Pura Besakih is known as the Mother Temple of Bali and is simply the most important temple for the whole of the island. It's actually more like a complex of temples in one very large compound and its known and loved for is its dramatic location on the southern slopes of Sacred Mount Agung.⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ Photo Credit: @danielfleming27 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣⁣⁣ Share your amazing photos while livin in Bali with using Hashtag #balilivin for a chance to be featured.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ www.balilivin.com

Bali’s black sand beaches are just one of the reasons why the island is so unique. You can hop from a white sand beach to a golden sand beach, then onto a black sand beach in the space of just one day.⁣ ⁣ When you think of Bali’s beaches, it’s easy to imagine the pristine white sand and azure waters that adorn the pages of every Bali guidebook. Of course, these beaches are part and parcel of the Bali experience. But what makes Bali so extraordinary, are all the other quirks in between. Tremendous volcanoes, steaming jungles, lush rice terraces, majestic waterfalls, and of course, black sand beaches.⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @makyandmatt⁣ ⁣ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣⁣ Share your amazing photos while livin in Bali with using Hashtag #balilivin for a chance to be featured.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ www.balilivin.com

Arguably the most photogenic spot we visited on our entire Bali trip, Kelingking Beach is one of those viewpoints that is hard to believe that it’s real when you see it for the first time. This entire coastal area is particularly beautiful – the white cliffs contrast dramatically with the turquoise blue waters. The cliffs form in the shape of a Tyrannosaurus Rex at Kelingking Secret Point Beach it is bound to be a crowd favourite. Kelingking actually translates into English meaning Pinkie a term referencing the smallest finger on the hand. Just like a pinkie promise, the land does also appear to take the form of a Kelingking or pinkie finger. However, it is the comparison to the T-Rex that has caused this location to become so popular.⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @furstset ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣ Share your amazing photos while livin in Bali with using Hashtag #balilivin for a chance to be featured.⁣ ⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣ ⁣ www.balilivin.com

These stairs being cut into the cliff to access this paradise beach 🏝⁣ ⁣ Located at the bottom of a sheer cliff, Diamond Beach on Nusa Penida, Bali was previously inaccessible to the public and could only be enjoyed from above. But that’s all just changed. Locals are currently in the process of building stairs down to the beach, meaning visitors can finally trek down and feel the sand between their toes. With a long stretch of white sand, palm trees, rock pools and glistening turquoise sea, Diamond Beach is the epitome of paradise, and you'll feel privileged to have been one of the first people to enjoy its untouched beauty.⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @sennarelax ⁣ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣ Share your amazing photos while living in Bali with using hashtag #balilivin and follow @balilivin for a chance to be featured!⁣ ⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣ ⁣ www.balilivin.com

Pink Beach - got it's pink hues from the red corals crushed by the waves and then mixed with the grains of sand. Contrasted by clear turquoise waters, Pink Beach is every beach lover’s dream πŸ’–β£ ⁣ Pink Beach as it is aptly named, is one of seven pink beaches on the planet, and is just one of the many amazing features of Komodo Island that make it truly a Natural Wonder of Nature. This exceptional beach gets its striking color from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produce a red pigment on the coral reefs. For this reason, it is called Red Beach in the local tongue. When the tiny fragments of red coral combine with the white sands, this produces the soft pink color that is visible along the shoreline. Aside from Pink Beach itself, a few small segments along Komodo’s eastern bay also have a pinkish tint.⁣ ⁣ Located immediately west of Flores island in East Nusatenggara, Komodo Island is one of three larger and many islets that make up the Komodo National Park, and is particularly well-known as the natural habitat of the Komodo dragon. The Komodo Dragon is the largest living lizard, and takes its name after the island. .⁣ Aside from the obvious relaxation amidst this picture perfect scenery, Komodo is not short of interesting activities to partake in. Once you have finished taking in the magnificent surroundings, take a dip in the waters and uncover the marine beauty that Pink Beach has to offer. ⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @gypsylovinlight ⁣ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣ Share your amazing photos while livin in Bali with using hashtag #balilivin and follow @balilivin for a chance to be featured!⁣ ⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣ ⁣ www.balilivin.com

Gili Putih - A little slice of Paradise in North Bali ⁣ Gili Putih Island is one of the new beach destinations in North Bali, Sumbekima Village, Gerokgak - Buleleng. This island is a mound of white sand in the middle of the sea like an island but uninhabited, just a beautiful white sand dune. The uniqueness of this island, it turns out the shape is always different according to the tidal conditions of ocean waves.⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @wahyuxsaputra ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣ Share your amazing photos while livin in Bali with using Hashtag #balilivin for a chance to be featured!⁣ ⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣ ⁣ www.balilivin.com

Gunung Kawi Temple, locally referred to as Pura Gunung Kawi, is one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites, comprising a collection of ancient shrine reliefs carved into the face of a rock cliff. The main site overlooks the sacred Pakerisan River, which also flows by the Tirta Empul Temple a kilometre up north. Across the river from the ancient reliefs is a temple courtyard featuring old Hindu shrines in a more contemporary architectural style, which is attended by pilgrims especially during its β€˜piodalan’ temple anniversaries. ⁣ ⁣ Photo Credit: @_twowander_ ⁣ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂⁣ Share your amazing photos while living in Bali with using hashtag #balilivin and follow @balilivin for a chance to be featured!⁣ ⁣ Inquiries: [email protected]⁣ ⁣ www.balilivin.com

⁣ Uluwatu beach is what your Bali travel dreams are made of. Think: rolling waves covering a crystal-clear reef of aqua-blue water and stretches of sand and colorful beach umbrellas.⁣ ⁣ This beach used to be a β€œsecret beach” in Bali – known only to the locals, and it’s still one of the most undiscovered beaches for most tourists visiting Bali.
