Let’s talk about mOMmy sanity and delirium🙄⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Yup! Let’s drop some truth bombs here⬇️⠀ ⠀ No one really shares with you the raw side after having a baby 🤰🏻 ➡️🤱🏼➡️🥰➡️🤯⠀ ⠀ It’s challenging, juggling home, partner, hormones, in-laws , sleep deprivation, feedings and not even our own, laundry, dirty diapers, forget your own shower, etc... oh! and keeping another human alive 😍⠀ ⠀ Sounds exhausting right? 😰 it is! ⠀ That mOMmy brain kicks in and we feel⠀ like we are going insane and a bit delirious specially due to the lack of sleep 😴 ⠀ ⠀ Totally normal, don’t worry we all have it and it will get better. I promise you that! 🤗⠀ ⠀ Sometimes we isolate ourselves from the world due to having no clean clothes or we haven’t showered in days. Normal! 🙋🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ However I highly encourage you to not stay in that state for too long. Isolation is not a healthy way to process Postpartum 🙅🏻‍♀️⠀ And this is for all mOMs it doesn’t matter how many years ago you gave birth. ⠀ ⠀ Find your tribe, that sisterhood of mOMs that you identify with and can share your experience and uplift you. mOMs empowering mOMs. ⠀ Avoid the constant complaining about how things suck, find healthy solutions. It’s okay to vent however again... don’t stay in that venting state too long. ⠀ ⠀ 🙌🏼Having mOM support it’s huge and part of our postpartum period. If you think 🤔 well... I don’t know where to start . ⠀ Begin in mOMmy groups there’s tons in San Diego county and I’m sure they are some available for you in your hometown 🌎⠀ ⠀ Also don’t be afraid to be the one to invite another mOM to share space and energy with baby, kids or without them. ⠀ ⠀ Having that mOMmyhood Support it’s part of successful parenting! We need to be that sane none delirious mOM sometimes hehehe! ⠀ mOM brain it’s a real thing, my baby it’s 13yrs old and I still have it 🤦🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ Find your tribe of mOMmas and love and support each-other fiercely🔥💕⠀ ⠀ This is @lamamacitablog She is part of my mOMmy tribe. 🤱🏻The Postpartum body struggle it's very real and challenging⠀ ⠀ You may say WTF do you know about that?look at your skinny ass⠀ Yup! I've had people say those exact words to me, and it FKN hurts 💔⠀ ⠀ The reality of it is, the challenge is not only losing the baby weight, some mOMmas struggle to gain the weight back. Some people assume that it's so much better to have that kind of problem. SOOOOO many times I've heard Oh! Lucky you! I wish I had that problem... No you don't! 🙅🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ 🥑 I was a healthy 5'7" 120lb chica prior to having babies, since having my 1st son I haven't been able to weigh more than 111, I went as low as 106, I went from a size 4 to a size 2/0, and it's FKN hard for me not only to gain weight but to retain it 🏋🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ Do you think that it feels good to be ridiculed and shame by people and mOMs because I am thin Oh! and doing it in a joking matter is not funny, I ain't laughing ⠀ A lot of people find it okay to comment freely on my body, IT'S NOT OKAY! It hurts me deeply 😢⠀ ⠀ 13yrs since my last baby was born, and my weight still something I struggle with daily. ⠀ I encourage you to please do not assume on other peoples bodies. In your eyes it may look perfect. But you have NO IDEA what that person struggle may be 😞⠀ It's sad to see how cruel people can be. Don't shame the mOMs! mOMmyhood can be a lonely journey and if we are struggling it’s extremely challenging. ⠀ ⠀ 🙏🏼Please be kind, it cost nothing to simply be kind! ⠀ ⠀ ☎️Reach out to the mOMs in your life, not only the ones that seem to be struggling but also the mOMmas who seem to have it all together. As the end of the year approaches, I've had the opportunity to sit in gratitude for the lessons, abundance and the crazy in between. ⠀ ⠀ Leaving my office job after almost 13yrs and becoming a mOMpreneur, that was scary AF 🤯⠀ ⠀ So... what happened this year?⠀ ⠀ •I made life lasting friendships, solidify others and some fell away...⠀ ⠀ •The Postpartum Class came into fruition, not always things go as planned. ⠀ ⠀ •I had the honor to be in 3 Podcast sharing my passion to break the stigma around Maternal Mental Health. ⠀ ⠀ •1 Magazine interview where I could share what I do with the community ⠀ ⠀ •Shoot a Video talking about PMADs, Yoga and Energy therapy. ⠀ ⠀ •We have a home full of teenagers ( I miss my babies) ⠀ ⠀ •Our Daughter began a new exciting journey (we are SO Proud) ⠀ ⠀ •My husband hit a milestone B-day and feels and looks Amazing!⠀ ⠀ •I relied on ME to provide, NOT the 9 to 5 job, my intuition and trust in the universe grew immensely! ⠀ ⠀ Letting go to bring in, has been a challenge in all honesty. There were moments where I doubted my self, where I just wanted to give up. ⠀ My husband is my rock, not for a moment did he doubt that I am capable. We did have our shaky moments I can be stubborn (who knew) But he never let me give up, he encouraged me even at my worst. I am so grateful for his love and constant pain in the ass dedication to US!⠀ ⠀ So... this mOMpreneur business it's harder than the 9 to 5 job. You may think Oh! Di! you have teens, not a baby it should be easy, yeah! That's what I thought. ⠀ Not the case peeps! Teens required tons of attention too, and guess what? They don't nap during the day, this is while on break, during the week I am mOM UBER driver. I actually often get mOMmy shame for having teens and not babies.
