Absolutely love Colorado, especially Pikes Peak and Woodland Park 'The city above the clouds'! I will be going back! A certain part of Interstate 25 was shut down going into Trinidad, Colorado from Raton, New Mexico due to rock slides turning it to a two lane road for about five miles.

My little Nissan did get flooded during Hurricane Harvey, but all was ok. I am still cutting new carpet to put in it since the original is completely ruined, but still usable as a template to base the new carpet off of. Engine and mechanicals were unaffected. Just hit 147,000 miles in it. Last calculated fuel economy was 25.91 miles per gallon U.S.

Years Made: 2014 - Present Make: Daihatsu (Toyota Motor Corporation) Model: Copen (sometimes spelled as Kopen) Country Of Orgin: Japan Body: 2-Door 2-Seat Roadster Convertible (Kei car) Engine: 659 cc (0.659 Liters) Turbocharged - Inline 3-Cylinder Fuel: Gasoline Transmission: 5-Speed Manual Or 4-Speed Sequential Semi-Automatic Dimensions [Inches]: 133.7 Length / 58.1 Width / 50.4 Height Dimensions [Millimeters]: 3,395 Length / 1,475 Width / 1,280 Height Estimated U.S. MPG: 52.27 Combined with Manual / 58.8 Combined with Semi-Automatic Estimated L/100 km: 4.5 Combined with Manual / 4.0 Combined with Semi-Automatic Weight: 850 Kilograms with Manual / 870 Kilograms with Semi-Automatic 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph): 13 Seconds Main Competitor: Honda S660 Description: Much smaller than a Mazda MX-5 Miata, this car is much lighter and is powered by a tiny 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, with pistons smaller than 16 fl oz aluminum beer cans. Because this car is so small, narrow and light, it gets fuel economy that rivals some 600 cc class motorcycles, and all without the complicated hybrid electric-gasoline drivetrain. Because of the car's size, it would be incredibly difficult to engineer for U.S. crash and protection standards, and have it sufficiently protect someone from a huge pickup or SUV. Despite this safety risk, I would love to drive this car, and it also means little money spent at the pump, since the engine simply can't burn much fuel. Because Toyota makes this car under the Daihatsu brand, (which is also well respected outside North America anyway), you get that incredibly hard to beat Toyota reliability.

Citroën C4 Cactus {Finally a post that lives up to my username!} Country Of Origin: France 🇫🇷 Body: 5-Door Compact Crossover SUV Engine: 1.2 Liter PureTech Turbo 3-Cylinder - Gasoline - 1199cc - 109HP 1.6 BlueHDi Turbo 4-Cylinder - Diesel - 1560cc - 91HP Transmission: 5-Speed Manual 6-Speed Semi-Automatic Push-Button Dimensions [Inches]: 163.7 Length / 68.1 Width / 102.2 Wheelbase Dimensions [Meters]: 4.16 Length / 1.73 Width / 2.6 Wheelbase Curb Weight: 1055 kg / 2326 lbs Estimated U.S. MPG: 67.2 Highway / 60.3 City / 65.3 Combined [Diesel Engine equipped with Automatic Start Stop Technology] Estimated L/100 km: 3.5 Highway / 3.9 City / 3.6 Combined [Diesel Engine equipped with Automatic Start Stop Technology] 0 to 100 km/h [62 mph]: 13.3 Seconds The French are well known to make unique and quirky cars, and the C4 Cactus is in a league of its own uniqueness. One innovative feature is the side plastic bumps on the doors. Known as ''AirBump", this plastic trim actually serves a purpose (besides making it ugly, visually). When another car lightly scarfs or scratches the plastic, it can be easily wiped off with a damp wet cloth as if it were never there, providing the damage doesn't cause serious dents or other major collision.

Found this little stock but clean Mazda MX-5 Miata at a store in Woodland Park, Colorado. Manual transmission, too! It's an 1990-1993 early U.S. model with the 1.6 Liter 4-Cylinder. Hopefully I stay short enough to be able to drive/own of these in the future!

This was our test run of the truck me and dad fixed up. Unfortunately for us, just only 10 minutes after taking this photo, the automatic transmission started slipping. Oh boy. It was shifting properly prior to moving the RV.

The car that I will own in a few years time. Mercedes-Benz 560SL. What once costed $67,000 in 1988 money ($110,000 today) can now be had for $10,000 today or even less than that. These are bargains at the moment! Repost from @sportleichtag - Sport Leich Auto Gallery.

Please read entire caption if you can! This is my new ride! We've got a thing for small pickups like this. 2000 Nissan Frontier XE Regular Cab. This was a high school graduation present for me! Thanks Dad! This truck has been in the family since June 30th, 2006. We are the second owner. The first owner was a undercover police officer who actually used it to patrol. Bought it with 53,000 miles. We've now tripled that mileage to 146,000 miles as of now. This is the most basic vehicle we've ever owned in terms of creature comforts and convenience features. Manual hand-crank windows. Manual locks. No keyless lock & unlock. Manual sliding bench seat. (Yes, a bench seat!!!) Manual adjust mirrors. Manual transmission. 5-speed. Windshield wipers have no intermittent function. Wipers are fully on or fully off. Rear drum brakes. Front disc brakes. About the only things on this truck that require power-assist of any kind are the wiper motors, brakes, steering and air conditioner. Power steering and air conditioning were optional and I am lucky to have those two things at least! By the way, the engine in this truck (KA24DE) was also used in the Nissan 240SX sports coupé. This is basically a sports car in a ladder frame truck body! That also means I can turbocharge this engine if I really wanted to. Could be a real sleeper! Engine: 2.4 Liter Twin Cam 16 Valve Inline 4-Cylinder (KA24DE) Transmission: 5-Speed Manual Bed Length: 6.5 Feet

Incredibly rare car. Built on June 15th, 1974 according to the VIN plate. This is a 1974 Jensen-Healey roadster equipped with the short chrome bumpers. This paticular example has the incredibly rare hardtop fitted to it. This car has a 2.0 Liter 4-cylinder Lotus-derived engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. There was also a 5-speed manual avaliable for this car as an option. Only 7,500 sold across the entire U.S. and only 10,000 built for the entire world, including the amount sold in the U.S. I hate to see rare cars like this in this type of condition.

Found this in a dealer backyard. A 1979 MG B roadster. This one was built in 1979. 4-speed manual transmission. I hear these are fun cars...... When they run. Real basic mechanicals.

New project with me and dad! 1998 Ford F-250. Going to Colorado in the next few weeks. Gonna make this roadworthy and have fun there. I bought 5 acres there and gonna have fun! Driver's side fender was smashed in, so was the side turn signal light. Thankfully the smash did not go into the core radiatior support area. New fender, grille and headlights going in. Bumper is bent out of shape, but we can rebend it back ourselves. Gonna be a nice puller for our RV. The truck came from an auction from the City Of Houston, so it is from a fleet. If you look closely, there is a working moveable spotlight on the driver's side.

2016 Opel Adam JAM Opel Website (in German): http://www.opel.de Production: 2013 to Present Location Of Assembly: 🇩🇪 Eisenach, Germany Engine Choices: 1.0 Litre Turbocharged Petrol Three Cylinder Inline 1.2 Litre Petrol Four Cylinder Inline 1.4 Litre Petrol Four Cylinder Inline Transmission Choices: 5-Speed Manual 5-Speed EasyTronic Manual Description: A car I world personally buy and drive! A honest, small, cute little German hatchback that doesn't try to be a sports car. A car that is honest in its current form, a rare thing in cars nowadays regardless of car manufacturer. A small city car made to compete with the popular (in Europe) Fiat 500. The Opel Adam is also available as a cabriolet convertible model, replacing the metal roof with a sliding canvas sunroof for open air motoring. Made for work commuting in mind in the city and for great fuel economy in the city and highway (though not meant for the highway). The Opel Adam is named after the company's founder "Adam Opel". In the U.K. it is sold as the Vauxhall Adam in Right Hand Drive configuration. This car is purposely not available in the U.S because it is simply too small, wasn't designed for American safety regulations and no Automatic transmission is available. However, the Fiat 500, which the Adam mainly competes against, is available in the U.S. but doesn't sell very well according to Fiat. A cool car that has the potential to achieve 50 Miles Per Gallon or better without using expensive and heavy hybrid battery technology like the Toyota Prius.
