Really fun last couple days hanging out with @laducb and @thepaulofthewild We didn’t hike, but instead opted for drinking coffee and beers. So here’s a picture from when we hiked The Enchantments together this summer and caught sunrise from Aasgard Pass. Then Bryce was chased by goats 🚶‍♀️🐐 . . . #choosemountains #pnwonderland #pnw #aasgardpass #theenchantments #hiking #hike365 #hikingadventures #sunrise #werehikers #peoplewhoadventure #peoplewhohike #getoutstayout #outdoorslife #neverstopexploring #discoverearth #travelawesome #camplife #travelphotography #mountains #mtnchicks #likeamountaingirl #radgirlslife #mtnbabes #wildernessbabes #wildernessculture at Aasgard Pass

I slept at a rest stop in Eastern Oregon last night. After driving from Alberta through Idaho and Washington I was exhausted. Pulled in excited to see only one other car and parked on the opposite side of the lot as them. A couple minutes later an RV pulled in, bypassed the designated RV parking, and parked in the stall directly next to me when the entire parking lot was empty. What is with people and not understanding personal space? In grocery store lines, rest stops, at the beach, and even camping! There is plenty of room for all of us to have enough space, why do you have to encroach on mine? *end rant* Edit: On a positive note, thank you @amazon prime app for allowing me to fall asleep watching Dirty Dancing on my phone in the middle of nowhere 💁🏼😂 . . . #choosemountains #easternsierra #bestmountainartists #camplife #campvibes #roadtrip #raelakes #sierra #travelersnotebook #travelawesome #discoverearth #earthfocus #wildernessculture #backpacking #backpackingculture #bpmag #werehikers #peoplewhohike #peoplewhoadventure #mtnchicks #optoutside #takemebackpacking #camping #outdoorwomen #outdoorlife #mountains #mountainlife #getoutstayout #andshesdopetoo #lifeofadventure

The Canadian Rockies sure know how to throw one helluva going away party. My cheeks are still stinging from all the snow kisses. Thank you @cody_the_nelson @alisekera @laserhawk_mountain_lover for all the laughs in between almost being blown off the mountain 🌬🚶‍♀️ . . . . #choosemountains #mountainlife #mountaingirls #mtnchicks #alpinebabes #goatworthy #scrambling #hiking #peoplewhohike #werehikers #peoplewhooutdoor #optoutside #mountains #snowstorm #hike365 #seekthetrails #mountaineering #winteriscoming #winter #snow #outdoorwomen #outdoorlife #wilderness #discoverearth #earthfocus #bestmountainartists #travelawesome #travelphotography #bpmag

Who else rubs there face against every larch that they see? 🙋🏼

Oh Canada, I just can’t quit you. Sadly it looks like I’ll be returning to California for awhile starting next week. But I’ll be back for you! (And Cody too! 😜)📷 @cody_the_nelson

Maybe I’d be faster if I didn’t pack so many cookies 🤷🏼‍♀️ Backpacking to Mount Willingdon was still one of my favorite trips this year 📷 @cody_the_nelson #worthit #cookiemonster at Mount Willingdon

This is my happy mountain face that says I’m stoked the weather is cooperating but I didn’t bring a hat because I didn’t expect it to be sunny and I’m probably gasping for air and failing miserably at trying to look cool. The usual 💁🏼 📷: @cody_the_nelson

Running from Monday like ...

How many larch marches would a larch march if a larch could march in a .... wait what 🤔🙃 Larch hike #1 yesterday morning with @sdhiker to Larch Valley was pretty neat.

Had fun today playing on some rocks with @sdhiker on a very different Baldy traverse than in California.

Day 6 SoSHR: After the storm the day before we were pretty happy to wake up to clear skies. My sleeping pad had developed some holes a couple days prior so I hadn’t been sleeping well on the cold wet ground, and the early morning wake up calls were getting rough. But today was resupply day and I was happy to get food! We left 60 Lakes Basin via a small scree/talus pass and were welcomed with the most ridiculous views smothered in warm alpine glow on the way to Glen Pass. After meeting our faithful resupply angel Craig at Charlotte Lake we had to start considering the possibilities of continuing the route. New weather systems were heading our way and the Russel-Carrilon Col and Whitney Mountaineers route were looking more and more out of reach 🙈

You know you’re in for a good time when the trip report says “This mountain should be unnamed and taken off of all maps - it's that crappy.” Thank you @rockiessummiteer @laserhawk_mountain_lover @cody_the_nelson for a very interesting 🤔 and fun day on Cockscomb Mountain on Saturday

@cody_the_nelson told @fitdeviant that his biceps are bigger. Big mistake.

SoSHR Day 5: @between_2_pines @aliwill12 and I woke up at 5:30 am to catch sunrise over Rae Lakes. Even though it was our "rest day" we were excited by the opportunity to explore and do some scrambling. We probably should have known when the cloud covered blocked the sunrise that things weren't going to go as planned. Mid morning we packed up camp and started to make our way to 60 Lakes Basin where we had planned to spend our day, but just a few minutes into our hike the rain started. We had just enough time to find a good camp spot at the edge of the basin near the pass where we would start the next morning before the sky opened up on us once again, and poured rain and hail for hours. The storm finally let up just before sunset and we were able to play around a bit while treated to an intense cloud display of colors.
