Having a major Lizzie McGuire moment โœจ . I was hesitant about posting this photo because 1 I didnโ€™t love the edit, and 2 I feel like itโ€™s not creative enough or good enough or keeping in up with my theme of always improving. But guess what! This photo shows how happy I was to be at the Trevi fountain, it was a major moment, and I love that it reminds me of that experience. And Iโ€™ll never forget the FULL ON Instagram photo shoot happening with the couple behind me, who had a legit photographer with multiple cameras and lenses, shooting every move they made ๐Ÿ˜‚ #instagoals amiright . Plus I had a pretty amazing photographer myself! @ablondeandherpassport ๐Ÿค— at Fontana Di Trevi-Roma

Iโ€™ll have an espresso, and keep em coming por favore ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น . Iโ€™m still catching up on rest after the whirlwind of my trip to Italy. What an adventure!! I canโ€™t believe how much of the country I saw in 10 days ๐Ÿ˜ฑ we started in Venice and then went to Milan, Lake Como, Bologna, Florence, Naples, and finished our trip in Rome. It was such an amazing trip and I still wake up every morning unable to believe that it really happened ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s so weird to me to be settled and go on a trip then come back and just resume normal life. But I am really loving having a stable home, a steady income, and working at a job that I actually miss when I go away. It was hard to go from travelling full time to working full time, but I must admit that I am really enjoying this more stable life now. . Which would you prefer, a stable life or a life of full time travel?? at Italy

I miss Italy already ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น . My favorite part about visiting Italy was living that Italian lifestyle!! I love good food, good wine, and long meals - and back in Italy Iโ€™d have every meal fully sitting down and having a long chat with @ablondeandherpassport . Every time I travel somewhere new, I try to learn something about the culture Iโ€™m visiting that Iโ€™d like to integrate into my daily life. What I took from this trip to Italy is that I would love to integrate more time into my meals and eat more variety of foods, spend more time prepping and eating good food, and maybe even adding good wine into the mix a bit more often! . What is your favorite aspect of Italian culture? at Bellagio, Italy

When you just need to dance it out ๐Ÿ’ƒ . The Duomo in Florence is an absolute stunner!! How cool is this architecture?? at Doumo, Florence Italy

When the jet lag is too real ๐Ÿคช . I had the BEST time ever with @ablondeandherpassport travelling through Italy (sponsored by @rail_plus , thanks guys!). Through all of the pillow fights and coffees and endless pizza and pasta, late nights and early mornings, a LOT of @arianagrande singing, failed pizza making (but successful gelato making), hours on planes and trains and buses and ferries, we went from strangers to great friends. I miss you already @ablondeandherpassport ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ at Venice, Italy

Legend has it that if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, youโ€™ll return to Rome in the future. I increased my chances by throwing in 3 coins!! (And making plans to return doesnโ€™t hurt ๐Ÿคช). Most people get really excited about the Colosseum Iโ€™m Rome, but I was all worked up about the Trevi Fountain - I think itโ€™s so beautiful, romantically, and I absolutely adore the hope and inspiration it creates โœจ . Have you thrown a coin in the Trevi Fountain? If not, would you want to? ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น at Fontana Di Trevi-Roma

I finally found the famous concert hall that Lizzie Mcaguire performed in! Otherwise known as the Colosseum ๐Ÿ˜‰ . Fun fact! There is a cafe across the road from here where you can get a coffee with views of the Colosseum โ˜•๏ธ. . What would you be most excited to see in Rome - the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or the Spanish Steps?? (Iโ€™ll tell you which one was my favorite in my next post!) at Colosseo

Iโ€™m heading home tonight and will be flying for over 24 hours again ๐Ÿ˜ฑ BUT I have so many photos from Italy that Iโ€™ll continue posting them for a bit, hope you donโ€™t mind ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’• . This photo was taken in front of the Pantheon. What a cool building, and it is the largest dome in the world (or at least thatโ€™s what the tour guide next to me was telling his guests as I listened in ๐Ÿ˜‚). The Pantheon is close to the Trevi Fountain - just a few mins walk - and has free entry! I definitely recommend a stop if youโ€™re in Rome. . Iโ€™d love to know, who here has been to Rome? What did you do & what was your favorite part?? . Photo taken by my new bff @ablondeandherpassport ๐Ÿ“ธ and edited by me! ๐Ÿ’• at Pantheon

why fit in when you were born to stand out? . Toledo metro station is named one of the most beautiful metro stations in all of Europe, and not just by me. We waited to get a photo where no one else would be in it, but going to Naples during the Christmas markets is a busy time! I actually love the way this one turned out because it really shows my personality ๐Ÿคช . I never really felt like I fit in, I always was into different things than my peers. It wasnโ€™t until I started travelling that I really met my tribe ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€โ™€๏ธ I would rather live my life minimally and spend most of my money on travel, and lots of people donโ€™t understand or think of my lifestyle as depriving myself. I feel that I am doing the opposite - Iโ€™m giving myself everything Iโ€™ve ever wanted! I know that I have the power to see the world and that is exactly what I am going to do ๐Ÿ™Œ who is with me?? at Naples, Italy

Funny story!! I had a problem with my SIM card in Naples and had to stop in at a Vodafone store to get it fixed. When I was chatting with the people working there, the girl asked me if I was a fashion blogger. I said that I am a blogger and she started getting so excited ๐Ÿ˜‚ she didnโ€™t know who I was but I showed her my Instagram and everyone in the store was getting really excited, I even got a proposal from the man working there. Thatโ€™s the first time Iโ€™ve ever gotten a reaction like that, shoutout to that girl for making me feel like a million bucks ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™if youโ€™re still following me, youโ€™re my new favorite follower ๐Ÿคฉ at Naples, Italy

Money canโ€™t buy happiness, but it can buy pizza and thatโ€™s pretty close ๐Ÿ• . We visited Naples, which is the birth place of pizza. Naples is totally different than any of the other cities we visited in Italy, it was super busy with Italian tourists and the food was so much less expensive than other places we had been to! Iโ€™m talking 4 euro pizzas the size of your head ๐Ÿ˜ฑ . We visited a pizzeria called Sorbillos, which is one of the oldest pizzerias in the world, and is the highest rated pizza - in the world! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐ŸŒŽ Gino Sorbillo changed the perception of pizza from a second rate food known for being cheap and fast to an actual cuisine. Since then, he has won some impressive awards and has changed the world of pizza - and Iโ€™m all about pizza ๐Ÿ• . Who loves pizza as much as I do?! at Naples, Italy

Bonjourno FLORENCE! . What an adorable little city you are! Aside from Venice, Florence is the most picturesque town we have been to. The buildings, the colours, the river and the bridges, they are just ๐Ÿ™Œ . In Florence, we took a cooking class to try our hand at pizza and gelato. The gelato turned out fab, the pizza... not so much. Turns out making Italian style pizza isnโ€™t easy ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ• . We also visited the Duomo in Florence, we found a super cute cafe with amazing coffee โ˜•๏ธ and croissants ๐Ÿฅ, and we had some amazing pasta ๐Ÿ. Stay tuned for the upcoming blog post with all the details ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’• at Florence, Italy

BOLOGNA is such a food lovers paradise ๐Ÿ™ our trip here was short but sweet. We visited loads of markets, went on a city tour, and got to take a tour of FICO Eatily just outside of the city. We even visited Christmas markets - all in less than 24 hours! . Bologna is the most authentic little city we have been to so far in terms of food. Iโ€™m pretty sure all top 10 meals of my life have happened in the last week ๐Ÿ˜‚ . What was the best meal youโ€™ve ever had? at Bologna, Italy

CHEERS! ๐Ÿฅ‚ . Travelling through Italy with @rail_plus has been a dream! Some highlights: โ€ข drinking Prosecco on the train๐Ÿฅ‚ โ€ข wine tasting on the train ๐Ÿš‚ โ€ข alll the pizza ๐Ÿ• and pasta ๐Ÿ โ€ข city tours!! I havenโ€™t done a lot of city tours until now, but itโ€™s been so fun learning about the cities we are visiting from local guides โ€ข missing our train because we were getting pizza ๐Ÿ• โ€ข all of the canals in Venice โ€ข the best meal of my life in Bellagio โ€ข and that chocolate salami in Bellagio โ€ข finally seeing that gorg cathedral in Milan that Iโ€™ve been drooling over for years โ€ข eating everything in Bologna ๐Ÿฅ . We are just over half way through our trip - we just arrived in Florence and next we will go to Naples (where pizza was invented!!) and then Rome ๐Ÿ˜ฑ . Who has been watching our stories?? Stay tuned for my Christmas dancing series ๐ŸŽ„ at Italy

ITโ€™S ALIVE! โœจ . My blog post all about VENICE, ITALY is live on my website (link in my bio). Itโ€™s all about what we did with our 24 hours in Venice, including my favourite restaurants and hotel recommendations for Venice, Italy! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ‚โ˜•๏ธ . Iโ€™ve also included the most Instagrammable spots in Venice that you should not miss ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ“ธ . & as always, there are loadss more photos ๐Ÿ˜˜ pop on over & let me know what you think! at Venice, Italy

Always ready for another adventure ๐Ÿš† . The Milan train station is the prettiest station ever!! But the thing I love the most about it is the pizza restaurant inside ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿคค . We have been cruising through Italy on the fast trains, and they are seriously the easiest thing ever to use! The train stations are all centrally located and the fast trains are super comfy. I might be a little biased since @rail_plus is the sponsor of this trip, but itโ€™s been so much easier taking the train rather than flying everywhere (like I did last time I was in Italy). Itโ€™s also more economical, and more environmentally friendly ๐ŸŒ . Have you ever taken a long distance train?? ๐Ÿš† at Milano Centrale

when things donโ€™t go as expected, find the good and laugh about the bad, because life is too short โœจ . We had a banger of a day today where a few things went wrong - we missed our train by less than 10 secs because we spent too long at lunch drinking Prosecco and eating pizza ๐Ÿ•, but in the end we ended up on the next train, were offered a free wine tasting, and wound up having a great time! Though sometimes it can be hard in the moment when things go wrong, I always like to think of what funny stories they make. Because seriously, who misses a train because they were too busy eating pizza?? ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ at Bellagio, Italy

Wandering through Bellagio โœจ . Yesterday we took a day trip from Milan to Lake Como where we explored Como and the tiny little picturesque town of Bellagio! @ablondeandherpassport and I had a long lunch at B Style Restaurant where they make all local and sustainable foods, and we finished off our lunch with coffee and an Italian dessert called Salami Di Chocolat - yes, that translates to Chocolate Salami ๐Ÿ˜‚. The dessert is a chocolate mixed with a whole bunch of goodies and comes out almost like a super dense chocolate brownie. This was one of the best meals Iโ€™ve ever eaten in my life - I highly recommend a trip! at Bellagio, Italy
