Our new building is almost ready for us to move in! Our team has spent countless hours planning and designing for our new launch in September. We are beyond excited, knowing and believing that God has something special in store for Evergreen Church in the fall.
What an honor to have pastor @topherjprice preach this morning!
Missed our morning service? No problem! Stay tuned and watch our sermons on www.egchurch.com.

Planning planning planning!! Planning for the Fall has been quite the journey. It has been filled with happy surprise after happy surprise. God has been so faithful! We are more ready than ever! We'll keep you updated 😉
Thanks so much to Danielle Bauhuis who has been working tirelessly to create our new church website! To create the website, Danielle also needed to learn all the coding to make it possible - countless hours spent in message boards trying to locate the needed info! And we know you do it all because you love Jesus and believe in the work he is doing at Evergreen!
Go check out our new website!
You might be wondering - what is the deal with the line above the E? Does it just look cool (no, but it does look cool)...are we trying to be more French (no, not that that's a bad thing). The line is a symbol used in math to denote repeating. It represents our desire to experience constant, unending growth in knowing Jesus and making him known!
Also, the latin name for that symbol is a 'viniculum' meaning 'bonded' or 'tied' - representing how the gospel has made it possible to be united with Christ!
Not just a pretty symbol :)

Our prayer is that ECHO wouldn't just be a night where songs are sung and words are shared, but that these songs and words would be the means by which we seek to draw near to God - to be with Him, to experience the power of His presence, and to open ourselves up to His gracious work in us!
No matter the week we’ve had, we all need to draw near to God in worship in prayer - to rest in Him, to be reminded of who He is (and who we are in Him), and all He has made available to us.
Will you join us for ECHO tomorrow, June 6, 6:30pm in Studio A at the Evergreen Cultural Centre. Invite your friends! It is going to be an awesome evening. at Evergreen Cultural Centre
NO SERVICE THIS SUNDAY! Instead, join us at our Sandwich Sunday Booth at Teddy Bear Picnic. We are inviting families to make bagged lunches for people in need in our community! This Sunday is "Sandwich Sunday"! "Sandwich Sundays" are a special Kid's Church service that aims to teach children (Kindergarten to Gr. 5) about Jesus’ love for the marginalized. Children will learn about Jesus' desire to extend his love through us as we seek to love and care for those in our communities. Kids will play games, write cards and prepare bagged-lunches for the residents of a local shelter.
Invite your friends and join us this Sunday morning - 10am at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way)! For more information check-out our webpage here: https://www.egchurch.com/sandwich-sundays/
Come join us for our new sermon series: Behold - starting TODAY!! (10am at the Evergreen Cultural Centre)
The Apostle Paul made a shocking declaration to the Corinthian Church - God’s plan was for each and every one of them to BECOME LIKE JESUS! It would still be their uniquely created life of course - but with their self-centredness replaced with the unconditional love of Jesus; and their sadness replaced with the irrepressible joy of Jesus; and their anxiety replaced with the unshakeable peace of Jesus! Even more shocking was how this transformation was to take place. Not through striving or self-righteousness or perfect religious performance; but simply through BEHOLDING. In 2 Corinthians 3:18, Paul wrote that as we behold Jesus we will become like Jesus! It sounds vague and surreal. It sounds too good to be true. But it is. BEHOLDING is the key to the life we were created for. In this sermon series we will explore what it means to BEHOLD and how we become like Jesus through it. at Evergreen Cultural Centre
Evenings like ECHO are so important (and so special!) because, when we come desiring to meet with Jesus in prayer and worship, we encounter him in such powerful ways! It is in moments like these that transformation occurs!
Join us at ECHO tonight- Wednesday, April 18th, 6:30pm (connect time) 7:15PM (worship and prayer) in Studio A at the Evergreen Cultural Centre! at Evergreen Cultural Centre
