Instead of empty chairs and empty tables, I am staring at empty pages. Moving to Scotland for my MSc was a decision I did not make lightly, nor do I take the time I have here for granted. Keeping up with the workload is hard, even if I love every minute of it. What the focus on my studies has brought about, however, is a lack of writing. Fiction writing. Writing to friends. Writing my journal. Writing down ideas. So now, after having finished most of this semester’s work, I am facing empty pages. 🕯 The rust of disuse stalls me as I attempt to weave a narrative, or even string together a sentence. Descriptions, which I used to love writing, now feel faded as I draw the brushstrokes. I have at my disposal only grey water-based latex compounds, rather than a full Bob Ross-ian palette. 🕯 Christmas break will be my refuge, my chance to get back into good habits and stretch my writing muscles. Most of you might take the holidays off after having beat NaNoWriMo, and good for you! I am proud of you and your achievements! 🕯 Use this season in whichever way you feel is good and helpful to move toward your goals. Take a break, buckle down on edits, write that synopsis, dig into your world, spend time with your family and loved ones, be alone if needed, make character-playlists, recharge. This time is yours; use it wisely and freely. 🕯 What are your plans for this last leg of the year?🎄✨ . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #stars #writingtribe #fantasywip #fantasy #wip #hiddengodsseries #hgseries #fantasyseries #fantasywriters #epicfantasy #adultfantasy #holidays #holidayseason #christmas #christmasbreak #UoE #UniversityofEdinburgh #Edinburgh #academicwriting #medievalist #MSc #NaNoWriMo #postNaNoWriMo at Leith Walk

“In this last of meeting places We grope together And avoid speech Gathered on this beach of the tumid river Sightless, unless The eyes reappear As the perpetual star Multifoliate rose Of death's twilight kingdom The hope only Of empty men.” —T.S. Eliot, “The Hollow Men” 🌘 I have recently decided on a climatic twist for an arc in HG⚔️ and I. Am. Loving it. Granted, many will die, and many more will suffer because of it…
No, uh, there’s no “but”. That’s just how it’ll go down. 🌘 Loss must occur for an emptiness to be born, so that said emptiness may be filled later on. I have been unhappy with some of the arcs for a while because there wasn’t enough emptiness to be filled, hence not enough loss. Don’t fret, I’m not just talking about loss of life, but loss in the more general sense: Loss of trust, of love, of a goal. Loss of joy, of hope, of strength. Loss, in any way there can be. It’s not easy to write about though and I am fully aware that I’m not making things easy for myself. Nevertheless, I’d rather have it so when my characters huddle in fear and sorrow, my readers can relate. To me, reading those moments has always felt cathartic. 🌘 What examples of loss do you have in your novel/story?
What do your characters lose?
Why and how does it further the plot, or even change them?
Was their loss inspired by something that happened in your life? . . . #hiddengodsseries #hgseries #fantasyseries #fantasywriters #epicfantasy #adultfantasy #tseliot #thehollowmen #poetry #eliot #poem #hollowmen #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #stars #writingtribe #fantasywip #fantasy #wip #writingprompt #amwriting #nanowrimo

So, forgiveness. I’ve spent some time on it in the last months and this will be the last post I make on it (for now?).There’s not much left to say which I haven’t said already. Except for the fact that it’s a sensitive subject and every case is different. 🌱 I can say all I want about it, but I can’t speak for every scenario. You might have had an experience which breaks away from what I’d said—heck, I’VE had experiences that don’t 100% fit. What I meant to do with all these posts was to shed a light on some misconceptions I believe to be detrimental to relationships and personal health. 🌱 However, and while I’m not an authority on any of this, it does irk me when I read stories, which do not incorporate some of the principles or facts I highlighted. Authors seek to recreate real life (even if its fantasy, etc.) or shine a light on aspects of the human experience. Ignoring the reality of a complex experience such as forgiveness doesn’t just teach readers something potentially hurtful, it also makes the story and characters seem fake. 🌱 In all you write, seek to be honest and true. Yes, it’s difficult to write the healing of trust between two characters but it’s also oh so rewarding—to you and your readers. Remember: when it’s difficult to write, it will be worth reading. .

—Cavetown (@lemon.socks), “This is Home” I discovered this track a while ago and it has become dear to me for various reasons. However, as I listen to it now, sitting in the university library and working on essays/translations for my courses, I am reminded of two characters in HG who would relate to the lyrics quite strongly. That thought reminds me that I haven’t had as much time as I would have liked to work on my writing. 🌌 I have been a busy bee, as usual, but the effect of moving to a foreign country, starting a demanding MSc programme and everything that entails, has taken my breath from me. When I do write it’s some hundred words at best, and less than 90 at worst. 🌌 Nevertheless, I decided not to hang my head. I envy those of you who can write thousands of words in a day, who can wake up at 4am and write before going to work, who can keep everything on track and churn out stories at the snap of your fingers. I am not one of you. I am slow, I am tired, I feel “ghosts and ghouls wrapping my head”—but I won’t give up. 🌌 We’re all different in how we work, making use of our strengths and habits in ways which serve our own purposes. So, I think it best not to compare myself to others. I may be slow, but that doesn’t mean my writing is bad, nor that my stories are any less worthy of being told. 🌌 In that… this is home. This place I have found to work at my own pace, where happiness is a hearth’s young fire, where stars would welcome me with open arms—this is home. . . . #fantasywip #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #amwritingfantasy #epicfantasy #writingprompt #worldbuilding #writing #msc #edinburgh #edinburghuniversity #university #mastersprogramme #thisishome #cavetown #stars #medievalist at Edinburgh University Library

PART 3 Forgiveness does not condone another person’s behaviour. Karl has cut my arm in anger. I forgave him but I still feel the pain of the wound and I have trepidations about being near him/anything sharp when he’s angry—I can also see that his actions weren’t justified. I can forgive and still think what the other person did was wrong. 🌱 Let’s look at that whole thing again: Karl cut me because he was angry—obviously that is wrong. Well, what if I can see the reason behind why he cut me, because I can explain it somewhat, does that mean his actions were justified? No. They were not. There is zero reason why another person should hurt you and even if you can explain how it came about, your forgiveness does not mean you think what they did was right. Sure, you may be able to understand it after hearing their side (which is also important) but the act of hurting you in any way isn’t made normal or morally upright simply because you chose to forgive. 🌱 And in cases where the other person didn’t mean to hurt you, well tough, they still did and you forgiving them doesn’t magically wipe that away. Sometimes we need to own up to the fact that our actions or words hurt another person and though it’s uncomfortable, that’s what’s happened and we have to accept it. My transgressor cannot force me to forgive them, and what I feel and think of them afterward is also out of their hands. Say it with me: »Forgiveness doesn’t mean I condone what has been done to me.« . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writingtribe #writingadvice #lifeadvice #forgive #forgiveness #forgivenessheals #psychology #thoughts #forgiven

Let’s cut to the chase, shall we? I HAVE 1000+ FOLLOWERS, WHAT. I’m extremely grateful to anyone who follows this page and reads my rambling thoughts (even if it takes some time to get them out there now and then. And even if I’m terribly at replying to stuff. I’m working to be better with that.) 🍂 Anyways, this is good timing for answering the questions of the #mywritingjourney tag I’ve been hooked to multiple times. So, without further ado, enjoy the slides above. Maybe I’ll do a “meet the author” thing soon so you newer wayward souls know who I am, what I do, and how much of a mess my mind is. . . . 📷: Unsplash #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writingtribe #writingadvice #lifeadvice #tolkienquote #jrrtolkien #tolkien #scotlandwriters #scotland #astronomy #sparkpost #writingprojects #meettheauthour

PART 2 Forgiveness does not fix trust. Starting up where I left off last time in the series… to forgive doesn’t mean you now trust the person who has hurt you. Going back on my example of my friend Karl cutting my arm in anger: so, I’ve forgiven him but the wound remains, and with the wound a permanent mark on our friendship. Will I trust Karl with a knife any time soon? Probably not. Perhaps in time, but not now, not right after having sustained the wound. 🌱 I recently had my first fight/argument with a friend I met here on IG. Though it wasn’t anything big, I hurt my friend with what I said and how I said it. And despite quickly resolving the issue, the dynamic of our friendship changed afterward. 🌱 This is normal. I hurt my friend’s trust and they needed some time to open up again. I was at fault and I shouldn’t expect them to just forget what I had done. It was an important lesson for me to learn. 🌱 Think of your characters… has anyone been hurt by the other? If so, consider how long it would take to build that trust up again, how the one who hurt the other would try to rebuild that trust and how the other may block it off because they still felt the pain. Now think of your own life. Saying sorry or forgiving someone does not mean you instantly trust them again. In fact, this should not be expected. It creates a false image of what forgiveness actually is. 🌱 More on that in the next post of the series. . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writingtribe #writingadvice #lifeadvice #forgive #forgiveness #forgivenessheals #psychology #thoughts #forgiven #trust #trusting #movingon #friendship #characterdevelopment

Heard enough of myths? No? Great. Because even though my last mythology post was on the Micmac Indians and their tale of Ursa Major, I have yet another to share with you: the Roman tale of Diana, Callisto, and Jupiter… and Arcas. ✨ Ovid’s Metamorphoses tells many stories, and among them is the story of Diana, goddess of the Moon, her favourite nymph Callisto, and how Jupiter managed to seduce the nymph despite her vow of chastity and obedience to Diana. I really recommend reading Ovid in general, but I want to focus on the revenge Juno, Jupiter’s wife, takes. ✨ See, Juno often has to deal with her husband’s infidelity and she usually manages to get back at those he had “dealings” with. In this case, Juno punishes Callisto by turning her into a bear after she gave birth. Callisto’s son, Arcas, then grows up to become a great hunter… see where this is going? ✨ So, Arcas is wandering around the forest one day and comes across a bear fit for shooting. He nocks his arrow, unknowingly planning on killing his mother—that is, until Juno steps in. Call it looking out for his illegitimate child and one-time-mistress, but Jupiter lifts the two into the sky to become Ursa Major and Ursa Minor; the big bear and small bear constellations. ✨ What I feel is fascinating about this is that it is so entirely different from the version of the Micmac Indians, or even the Inuit, yet it’s about the exact same constellation. Just think, different people across time looked up into the night sky and wondered what stories the stars told. Could or does such diversity in myths and stories exist in your WIP? . . . #fantasywip #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #amwritingfantasy #epicfantasy #writingprompt #worldbuilding #writing#astronomy #constellations #mythology #ursamajor #ursaminor #romanmythology #ovid #metamorphoses #diana #callisto #juno #arcas #bigdipper

PART 1
Forgiveness is not a cure-all. Stop treating it as one. Just because something is forgiven, doesn’t mean that the wound is magically healed. If my friend, Karl, were to cut me with a knife in a fit of rage I can chose to forgive him but that doesn’t make the wound go away. I will still have to treat it, dress it, and allow it time to heal. 🌱 The same is true for emotional wounds. You can’t—neither in fiction nor real life—expect a wound to heal simply because one person said ”sorry”. Forgiveness is a choice, but you can’t chose not to feel hurt or angry anymore. No one should expect another person to forget all about the hurt they have been caused simply because they have chosen to forgive. Forgiveness does not equate to healing. I can forgive Karl and still feel the pain of the wound. I can chose to love my friend for who he is and still look down at my arm and notice that it will take time to heal. 🌱 This doesn’t mean, however, that you should linger on the hurt. Feel it, allow it to exist, and work through it. Figure out why it is there, what it means, and then let go of it. And if it comes back, do the same thing until it fades completely. But you can’t expect forgiveness to wipe the slate clean—emotions aren’t so simple. 🌱 Yes, this means that if you have hurt someone, you will have to accept that you caused a wound & that it won’t go away just because you regret doing it. Does it feel uncomfortable? Hell yes. Do you deserve the right to have your friend forget what you did? No.
You can’t undo what has been done, you can only chose to forgive and move forward. . PS: this is my 200th post! Yay! . . .

Let’s dive back into myths, shall we? 🌌 The Micmac Indians of Nova Scotia and the Iroquois Indians along the St. Lawrence seaway share a folktale about the Big Bear/Big Dipper constellation. It is a story of the eternal hunt of seven men chasing a bear, with the quadrangle of the dipper representing the bear and the three closest hunters being the handle of the dipper. 🌌
In spring, so the tale goes, a bear emerges from its cave to be pursued by seven hunters. The chase continues all throughout summer but as autumn approaches, the four farthest hunters abandon the hunt and therefore dip behind the horizon. This leaves three hunters – Robin, Chickadee, and Moose Bird. Chickadee, who is the second closest after Robin, is carrying a pot in which the bear shall be cooked. In the sky, we can identify Chickadee and his pot as the double star system Mizar and Alcor. 🌌
In the height of autumn, the bear then attempts to stand up on two legs but is subsequently wounded by an arrow from Robin’s bow. The bear’s blood sprays on Robin who shakes himself off and by doing so, colours the leaves of the forest red. What remains of the blood on him stains his skin, which is why he is thenceforth called Robin Redbreast. 🌌 After the three hunters have caught and eaten the bear the skeleton remains traveling through the sky throughout winter. In the following spring a new bear leaves the den and the eternal hunt begins once more. 🌌 That snippet is from a casual sci-fi writing project I did with a friend a while ago. Here Teo is telling his sister her favourite bedtime story—it’s actually the Inuit version of the myth. . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #amwriting #writingcommunity #writerslife #worldbuilding #astronomy #constellations #mythology #scifi #micmacindians #nativeamerican #nativeamericanmythology #bigbear #bigbearconstellation #bigdipper

I’ve had something on my mind recently and I feel compelled to make a post on it to share my thoughts. However, since I tend to write too much, I’ll split this into multiple parts. 🌱 So, if you’d lend me your attention for a bit longer, I’d like to discuss something I’ve witnessed being treated or perceived wrongly in fiction and real life: forgiveness. In this tiny series, I want to share with you my thoughts on it and how I believe it’s often misconstrued. 🌱 Over the next few days… weeks (ugh I have a horrible upload track), I want to dig into the act and consequences of forgiveness in terms of real life examples and in the end relate that back to writing. I’ve recently had to deal with it, too, so a lot of my opinions come from a place of experience. 🌱 Compared to my IG stories this isn’t upbeat or fun but I do hope you stick around because I honestly think its something not discussed well enough. So yeah, see you in the next post. . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writingtribe #writingadvice #lifeadvice #forgive #forgiveness #forgivenessheals #psychology #thoughts #forgiven

Since the reveal of #projectwintersolstice ✨ I’ve read and critiqued a few short story drafts and I am incredibly in awe of what my chosen 11 are coming up with & creating. Hence, and without bragging, I can say that everyone is gonna have to buy this anthology once it’s done. 🗻 However, I also have a big announcement to make in regards to my 11. One of them made the tough decision to step out for mental health reasons—which I absolutely support—and give up their spot, leaving us one soul short. As sad as that is and as much as I miss her, the vacancy needed to be filled… and it wasn’t long before it was snatched up by someone I never get tired of bragging about: @thebowriter!!!! 🎉 🗻 I had spoken to him about the project beforehand, played some ideas off of him, et cetera, so when I asked him to fill in he said YES in a heartbeat (which made me literally jump in the air, no joke). See, not only do I have complete & utter faith in his abilities, I know without a doubt that I can rely on him—which he made pretty clear by casually having a first draft ready about two weeks after I asked him to join!! 🗻 So, long story short, herewith I announce my good friend @thebowriter as a writer of #projectwintersolstice! A big thank you to my other 10 (all linked above) for welcoming him into the bunch and a giant thank you to soul #11 for being part of the project and being so excited and diligent about it! ♥️ . . . 📷: #unsplash #anthology #fantasyanthology #shortstory #shortstoryanthology #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #stars #mountain #writingtribe #fantasywip #fantasy

Now, those of you who regularly watch my stories will remember I had a little mythology quiz up a few days ago. As I was debating which questions to use, one particular myth stuck in my head: that of the Hyades. ✨ The whole myth is worth looking into, but this is the gist of it: The Hyades are the sisters of the gifted archer Hyas, son of Atlas and Aethra. After their brother was killed by his prey, the five teary-eyed nymphs were set amongst the stars. The appearance of the constellation in November marks the start of the rainy season in Greece, which is why the sisters were titled "the Rainy Ones” and are known as messengers of rain. ✨ I thought about this in regard to which constellations could mean different things. In Hidden Gods⚔️ the different races see different things in the stars, but now I’m beginning to consider how these things change depending on where in the world you are and at what time. ✨ In WIP3🦅 (the one with Copper & Nagi) I’ve got a pretty good idea of the constellations the mountain tribes see and revere thanks to their mythos. However, I have no idea what other beliefs could be tied to celestial movements… I’ll have to look into that (and bug my collab partner again). ✨ As for WIP2✨, which is #projectwintersolstice … given it’s a completely different realm and not one we fully explore (even though I wish we could!!) this world building bit doesn’t really matter. I’ve got some ideas, but I doubt they’ll make it into the final version. . . . #celestial #hyades #greekmythology #greek #hyadesconstellation #omens #constellations #astronomy #fantasynovel #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writerslife #worldbuilding #stars #space #writingtribe #fantasywip #fantasynovel #fantasy #amwriting #amwritingfantasy #epicfantasy #writingprompt #writingcommunity #starcluster #hyadesstarcluster

By now I would think it’s common knowledge that “Every Breath You Take” by The Police was not meant as a romantic song. It does not promise endless love or selfless sacrifice, but unhealthy obsession. As far as I know, it was inspired by the letter of a fan, basically a stalker, who promised to always be watching. 🌒 Now, if that doesn’t make your skin crawl a bit, you don’t understand the implications. Imagine someone out there following you without you knowing, recording what you do, watching your every move… it’s not fun, to say the least. 🌒 I’ve some experience with this sort of thing, having a “friend” turn obsessive in a rather perverted way. Why am I telling you this? Because through this experience I learned something I use when writing villains: Sometimes physical violence is less soul-crushing than psychological torment. A brutal bully might leave a character with a broken arm, but something as vile as being stalked leaves a much deeper mark. 🌒 Why? Because you constantly ask yourself if maybe, just maybe, you’re just being paranoid. Or arrogant. Or silly. And not just that—you also begin to fear even the simplest of things like going outside for a walk, grocery shopping, or even opening a window. And since you never know when or from where you are being watched, everything in your world turns into a nightmarish game of hide and seek. That shelf could be hiding a camera… that car seems to be following you for too long… did that someone bump into you on purpose? Did that bush move unnaturally? 🌒 So, my advice, I guess, is this: Consider in what ways your villain tortures the MC psychologically and how deep such a wound may run, as well as how the MC might struggle with the torment and how others react to it. After all, the one thing making something like being stalked worse is if those closest to you don’t believe you when you tell them. 🌒 Does your villain have a psychological affect on your characters? If so, what and how? . . . #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #worldbuilding #stars #space #personal #writingtribe #fantasywip #fantasynovel #fantasy #amwritingfantasy #epicfantasy #hiddengodsseries #snippet

Are you growing tired of my astronomy aesthetic or do you have space for some more? (Yes I did that) ✨ Okay, the real reason for this post is that I have been tagged for multiple prompts in the past days… weeks… time, and I decided to finally get around to them. First of all, @damstorywriting and @talesfromfarcliff both tagged me in the “5 facts about me” prompt, so let’s get to that: 1. I’m starting my MSc in Medieval Literatures & Cultures in September at Edinburgh University, where I will move at the end of August. 📜 2. I grew up around the Kottenforst forest in Germany and spent a large chunk of my childhood roaming about the woods alone, building forts, and following faerie trails. 🌲🌳 3. I was taught horse riding in both the English & Western styles, but prefer the latter.🐎 4. I love research and learning new things, which is why I have approximate knowledge of many things but am pretty much only an expert in how to be an idiot.🃏 5. I’m horrible at naming five facts about myself, so how about you just ask me a question in the comments? ✨ Right, so, that’s done! Actually with really good timing too, since I recently got a bunch of new followers. Hi guys, welcome to the wild ride that is my life and writing journey. Drinks are over there, pillow forts over here, and snacks will be brought to you by the various animals and wildlings roaming about. ✨ Next up, the tags by @piper.bee and (again) @talesfromfarcliff about what my bookish identity would be… well. After some consideration, I would have to say “Die Unendliche Geschichte” (The Never Ending Story) by Michael Ende. The story deals with the idea of change, power, responsibility, as well as creativity—plus, I mean, Bastian BB builds worlds. If that’s not my number one hobby right there, I don’t know what is. . . . #fantasynovel #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #writingcommunity #writerslife #worldbuilding #stars #personal #writingtribe #fivefactsaboutme #fivefacts #tagged #bookish #bookishidentity #unendlichegeschichte #neverendingstory #hi #astronomypuns

The main villain of the Hidden Gods series may be the most eloquently spoken evil I’ve ever written. They seem to spew nothing but epicness whenever they open their mouth and I. love. it. (Yes that above quote is said by them) ⚔️ ✨ Honestly, I did not set out to create them like that. Initially, I had intended for them to be vicious and vile, like a wild dog poked too many times. But as I worked on the story, they became a clear favourite of mine—a sentiment my readers will hopefully share! . . In other, more personal news, I am currently feeling like a falling star. And not the beautiful, magical kind. More the lone rock shooting toward their flaming demise kind. I’ve been in a rut for a while, with depression as heavy as an anvil upon my chest. But right when I was in the depth of it all I was surrounded by the love and support of dear friends from all around the world. 🕯 Some sent memes, some offered loving words, some kept me company when I woke at ungodly hours, and others wrapped me up in such love I forgot to feel the heaviness coating my mind. You each brought candles, large or small, into my darkness, and together created a blanket of light which carried and protected me. Know that I cannot thank all of you enough for being beside me during this time. 🕯 I promise I’ll keep climbing, and perhaps I’ll end up being the magical sort of shooting star after all. For now I’ll just obsess over my villain a bit more, kay, byeeee . . . #fantasywip #fantasynovel #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #amwriting #amwritingfantasy #amwritingepicfantasy #epicfantasy #writingcommunity #writerslife #worldbuilding #writing #snippet #fantasysnippet #villain #stars #personal #thankyou #villainquote #writingtribe #depression #hiddengodsseries ⚔️

Hi hey hello there How did you get here? I’ve been silent for so long, I was sure the algorithm chewed me up in its digital maws. Did you perhaps get here by navigating the stars? (Smooth segway, Shae, smoooth) 🌌 Really though, have you considered how people in your WIP navigate their lands? Do they use maps? 🗺 If so, what kind? If not, why not? 🌌 I’ve been dealing with this question as I work out the culture Nagi 🦅 was raised in. As a trained Ranger she needs to be able to navigate her way around the mountain ranges she inhabits before the story kicks off—but how? Because, fun fact, she can’t read maps. Hates them, in fact. She finds them crude and a barbaric form of representing the natural world. Actually, all her people do... but why? If not by maps, how do they know where to go or where they are? 🌌 That question bugged me for a long time. Until I figured out a system by which she and her people navigate their way around their world. Part of it is reliant on the stars, but there is another way, a more... magical one. And one I can’t share—yet. It may give too much away, see 🙊🙈 🌌 Anyways, how do people in your WIP find their way? How does your MC know where to go? Do maps play a big role in your WIP? . . . #fantasywip #fantasynovel #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writersofinstagram #writer #amwriting #amwritingfantasy #amwritingepicfantasy #epicfantasy #writingcommunity #worldbuilding #writing #worldbuildingprompt#astronomy #constellations #navigation #navigating #maps #starmap

»There is a realm between this and the next where spirits walk freely, unburdened by the responsibilities that tether them to our world. Here, an endless forest grows in twisted, shifting patterns, its paths only traversable by those who know to ignore the ghost lights. In its centre, the twelve guardians meet to each share a new tale they have come across since the last winter solstice. They are ancient spirits with new names, watchers of life and death and all in between, shapers of our world—they are the months incarnate. And these are their tales…« • • Wayward souls, friends, beasts, and warlocks.
Around Christmas 2018 I had the idea of compiling a short story anthology which would be tied together with a single narrative: the months personified meeting to share stories around a campfire—and I wanted the stories to come from 12 different writers. ✨ So, I gathered a troupe of brave souls, all willing to help me create a month each, and write a short story. They are masters of words and wonderful people, each one chosen for a specific reason, a trait, or nuance I was enamoured by, and wanted to learn from. These are the eleven I am fortunate to have caught: @daniwritesbooks @thejmivie @penningfate @sydney_hawthorn @keirawriteswattus @hasanstorywriter @lunatic_writer @positively_rae @christinelroland @chroniclercalderon @falmeea ✨ Together, we make up the team for Project Winter Solstice (working title). And, let me tell you, we’re one heck of a bunch. Watch out for this anthology, because it will be a marvellous work of literature. (How could it not, with these 11 souls involved?!)♥️ ✨ #ProjectWinterSolstice #anthology #shortstoryanthology #fantasywip #fantasynovel #fantasy #writerscommunity #writers #writingcommunity #writing #writingtribe ✨ P.S.: I wish I could’ve taken more of you writers into this boat, but alas, eleven was my max number. You can be certain, however, that I still adore you for who you are & what you do. Maybe we’ll collaborate in the future♥️
