BABA ALAO: ADVANCING THE CAUSE OF SERAPHS THROUGH MEDIA
From the publisher's desk
As conduits of communication, the media have become the primary source of religious ideas in particular. The media have taken over many of the social functions of the institutionalized religion providing both moral and spiritual guidance and sense of community.
In retrospect, the Cherubim & Seraphim church, just like other Christian denominations, had explored the media in communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching of the word of God and other forms of evangelism. Though, at some point, the church grappled with quantum of negative narratives being meted out to it. Narratives being put up by those who barely understand what the C&S church represents; and that which they do just by a mere figment of their imagination. This was also fuelled by those who were not in tune with the reality of the establishment of the church, without exception to some elements who operate under the guise of being members of C&S but exude that which outrightly contradicts her tenets.
Suffice it to say that the narratives started changing over the course of time; a period that passes for an evolution saw Seraphs, with a better understanding of their true identity, took their rightful place in the kingdom business. Also understanding too well that they need not to go all out to start telling naysayers about their identity, they resorted to speaking through their Christ-like virtues.
Meanwhile, one person who feels the responsibility to push the cause to a mark rests on his shoulder is the supreme Head of the church, His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr) Solomon Adegboyega Alao (JPil) otherwise known as Baba Olori. Unarguably, his predecessors, while alive, played pivotal roles to ensuring that the church is well positioned and represented in the comity of Christian denominations. Baba Alao however saw the need, just like any other successor would do, to consolidate on the efforts of his predecessors. As prepared as he indeed appeared...READ More on...actsofseraphs.com

Well, I will not say I was expecting such national honour upon attending but having scaled through the various stages of local government, state,block/zone and finally, making it to the final stage, I was expecting something great and unusual from God for I know He is the only one that can do what no man can do. When I was declared the winner, I was joyous yet surprised to have emerged the winner of all teachers in private schools in Nigeria, especially that its the maiden edition for private schools category. All glory to God.

The Moses Orimolade University (MOU) master plan was officially handed over to TELISO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY on Wednesday, 2nd of October 2019, as pledged by Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi. It is on this note that ACTS OF SERAPHS reminisce on Passionate Night Of Breakthrough which remains the biggest Seraph gathering ever at the University site.
7 TAKEAWAYS FROM PASSIONATE NIGHT
Published 24 January, 2019.
History was made on the 18th of January 2019, as Seraphs across the country trooped into the town of Omu-Aran, Kwara State, to partake in the Passionate Night Of Breakthrough programme which held at the permanent site of Moses Orimolade University.
The vigil which was put together by The Youth Fellowship of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church and the Planning and Implementation Committee of the university has come and gone, but it will sure continue to linger in the memory of the attendees.
Acts Of Seraphs hereby highlight seven takeaways from the historic vigil which was convened by the founder of Love of Christ Generation Church, UK, Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi. ~ THE GRAND ENTRY
Expectant residents of Omu-Aran indeed had much to feed their eyes when the buses conveying Seraphs who had come to attend the Passionate Night Of Breakthrough began to move into their town in droves. No fewer than 40 buses made their way into the sleepy town on Thursday evening. With a striking and enthralling strength in the landscape, Omu Aran is typical of a setting unstripped of rural simplicity. It was also a sight of early morning mist patches to behold on Friday, as this was occasioned by the vestiges of harmattan that still abound in the area. These were, however, complemented by the humane gestures of the residents who threw their arms open at advances made towards them for one assistance or the other. Meanwhile, the traffic of human movement soon increased following the influx of Seraphs into the town. ~ BOOST IN ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
With the growing presence of Seraphs, the town bustled with life while....READ MORE...on our Facebook page

MEET TEMITOPE “SOLID ROCK” OGUNDEYI WHO TELLS THE STORY OF SERAPHS THROUGH HIS LENS
Seraph Tosin Akinsanmi “I have in several ways used my camera to represent the fold well and recently I have been receiving wonderful feedbacks about my pictures. I have a non-Seraph friend that naturally developed love for C&S because she saw the beautiful side of the church that she never thought was in existence”….SOLID ROCK
As the Cherubim & Seraphim church is going through reformation with regards to public perception, seraphs in the fold had taken to exploring various mediums to tell her story exactly the way it is. Meanwhile, a young man on his own part thought it pertinent to contribute his quota through his lens.
In the C&S fold, as a pen is to Seraph authors and media personnel, a microphone to Seraph preachers, so is a Camera to Seraph Ogundeyi Oluwanisola Temitope, better known as Solid Rock.
There are many photographers in the C&S fold , in Nigeria and the world at large, but what makes the difference in their services is not unconnected to the passion, vision and soft spot for humanity that drives them. One of such with the aforesaid qualities is this committed and dedicated Seraph.
Seraph Temitope is a Photographer/Visual Story Teller and also the Creative Director of Solid Rock Photography. He has been an active and effective photographer in major C&S events, just as he aspires to do more with the use of his camera to portray the fold in good light.
According to the graduate of Mass Communication from National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, the passion to be a Photographer was borne out of the desire to show the world to be a beautiful planet and this burning passion had subsisted for over 6years. “What actually birthed it was the idea of presenting a better view of the world to people and showing them that there’s more to Photography than just “Point and Shoot”, but “Creativity....READ MORE ON.....actsofseraphs.com.......https://actsofseraphs.com/meet-ogundeyi-solid-rock-temitope-who-tells-the-story-of-seraphs-through-his-lens/
Supreme Head Higher Than Earthly Kings, Says Baba Alao
The Supreme Head of The Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Dr. Prophet Solomon Adegboyega Alao has declared that the position he occupies should not be compared to that of any king in the world.
He said the position of Olori or Baba Aladura is spiritual and something spiritual is greater and superior to worldly titles or positions.
Baba Alao spoke in reaction to a controversial online publication about the crown presented to him by His Eminence, Prophet Gideon Adebare Owoseni of C & S Solution Ministry, New Jerusalem, Ibadan during the dedication of Ark of Noah built by the church.
A press statement signed by the Chief PRO of the Church, Snr Supt Apostle Muyiwa Adeyemi quoted Baba Alao to have said that people should not over react to the honour done to him but see it as Prophet Owoseni's own way to honour his leader.
Baba Alao said he and other Baba Aladuras that attended the program got to the church at the middle of the program and had no inkling of the honour but came during Prophet Owoseni's remark.
He said, "People have their ways of honouring their leaders. A woman that poured expensive Alabaster oil on the leg of Jesus Christ and cleaned His leg with her hair was roundly criticised by many people but that was her own way of honouring Jesus. "Infact there is nothing my self and other Baba Aladuras in attendance could do but to accept it. We can't be unruly because we just saw it as his own way to honour me. "I have no other ambition in life but to dedicate my time and energy for the unity and progress of the church.
In his comment, the Chief Image maker of the church, Adeyemi pleaded with the bloggers and publishers of online media to be circumspect of their headlines and captions given to their stores and pictures.
He said, "We cannot afford to be sensational when handling church copies. In fact, I am pleasing with them to get in touch with me for reactions on any story about the church or Baba Olori".
