The best carbonara in town. Hands down 🙇‍♀️ It’s egg-based, truest way to cook this Italian classic, topped with meaty and fatty pancetta bits. Not only they’re good at freshly made pasta dishes, we’ve also had a taste of their delicious brick-oven Garlic Clam pizza and 3-cheese fritters which we both recommend too! A bakeshop renowned for its Cheese Bread which we can certify is really good! Yet we were intrigued by one item on their pastry selection, the Pandesal Cookies, so we opted to try it. Served hot, it resembles the taste of a corn biscuit or corn muffin from the likes of Kenny Roger’s. Wouldn’t rave about their burgers cos it was just fine. Had both the Chef’s Choice, namely the T.E. Crispy Chicken Burger and Backyard Cheeseburger. Though liked the cilantro aioli on the chicken burger, wished it had more to contrast with the sweet T.E. sauce. But daamn, they’ve got game on their truffled items. They have pretty good cheesecakes, we must say. It’s not too dense, texture is actually smooth and light without exhausting its cheese base. Recommend the Salted Caramel cheesecake and Blueberry cheesecake - better paired with their wide selection of hot and cold drinks. You must get their Beef Ontama Bukkake Udon ❤️ Fascinated about how silky yet still firm their freshly made noodles are. Easily my favorite item on the menu so far. There’s no need to even add sides as their bowls already come with a hefty amount of serving. If you want an affordable ramen at best value, Ramen Kuroda is where you wanna be. For only a price of Php 230 (at most), you’d get a rich tonkotsu broth, al dente noodles (from the likes of Ramen Nagi’s), generous toppings of green onions, sesame seeds and a number of slices of chashu. Not to mention, it already comes with an egg too! We had Aka Chashumen (spicy) and Shiro Chasumen (classic). You just can never go wrong with Tim Ho Wan ❤️ Aside from our all-time favorites such as Pork buns, Hakaw, and Chow Mien, there’s a new addition to the list! And we’re back! 🤗 if you’re looking for a place to have a wine & cheese night with your friends, this is the place to be! 🥂Their cheese & cold cuts platter can already feed a big group of 6 to 8 pax and has a good and authentic variety. Been in the business for long yet still never loses its touch. Mann Hann is one of our go-to restaurants for a quick and decent Chinese fix. We love every item in this photo, but the one thing we never forget to order every time we dine-in is their Spicy Squid 🦑 It has a deep-fried goodness that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s Taco Tuesday! Or we must say, Tuesdays? We obviously ordered too much 😂 From another hole-in-the-wall located in Poblacion, El Chupacabra. Beautiful 😍 Fell in love with these two items of St. Louis. First - Wild Strawberry Waffle. A well-made Belgian waffle drizzled with berry coulis and white chocolate which taste great together. The wild strawberry ice cream on top is damn good too. Second - Louis’ French Toast. Seems simple yet heavenly. It’s a lightly “french-toasted” croissant with a buttery goodness that melts in your mouth, complemented by maple syrup, fresh fruits and whipped cream.
