I hope you have all had a fabby weekend 🌞 I have unintentionally burnt, it bloody feels like we’re in the Bahamas but I’m not complaining one bit 💃🏻 I filmed a little circuit that you can do anywhere and no equipment is needed! It only takes around 15 minutes so it’s great if you don’t have a lot of time or like to get it done, but boy does it make you sweat 😅 👟 Star jumps 👟 Floor tap squat jumps 👟 Jumping oblique twists 👟 Bicycle crunches 👟 Alternating toe tap crunches 👟 Diamond push-ups Complete 5 rounds - 30 seconds of each exercise with 15-30 second rest in between each round! I finished off with skipping (30 seconds on, 15 seconds off for 10 minutes) Happy sweating 🤓

I feel it is imperative to share my sisters success. The pictures speak for themselves. But never tell the story of the hard work and consistency. So here it goes. A year ago we’re talking about her workout style. This is KEY to success. Understanding if you are a morning, afternoon, or night person will literally be the kick start to your program. She Realized the time she works best is early morning. So she did. There is literally 0 excuse for “time”. Bc she would get up for 5 am classes. To be able to get to work on time and come home and enjoy her evening. And because she worked so damn hard for that schedule it became a habit.The habit turned into a passion. She found herself, her soul, her emotional connection and that’s why she changed. Her diet changed. No it’s not “going on a diet” it was what I put into my body is going to support my body for what she needed to get up early and grind all day. 🤩 PROGRESS 🤩 Tomorrow is the start of @shreddy week 4 (how has four weeks flown by so quick!! 😱) I’ve been getting quite disheartened because I couldn’t see any big physical changes in my body recently. But then when I picked these shorts out to wear yesterday I was shocked at the progress that I’ve actually made! Last year these shorts barely fit me and were extremely tight. It reminded me that I have come a long way on my fitness journey and progress isn’t an over night thing💪🏻 I woke up Saturday and my body was crying for a rest day as I’ve been pushing myself more than usual these last few weeks, which turned into a rest weekend (whoops 😂) So I’ve spent the weekend relaxing and indulging in all kinds of food 🍫🍰 and treated myself to a couple alcoholic beverages 🍷 it’s important to treat yourself once in a while. Been focusing a lot on running and getting outside as much as I can this week because of the amazing weather, so been a little tired in the afternoon when it comes to working out. Going to start fresh again tomorrow🦋 It’s been almost two months since I started working out again and I feel better than ever for it! I am loving my new routine BUT seriously getting bored of eating granola and greek yogurt for breakfast everyday. So if anyone has any low fat & nutritional breakfast inspo let me know. For now, going to head out for a run when it cools down a little and hit some abs when I get back (my usual routine is off today but still getting it done)🌺💗

Yesterday I was so happy I wanted to cry. I ran, at home on the treadmill. Cannot explain the feeling. My Dr. had already given me clearance for exercise and running. I'm confident in my body and feeling great, so I had to try. Alhamdulillah it went well! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just saying, training is one of the best stress relives and on of the best energy boosts that you can do! Today I did something different. @bbbrennn was getting ready to workout with her friends (@teacherbernie , @neeeece & @esttt90 ) on Zoom and I just told her I wanted to join them. . This exercise may seem easy but as usual, I perspired like as though someone poured a pail of water over my head. 😅 . Sometimes when you're unmotivated, it helps to jump on other people's enthusiasm! Strength training! I was not always the best about strength training in the past and would have frequent injuries as a result. Currently, I aim to strength train 3-4 times per week and have noticed less injuries, faster times, improved endurance on long runs, and overall stronger! ⁣ ⁣ Below is my lower body focused circuit that I did last night! You’ll need a set of medium weight dumbbells and a set of heavier dumbbells BUT all these exercises could be performed body weight only! For extra bonus, this is an at-home/quarantine friendly workout 😉. Comment below if you try it!⁣ ⁣ 🔅Superset 1: Perform 4 times (1 min rest between sets)⁣ 1a. DB step ups x12 each leg ⁣ 1b. Straight leg RDL x12 ⁣ ⁣ 🔅Superset 2: perform 4 times (1 min rest between sets) ⁣ 2a. Narrow stance squat x10 ⁣ 2a. Lateral lunge x 10 each leg ⁣ ⁣ 🔅3. baby got back (workout to do today!!) 💪🏼 messy hair & I don’t care bc back day is my absolute favorite day of the week, and this one is a burner!🔥 save it and give it a go! 1️⃣ 3 x superset: • 10-12 seated rows • 10-12 bent over lat pull downs 2️⃣ 3 x superset: • 12-15 straight arm pull downs • 8-10 Superman holds 3️⃣ 3 x superset: • 10-12 supinated seated rows • 8-10 reverse flys Really focus on contracting those muscles and keeping slow and controlled movements. 30 minutes of your day & you’ll get a super sore back in return!🙃 give it a shot, it’ll be worth it!🔥 Happy Saturday! 😜
