HYPER FOCUSED! If you want serious #results, train with #focus and #intensity. My face here actually makes me laugh but it’s cool that my partner trainer caught some of these still shots today. Smashed a great #legday with them so if you’re ready to get results let’s get a program started for you. Tired of saying “someday” or stopping your #exercise regimen? Once you lose momentum, it’s hard to get it back. But not impossible. I’m here to help you stay #accountable. Message me for a complimentary intro session. at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

Putting aesthetics (how you look) aside, #exercise has sooooo many other benefits for you! Relieving #stress, lowering #bloodpressure, increasing #bone strength, lowering #bloodsugar, just to name a few. Someone told me today that since they haven’t been able to exercise normally for about 10 days, they’ve been a bit more on edge and less relaxed. I actually love hearing feedback like this to remind me of why I believe in exercise so much. Questions? Ask me, I’m here to help you find the healthy #lifestyle that we all are capable of! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

#halloween leg day finisher: reverse hypers for the #hamstrings and #core. You can set up using the leg extension machine (among other ways). The tricky part is trying to resist falling to the ground using that slow eccentric component with the hamstrings then push off of the ground enough but not too much to then use the hamstrings to return to start in the concentric phase. Give it a try! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

Tip for today: #workout with a partner! You both will want to show up for each other and can push each other to new #pr (personal records). I couldn’t do very many reps of the #preachercurls at 47 lbs but with @jamesk_fit help at least I got a few reps in before dropping the weight back down 💪🏽🏋🏾‍♀️ at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

Consider this move as a #hamstringworkout finisher; it’s a lot harder than it looks! If you don’t have gliding #discs you can use small paper plates or towels & can even do this at home. It’s easy to get creative with your #workouts. Keep #moving! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

My fellow trainer @cameronharn told me to upgrade to the 50 pound #kettlebell today for my #turkishgetup. I was scared to try it.....but I did it! Multiple times! Still have to tweak some parts of my form but it’s so #empowering to feel my strength #gains. If you are interested in becoming #strong while remaining #functional, let me help you on your journey. If you have other goals such as #weightloss, learning how to eat to fuel your body, #mindset improvement, etc let’s start or continue your journey! Special thanks to @jamesk_fit for video assistance. at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

Happy Thursday! I had two A+ clients train on their birthdays this week: @eneyajenkins on Monday and @zoooleee today! Now that’s #dedication! And how about my #ootd today by @kdwapparel?! Safari leggings and top are sooooo cute! Use code KDW-DANATRAINS15 for 15% off. Keep training everyone! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

It’s always an honor to demo combos for @basruttenmma. He builds #combos to confuse your opponent then adds changing levels (head, body) to seemingly simple strikes and kicks. I instruct my #mma clients based on learning from him for the past several years. Message me with any interest in learning a skill while you burn calories. Thanks to @mpopham for allowing me to kick you 😉 at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

It’s incredible how much harder it is to do single leg exercises compared to double leg. But it’s so important to challenge your #body. When using both legs, our stronger leg can carry relatively more load without our knowledge causing asymmetries. Mix up your routine and consider incorporating single sided #movements. Feel free to message me with any questions! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym

TIP OF THE DAY: Unilateral movements challenge the body to stabilize! This unilateral chest press recruited a lot of #core work as you can see with the obliques working harder on my right side versus left. Also, if you want core definition it is 100% about what you eat...the rest of that sentence was “you can crunch all day but you won’t see abs unless your eating is on point the vast majority of the time! Feel free to message me with questions, I love to talk about fitness & nutrition. Training with me includes nutrition guidance and accountability. If it’s not working for you on your own, it’s time to be held accountable by me! at Bas Rutten's Elite MMA Gym
