Can you imagine how much this image means to this mother and baby? Forever?

Show me your Granny Undies!
Todays tip is all about being gentle with your body after birth!
My tip is to buy high waisted undies in one size bigger than what you usually wear!
After you give birth (no matter how you give birth), you experience a couple of weeks of bleeding (called Lochia) when "maternity pads" just don't cut it!
The best pads to use are the massive incontinence pads. Anything smaller likes to ride up (ouch!), doesn't absorb enough or stay where it should (messy)!
The best undies to wear are granny undies in a bigger size than normal so that you can be comfy and keep those big pads in place during the postpartum time.
Why in a bigger size?
Because you don't want to be having to worrying about tight, annoying, digging-in underwear with an already sore bottom or fresh cesarean scar!
You want to be as comfy as possible while keeping pads in place!
So granny undies it is!
Want to be even comfier?
Invest in some gorgeous cloth post partum pads to feel like the total queen you are!
So thats my tip!
Now, Show me your Granny Undies!

A grandmother breastfeeding in Vietnam.
Because breastmilk isn’t only induced by giving birth.
Stimulating the nipple and breast constantly can produce breastmilk.
But more important than that, above all, the will and determination to breastfeed is vital.
You can do so much in birth and breastfeeding when you have determination in your heart.

Report: Meghan Markle Continues To Break Tradition With Her Birth Plan! ✨
Isn’t is surprising that this is making news? Have we gone so far off? 🤔
“Meghan Markle continues to break royal tradition, this time with her birth plan as she reportedly wants to have a home birth rather than a “medicalized” one.
She [Markle] is a huge advocate of home births, but British royals are expected to give birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London,” a source shared with Grazia.
Meghan doesn’t want what she calls a ‘medicalized’ birth, and instead wants to have a pool set up in a relaxing environment,” the source added. “Even [Prince] Harry found this surprising, but Megs wants to ensure her birth is as natural as possible.”

Studies show that the best way to get the birth that you want is by hiring a professional Doula!
Research shows us that the support of a Doula is more effective in helping you get what you want and feel supported, than any other kind of birth support (wife, husband, partner, friend, mother etc)!
Not only is it like having a best friend who has done it a billion times before but you also have a professional on your side that knows all the tricks and tools that midwives and doctors aren't trained in!
Don't believe me?
These are the latest stats on the benefit to having a Doula for your birth-
--31% decrease in the use of Pitocin/Syntocinin (aka being induced which we know means a harder and more painful labour!)
--28% decrease in the risk of C-section (health risk and long term impact on baby and Mama, plus a long healing period)
--12% increase in the likelihood of a spontaneous vaginal birth
--9% decrease in the use of any medications for pain relief (less drugs to the baby means better bonding and breastfeeding as well as less time in special care!)
--14% decrease in the risk of newborns being admitted to a special care nursery (more time to love and snug your babe!)
--34% decrease in the risk of being dissatisfied with the birth experience (cos we got your back, guuuuurrrl!!) .
My genius tip is to hire a Doula, no matter how or where you want to birth!

At the himba of Namibia in Southern Africa, the date of birth of a child is fixed, not at the time of its arrival in the world, nor in its design, but much earlier: since the day the child is thought in His Mother's mind.
When a woman decides she's going to have a child, she settle down and rests under a tree, and she listens until she can hear the song of the child who wants to be born. And after she heard this child's song, she comes back to the man who will be the father of the child to teach him that song. And then, when they make love to physically design the child, they sing the song of the child, to invite him.
When the mother is pregnant, she teaches the singing of this child to the midwives and older women of the village. So, when the child is born, old women and people around him sing his song to welcome him.
As the child grows, the other villagers learn his song. So if the child falls, or gets hurt, he always finds someone to pick him up and sing his song. Similarly, if the child does something wonderful, or successfully passes through the rites of passage, the people of the village sing his song to honor him.
In the tribe, there is another opportunity where villagers sing for the child. If, at any time during his life, the person commits an aberrant crime or social act, the individual is called in the centre of the village and the people of the community form a circle around him. Then they sing his song. The tribe recognizes that the correction of antisocial behaviour does not pass through punishment, it is by love and reminder of identity. When you recognize your own song, you don't want or need to do anything that would harm the other.
And the same way through their lives. In Marriage, songs are sung together. And when, getting old, this kid is lying in his bed, ready to die, all the villagers know his song, and they sing, for the last time, his song. " " at Ballarat, Victoria

‘Brand new baby! The way her head is shaped is called molding and is totally normal. When a baby is born in a head-first position, pressure on the head in the birth canal may mold the head into an oblong shape. Molding usually goes away in the days after birth. During this time, the bony plates should move into a more rounded shape.’

Little one, every time you see yourself in a mirror or window, you kiss your reflection.
Please, please never lose this love for yourself and who you are.
Never lose the pride for announcing yourself as you enter a room.
Never leave the love for yourself behind.
Not for anyone.
Always bring it with you, let it lead the way of who you will become and how you travel along your journey.
You are loved by all, but never forget to love yourself first.
