My birthday is coming up in a few days! As most of you know, Harry Potter is one of my all-time favourite series and this Sirius Black quote has stuck with me for many years. The world is not simply filled with right or wrong. There’s a lot of grey in between and I find that to be a powerful thought. I could quote Harry Potter books all day and still be surprised by the sheer amount of wisdom in JK Rowling’s words. Sidenote: yes, I’m holding the Harry Potter game... I absolutely love it. I’ll probably spend my birthday marathoning all of the movies or writing, so we’ll see which one wins out! Photo was taken by the lovely @shwnadwyr.

Happy Family Day! I was absolutely THRILLED to meet Kristen Ciccarelli, E.K. Johnston and L.L. McKinney yesterday! Funny enough, we happened upon the event wrapping up at Chapters. I've been thinking about picking up these books for a while now, so this was the ultimate excuse to support fellow authors. These incredible ladies are so sweet and inspiring. I can't believe I didn't know about this panel sooner! Thank you all for taking a few minutes to chat - lending your support and advice. I look forward to reading your books. 😊

Happy Valentine's Day! What do you have planned on this fine Thursday? I'm reading Apidae by fellow Evernight Teen author @lisabornegraves and eating a tremendous amount of chocolate because why not? The sugar boost helps with the editing I'll be doing later!🍫 Swipe to see a teaser of my story Just Like The Movies from the KISSED anthology.❤️ ________________________________________

This is my ALL TIME favourite quote because it registers so deeply. I used to fantasize about being an author more than I was actually working towards that goal. As soon as I put in the effort, things changed fast! And on that note, I finally wrote "THE END" on The Hidden Legacy's sequel (title TBA). Lots of editing ahead of me but I'm over the moon excited to bring you all more of Faye's story!

Happy New Year!🎉 _________________________________________
Twinkly lights make everything feel more festive and fun✨ This year has been amazing. I have so much to feel thankful for: health, happiness, loved ones, making friends with many incredible authors and bookstagrammers, publishing another book baby (yes, I call them book babies because they're all a piece of me😂), AND all of my supportive and wonderful readers. Of course there have been some hiccups, hardships, and disappointments I've had to face head on, but new year = new me, right? And I'm choosing to feel positive about the future. Many of you know that writing is a HUGE part of my life (and will continue to be) but I've been working on a lot of secretive projects I'm dying to share with all of you! Your patience has been remarkable. I promise, for those of you who keep asking what happens after The Hidden Legacy, a sequel is coming. FAYE'S STORY WILL CONTINUE THANKS TO ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT. I am entirely grateful.💙 _________________________________________
I'm a day early, but publishing the sequel is my ultimate goal for 2019 - #FinnFuryRevolution. Much love from your fellow book nerd.

What do you do over the holidays? Christmas Eve is for the grandparents and entire family, but Christmas Day is for onesies and lots of food. It's a day of movies, reading, hot chocolate, and games. I absolutely love it. ❄️❄️❄️ at Santa's Workshop

Hey book charmers! Are you participating in NaNoWriMo? How's your writing coming along? Are you reaching your goals? (Am I the only one struggling?😂) I had every intention of reaching my November writing goal but I'm coming to the realization that it may not happen! I've had too much going on. I might crack down on my writing in December to compensate. Does anyone else want to join? Let's buddy up! 🙋🏼🙋🏼🙋🏼 at London, United Kingdom
The Hidden Legacy is in England too. 💙
Do you travel? Where's your favourite place to go and WHY? Traveling is a huge part of my life. I love to experience different cultures, meet new people, and be my tourisity-self (no shame). There are so many places on my bucket list that I'm dying to cross off, but I'm revisiting London, England this trip. The city is really growing on me and I'm finding a passion to write again! It feels as though history is embedded in every inch of the city and there's always some new hidden gem to stumble across - whether that is a restaurant or a cozy reading spot. But I still maintain that my all-time favourite place is Barcelona, Spain. My family comes from Spain so I always have a soft spot for the welcoming beaches, beautiful language, and tapas. If you could travel somewhere RIGHT NOW, where would you go? ✈️ at Piccadilly Circus

Hey book charmers! For those of you who don't know, I discovered a love for the Harry Potter books and movies in my late teens ... rather than as a kid. I've always adored magic, but the basilisk quickly killed my love for the wizarding world in the second book (I despise snakes). It wasn't until I was older that it stopped bothering me and I could rediscover my initial love and admiration for the story (obviously I'm compensating by buying an obscene amount of Harry Potter merch ... I may have a problem). So seeing how the movies were created was one of the coolest experiences! This idea was brought to us by a storyteller and has quickly turned into a worldwide phenomenon that continues to GROW. It's astonishing and inspiring. And I love it.
