Trying to get a photo in front of the Golden Gate in between bursts of wind 😝 . I have so many photos that have been dominated by the wind, swipe to see how bad it got 😂 wind is my absolute worst weather, I can’t handle it at all. If I am ever trying to get a photo in the wind, I’ll usually give the process 4 mins tops and then call it a day and hope for the best - I hate the wind! . It can create some hilarious photos though, I have one from Auckland (maybe I’ll share someday) where I am drinking a coffee and my hair is going straight up 😂 . Have you ever gotten a funny windy photo?? I feel like there must be some real gems out there!! at Golden Gate Bridge

SAN FRANCISCO 🏠 . Who watched Full House growing up?? 🙌 I am sitting in front of the Painted Ladies, which is the most beautifully perfect collection of classic SF houses that also happen to be showcased on the opening of sequence of the show. I grew up just an hour north of San Francisco (which means I would take the Golden Gate Bridge in and out of the city 🥳), and this is the first time I’ve been to the Painted Ladies.😱 . If you’re a Full House fan, you can also visit the “Full House house”, which is just the house they used at the exterior in the show (it was all filmed in a studio). The Full House House is currently for sale, anyone want to take a guess on how much it’s going for? Keep in mind that real estate in SF is the most expensive in all of the US now 😝 at Painted ladies

The best pizza in Italy 🇮🇹 🍕 . Did you know that pizza originated in Naples, Italy? If you visit Italy, make sure to stop in Naples and try the authentic pizzerias here - not only are they the best in the country, but they are also the least expensive pizza you’ll ever eat 🤤 a marinara pizza will set you back anywhere between 3.5-5 euros 💶 (which is like $4-6 USD, or $5-7 AUD) . If you’re following my stories, you’ll see that I’m now back home in Australia! I went to so many places on this trip including: Los Angeles, Rome, Positano, Naples, Athens, Santorini, and San Francisco. Of the places I visited, which destination was your favorite?? at Naples, Italy

Can’t get enough of Santorini 🤩🇬🇷 . Already missing this warm weather - in California it’s cold and cloudy. I’ll be flying back to Sydney tonight (can’t wait to be reunited w Michael!!) and Australia is going into the winter ❄️ I am NOT a fan of the cold weather at all, I definitely prefer warmer climates. I have noticed that I have a more enjoyable time traveling during the shoulder seasons though (like spring/fall), when it’s less busy, and we can still get good weather. ☀️ . What kind of weather do you like to travel to?? at Oía Santorini, Greece

Santorini Sunsets ☀️ . The best place to watch the sun set in Santorini is Oia, which is on the north section of the island and gives crazy good sunset views!! This is the reason we decided to stay in Oia on our trip, and I’m so happy we did. It is possible to rent an ATV (so fun!) or a car to get around the island, but staying in one place and fully exploring that little place was our plan for this trip. . If you’re visiting Santorini, I’d recommend staying at least 3 days - there is a ton to see and do, and though we got to do everything we wanted in the 4 days we had, I wish we had more time. It’s such a beautiful place and I can’t wait to go back 🤤🇬🇷 . Have you been to Santorini or is it on your bucket list?? at Oía Santorini, Greece

Cheers to epic adventures 🥂 . I absolutely LOVE visiting new places - travel makes me feel so creative, so alive, and I’m so addicted to that feeling 🥳 I love getting lost, trying new foods, doing things spontaneously (like going to the Trevi fountain at 2 am because you’re jet lagged & awake) . I had never owned a passport or left the United States until I was 25 years old 😱 my first trip was two weeks in Chiang Mai, Thailand. While I was on that trip, I met people who were travelling long term. As soon as I landed back in the US, I knew that I needed that long term travel lifestyle. And when I make a decision, I stick with it. 👌 . I saved up for five months, I cancelled my phone plan, moved in with my parents, quit my job and bought a ticket, and away I went ✈️✈️ My first stop on my trip was Copenhagen, and I quickly fell in love with Europe. I visited museums, went ice skating in Amsterdam, ate baguettes in front of the Eiffel Tower, and tried Belgian beer, German pretzels, experienced Christmas markets and gluwein and the coldest temperatures I’ve ever been in. It wasn’t perfect, in fact there were a lot of difficult times, but mainly it was fun AF. I made amazing friends, I stayed up late, I laughed and cried and walked more than I ever thought possible. . That was an amazing period of my life, and the best thing I learned from 3 years of full time travel is this: NEVER STOP EXPLORING. You don’t have to travel to new countries to have adventures. Adventures are the best and I can’t wait to plan out a few more 🙌 . What is your next adventure?? I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours 🥳🥳 at Oía Santorini, Greece

Taking photos of every single angle of Santorini 📸📸📸 . This is such a beautiful part of the world! I was talking with momma worm about how we both had wanted to visit Santorini for SO LONG, and now here we are! It still doesn’t seem real 😝 . Can you believe this was taken at our Airbnb?? We decided to go with a cave @airbnb instead of a hotel for a few reasons - one, we got a huge cave to ourselves (and we didn’t have to share a hot tub); two, we had a little mini kitchen so we could cook pasta at the end of the day (we usually were too tired/maybe had a bit too much rosé to walk back up the stairs to get food); and three, we found one of the best places I had seen in Santorini via Airbnb! This isn’t sponsored at all, I just love Airbnb because you get such good value. . Have you ever used @airbnb?? (Edit: this isn’t sponsored or anything, I just genuinely love Airbnb 🥰) at Oía Santorini, Greece

Santorini Greece babyyyy 🇬🇷 (as my mom would say 😝) . Recently, I’ve switched up my travel style. I used to be super into budget backpacking as it allowed me to see loads of places without spending heaps of money. And I LOVED it. I wouldn’t change those three years of backpacking for anything, especially since it led me to Michael 🥰 . BUT since I’ve started working full time and getting back into regular life, making a full time income and being allowed a certain amount of time off per year, I’ve been able to save more to go to some more luxurious places. I skipped over these places before because they were “too expensive” - and granted, they are much more expensive than the places I was going. But the places I’ve experienced in the last few weeks have been on my bucket list FOREVER and I’m so happy I fit them in this trip! . Two places that were HIGH on my bucket list for the last few years were Positano (in Italy 🇮🇹) and Santorini (in Greece 🇬🇷). As this trip comes to an end, all I have to say is the same as what I’ve been repeating for the last few years - save the money, go on the trip - you’ll never regret travelling. Momsies and I have made memories that I’ll keep forever, and this experience has made both of us so happy & so grateful for the opportunity to travel 🌎✈️ . Where in the world is highest on your bucket list at the moment? 🚁🚆🗽🗿🗼🏝🗻 at Oía Santorini, Greece

Fun fact: my mom started getting really into photography when I was in high school. She would take sooo many photos of my siblings and I, that for a few years, I refused to get my photo taken. I didn’t want anything to do with photography until I started travelling and wanted to document my trips. . Now, Momsies and I are travelling together and learning from each other! I’ve learnt more about my camera settings, and I have taught her how to use Instagram stories and highlights 😂 . I’ve loved being able to spend time together doing something we both love! 🥰 . Do you have a shared hobby with a parent?? at Athens, Greece

Just call me Athena bc I’m ready to move in 🏛 . “Acropolis” translates to highest point of the city. The Acropolis was built so high up so that back in 5000 BC, locals could keep an eye out for enemies trying to attack. They also got an amazing view in the process 😝 . If you are planning a visit to the Acropolis, make sure you sunscreen up! It’s SO SUNNY up there and there is no shade. I had to use my sweater (Exhibit B), as sun protection ☀️ it did the job, but a hat and sunscreen may have been more comfy 🤪 . My last Acropolis post has more tips for visiting this magical place ✨ at Acropolis - Ακρόπολη

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to the best worm queen a gal could ask for 🐛 @snapit4fun . I am so happy that I’ve been able to spend some good quality time with my mom on this trip! Since I started travelling and then moved to Australia 🇦🇺, I haven’t been able to spend as much time with my little worm as I’d like to. I was so happy when my Momsies suggested this trip like two years ago, and it’s been a dream! Who knew moms were such good travel companions! 👯‍♀️ . Fun fact: when I was growing up, my mom used to call all of her kids (there are 4 of us) her little wormlets 🐛- that’s why we now call her our worm queen 😂😂 and our family group text is the “worm clan” 🐛 I’m still working on my mom to get her first tattoo - a worm 😂 - I told her if she does it, I’ll get a matching one!! . What are you doing for Mother’s Day?? 🥰

Twirling around the Acropolis like 💃🇬🇷🏛 . I was SO EXCITED (!!!!) to visit the Acropolis, as it has been on my bucket list for a while. But I knew from travel experience + all the DM’s that it would be BUSY AF there. So Momsies and I rocked up at 8:30, waltzed in w our tickets (no line!), and by the time we hiked up the mountain to get to the Parthenon, it was indeed BUSY AF (who saw the stories?). . If you plan to visit the Acropolis, I’d recommend getting there when they open (8 am), and making a run for it straight to the Parthenon - which is at the top of the mountain. . You can buy tickets online to enter the Acropolis, but I’d recommend NOT doing that if you plan on going early. Momsies and I rocked up to the entrance at 8 am, only to find out that we had to pick up our tickets that we bought online at a tour company office, which was a 15 min walk away (hence the late entrance time for us 😝). There was no line for tickets, and we paid an extra booking fee to buy them online, so it would have been faster and less expensive to buy the tickets at the door for us 🤦‍♀️ BUT when we left around 11:30, there was a line around the block to get in. . All in all, we had a great day! We were at the Acropolis for about 3 hours, then we finished off our little adventure with a pasta and Prosecco lunch 🍾🍝🤤 . Have you been to the Acropolis? Is it on your bucket list?? 🏛🇬🇷 . Photo by Momsies @snapit4fun at Acropolis - Ακρόπολη

Positano by night 🇮🇹 . When I travel, I usually like to go out and explore all day and then go to sleep really early to get a full nights rest to explore more the next day! This means I rarely go out at night and I hardly ever know the trendy bars or clubs. This way of travelling is perfect for me because I can fit in everything I want to do! I think the latest I’ve stayed up on this trip is 10 pm, and I was sooo tired 💤 when I finally went to sleep! . What do you like to do when you travel? Are you a day time explorer like me or do you prefer the nightlife? 🕺 at Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy

Get someone who looks at you the way I look at pasta 🍝 . I’ve gotten a ton of DM’s about eating vegan in Italy. I have never had a problem finding vegan food in Italy, as Italian is one of the most vegan-friendly cuisines! Foods I’ve been eating loads of: gnocchi with tomato sauce, marinara pizza 🍕 spaghetti alla pomodoro, vegan gelato, and last night I even had a vegan raspberry cheesecake! . Loads of Italian foods are naturally vegan, and if you are looking for something a little different, I always recommend the app @happycow as they have listings of vegan restaurants around the world - including vegan-friendly restaurants (like this one, @dagabrisa ). I’ve travelled to 27 countries and have been able to find vegan food in every single one of them. . I’ll be writing loads of blog posts in the next few weeks all about my trip through Italy 🇮🇹 including all of the amazing foods I ate 🍝🍾🍕 . What’s been your favorite food you’ve tried while travelling? 🤤 at Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy

Positano could be my new favorite place!! It’s a tiny little town on the Amalfi coast in Italy 🇮🇹 with the most amazing, relaxed vibes. Life moves slowly here and is filled with only the best food, views, and beautiful walks. The people could not be friendlier, this place is seriously heaven on earth! It was a little chilly when we visited (mid-May) - I am already planning a trip back during the summer months! This would be an amazing destination for a honeymoon or mom/daughter trip (like Momsies and I did) or a girls trip! I’ll definitely be back to spend more time in Positano and see more of the Amalfi coast. . Where is your favorite place you’ve traveled to? at Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy

Positano, you’re a dream 🇮🇹 . The food is amazing, the views are out of this world, and I love all of the beautiful walks, and the cutest little bistros and cafes. Today is our last day in this beautiful place - I can’t wait for gelato, wine, all the carbs, and another magical day with my little momma worm 🐛 @snapit4fun at Positano, Amalfi Coast, Italy

Going on a new adventure 🚆 . I was so excited to take my mom on the train in Italy because she has never experienced a train like this before. We hopped on the train from Rome and rode 2 hours south to Salerno, where we had a quick pasta lunch and then jumped on a ferry for another 2 hours to.... Positano! . Stay tuned for alllll the Positano spam coming soon 💕🇮🇹🍕 at Rome, Italy

0

Still stunned at how beautiful Rome is! 🤩 . This morning was rainy so we decided to leave Rome and head to Positano!! I was so excited to visit Positano as I’ve never been to any of the coastal Italian towns. And I can see that I’ve been missing out, big time. I love visiting new places and this might be my new favorite place! . Where is the last new place you visited?? at Rome, Italy
