Since you all liked last night's pic I thought I would share Part 2 of the sunset last night at Lake Hefner: this was taken about 7 minutes later as the light really got low. I call it the Fairy Tale Lighthouse Sunset :) If you look really close you can see a faint crescent moon in the middle of the sky. Please don't forget my 2019 Calendar pre-order has begun: already about 10% of the initial order has been spoken for so place your orders quick. Deets here: https://www.davidsuttonpictures.com/misc/2019-oklahoma-calendar/ at Lake Hefner

Yeah. It's time!! The 2019 DSP Oklahoma Calendar is headed off to press and pre-sales are beginning. Lots of folks have already asked how to order: https://www.davidsuttonpictures.com/misc/2019-oklahoma-calendar/ has all the details. We have some exciting new changes this year including custom branding options for business owners. I promise not to spam your feeds, but I will have several ads in between now and Nov to remind you. Please do me a favor and help me support one of my favorite charities: grab a calendar and tell your friends and OK business owners!! Thank so much!! at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

A little good news: early winter weather hitting tomorrow will help a little with the fires in Glacier National Park. PTL! This is a smoky sunrise coming down from Logan Pass on the Going to the Sun road last year during the fires. at Logan Pass Visitor Center

Kind of bummed that our vacation to Glacier had to be changed due to the wildfires.  Thoughts and prayers to the responders.  Glacier is a magical place filled with wondrous views.  This is SwiftCurrent Lake on a morning sunrise from our last trip. at Swift Current Lake

Praying for the responders to the fires in Glacier National Park now. This is a shot during the fires last year at Lake McDonald. Hard to imagine that the Crown Jewels of the Continent are setting there beyond the smoke. at Lake McDonald

Grazing in the light. These guys were perfectly in the light last night in Piedmont until the scene stealer ran up to me and hogged the shot :) (see earlier post) at Piedmont, Oklahoma

"Pardon me sir... do you have an apple?" - said the scene stealer ;) at Piedmont, Oklahoma

It's Waterfall Wednesday.  It's hot here so I am dreaming of this nice cool spot: Upper SwiftCurrent Falls in Glacier National Park.  You have to go see it! at Swiftcurrent Falls
