ICELAND CHRISTMAS ADVERT BANNED! . . This advert has been banned from TV because it has been deemed to breach 'political' advertising rules. As part of its festive campaign, @icelandfoods struck a deal with @greenpeace to create this short film featuring an orangutan and the #destruction of its #rainforest habitat at the hands of palm oil growers. . . #Orangutans are now being classified as critically #endangered, with around 25 killed every day. . . We can all contribute and do something small like checking the products we use for the use of #palmoil or buying products without the #plastic wrappers. Please check out the link below or in bio to do what we can to save our plant . https://secure.greenpeace.org.uk/page/s/rang-tan-video . . "If man doesn't learn to treat the oceans and rainforest with respect, man will become extinct." Peter Benchley #icelandadvert #icelandorangutan

Princess of Wales Conservatory. Probably my favourite area in Kew Garden, exploring plants from ten different climate zones. .................................................................................... Did you know? Sir David Attenborough buried a time capsule in 1985 containing seeds of basic food crops and endangered species. It will be opened in 2085, when many of the plants it contains may be rare and extinct. at Kew Gardens
