♀️ WHICH TYPE ARE YOU? Well ... normally I would elated my baby girl was such a “good sleeper” ... . . We’ve been a little busy the last few days and naps have not been on the forefront of our minds. BUT for a #cerebralpalsy warrior with #epilepsy our best control is sleep! . . Today at therapy I couldn’t awaken my Millie for what felt like forever. At first I thought wow she really needed a nap, but then I saw her eyes flickering and hand contracting. . . #seizures suck and when you’re only 5 and unable to communicate exactly what you’re experiencing it’s horrible. This is our real life. The imperfect parts and all. . . Together the therapist and I got her perked back up. She had horrible balance and was not herself, but she is a fighter in all the sense of the word. . . A few falls here and there ... less strength and poor balance post-ictal is to be expected. . . Moral of the story. Monday mornings can be so hard. Especially after a beautiful weekend. Mondays can also be the start of something new. New week. New program. New goals. If today's workout is any indication of how this program is gonna go.  Holy 💩. I may have had to pause to pick up some of the moves. It may have taken me a little bit longer to complete. They say abs are made in the kitchen 🍽 is this what they mean 🤷🏻‍♀️. I do my workouts everyday 20-30 minutes in my kitchen while the kids 👶🏻👦🏼 play and dinner 🥘 is cooking! I don’t have to leave my house 🏡 and take care of me 💪🏼 feeling stronger everyday and loving every second of it! Il faut arrêter de craindre l'inconnu et saisir les opportunités qui s'offrent à nous. Avoir hâte à quelque chose, c'est magique! 😍 _______________ J'ai peur et hâte à la fois de commencer le nouveau programme d'entraînement qui sortira en juillet. J'ai peur de ne pas réussir à faire les 100 jours ou de trouver les exercices trop difficiles. Mais je suis aussi excitée de commencer un nouveau défi et de me dépasser. My biggest roadblock when trying to reach my fitness goals. ME! I get HYPED AF, take on a new training program, 1000% shift my nutrition, say I’ll sleep 8-10 hours a night (LOL GOALS), say I’ll go to yoga 4 x per week, walk everyday, hydrate af etc. I’m consistent for a couple days, maybe a week, then fall the fuck off. Like, roll down the hill, hit every bump, get covered in manure, poked by sticks, run in to a bush. Now, I actually follow a consistent training program, have my nutrition dialed, sleep 7-8 hours a night, stretch daily, do mobility work once per week, walk every day. BUT HOW?! I took things ONE STEP AT A TIME. HOPEFULLY to help you humans out, I’ll be sharing my daily workouts for at least a week to give you rep range goals and an idea for beginning programming so YOU can set goals for PROGRESSIVE overload. As well as posting 1-3 YouTube videos weekly ranging from mini cut check ins, changes to my routine and why, recipes I’m testing with macros/nutrition info. After having 2 people request to start this program with me after only a few days in, I decided to restart the program, Day 1 ✔ I know many people are afraid to step foot in a gym with no plan or start a fitness program at home with no supplies, but it can be done! 🏋️‍♀️🚴‍♀️. . . FOR BEAUTIFUL SCULPTED ARMS - Who loves working with resistance bands? - If you do, you will love this exercise! - Triceps extensions are one of the best arm moves to really sculpt and tone your triceps. - This movement targets your triceps, glutes, quads, and hamstrings. - Do 4 sets with a rep range of 12 reps. Use a band weight that is challenging. - TIPS TO REMEMBER: 1. Keep your core engaged throughout the whole movement 2. Keep your back straight, head straight and buttocks on your heels 3. Start with your palms on either side of your head, upper arm at a 45 degree angle with the floor and elbows about 12 inches apart and pointing forward 4. Push your hands out so your arms are fully extended and squeeze triceps, while doing a forward hip thrust 5. Squeeze your glutes at the top of the movement 6. Well last week was a weird one, from celebrating my 30th birthday 🎂 to going to the hospital ;( I guess that means I’m old ? Week 2️⃣ day 1️⃣ Today was hard ❗😩 I toght I was going to collapse in the middle of round two✌️😖 yup 👍 But I got my sorry little lazy ass back up and did it anyhow 🙏😏 Now im in my bed and can feel my legs soaring 👍 it's like there is tons of little ants walking on them... 😀 So, this week is going to be " alot of fun" 😱😆 But i'll pull myself together and try to do my best as always 😇 i know SHE Is watching and hubby will probably kick my ass back to the "playground" if i cant motivate myself anymore or anyhow🔙😅.
