2019: the year I’m taking action on all those dreams, all those visions, all those passions in my heart. At some point you have to just start. As scary as that may sound, it’s true. It’s time to DO instead of just DREAM. It’s time to start writing, start going, start investing—to just start. I’m so excited for this year and how it has already started. It’s such a refreshing time of the year where you reflect back on all the good and recognize that even greater good lies ahead. As I press into God even more this year, I’m beginning to hear and see Him all around me and what’s even more exciting...I’m beginning to see a shift in my friends and family that is so different and extraordinary than years passed. I’m seeing lives be transformed, dreams come to life, and joy arise. Buckle up, y’all...because God’s excited for this sense of urgency and expectation we have. If we carry out His commands and draw close, this will be a year of breakthrough and victory, but remember that breakthrough follows obedience, so don’t lose heart! Keep your head above the water as storms come, cling tight to His truth and promises as brokenness tries to tear you apart, and run boldly towards Him and His throne even when you don’t feel like it, even when you don’t feel worthy. So here’s to a year where the enemy and this world no longer have a hold on our confidence and hope! 🙌🏽 • #2019 #newyear #boldy #advance #breakthrough at Northbrook, Ohio

On this snowy Tuesday, I’m reminded why I love snow...it causes us to slow down. Snow makes us stop and admire everything it touches, it slows our pace in every way and signals the beginning of a beautiful season, and that’s just what I’m expectant for. This next season will be one spent thanking the Lord for his faithfulness, his gifts, and another year of life. Hoping for more slow days like this where I get to reflect on God’s goodness and drink coffee and watch the snow fall. ☃️ • #letitsnow #letitslow #harrisonohio #harrisondontcarrison #christmastime #season at Harrison, Ohio

What a night of just pure celebration. It was such an honor to get to be a part of this special day with some of my closest people and community. Matt + Ellayna, congratulations on the beginning of a beautiful chapter of your life! You guys have the best people in your corner rooting you on! And might I just add some of the best dancers/hype skwad/Jesus-lovin’ people as well. Best wedding and reception I’ve ever been to by far. I love these people so much. 👏🏽🕺🏽😎💃🏼❤️ #chenowethyouforever at 1913 Heartland

The last year has been a year of newness. It’s been a year where I’ve gotten out of my autopilot faith and been pushed by the Lord to listen more, do more, and trust more. With all that being said, I am officially moved out! I’m so excited for this next chapter of my life with some of my best friends—living closer to my community and navigating what it takes to be out on my own. It’s a whole new freedom that you can only gain by doing. Though I’m going to miss the comfort of the last 22 years of being home with my parents, I am anticipating only more goodness and promises to be fulfilled in this new season of life! Here’s to the #coogancrew 🙌🏽

Man, the past few weeks have been some of the busiest, but sweetest moments of this last year for me. I’ve heard so clearly from the Lord in quiet times away from the noise and am beginning to understand what it means to truly trust him in situations that seem so unclear. I’m noticing that life is easier when you react out of love instead of fear, worry, or insecurity, which may seem obvious, but difficult if you aren’t careful. I’m learning to listen more and speak less and to give people a chance before jumping to conclusions. I can just tell this next season is going to be one of quick obedience and full-on faith with the Lord, and I just can’t wait to see what that really means. (Also, I’ve picked up actually reading and this book is a great first choice). at The Coffee Peddlar

Today I woke up: couldn’t find my wallet, forgot to do an assignment for school, got some bad news, and left something important at home. All setbacks for what I hoped would be a good day. But you know what? I decided to not let it change that. • 17 years ago I was 5 when the Twin Towers were struck. I was too young to really know what had happened but I’m not too young now to understand it. Just a week ago Cincy experienced a shooting that hit close to home as well. For as long as I’m alive, I will try to be intentional with each encounter I have with someone and each opportunity I am given. I will choose love and thankfulness instead of negativity and frustration because you never know what each day will hold or when you’ll lose someone or something you love. I’m thankful that, though I lost my wallet, I have money to worry about losing, a body that is able to be active and drive, and a college I love attending. It’s these small moments that shut my complaining mouth real quick and make me realize all that I have over all that I don’t have. At the end of the day, I have parents who helped me, friends that listened, and a God that gave me comfort and peace of mind. • I truly am taking today to value what I have, the country and city I live in, and the people that surround me everyday with love and support. ❤️🇺🇸 • #carpediem #remember #911memorial at Cincinnati

His presence awaits our awareness. This truth has been resonating in my soul so hard lately. How often do we find ourselves in worry, in loneliness, in confusion throughout our days? • As it says in John 3:17, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it through Him!” This verse is so simple but carries so much weight, LITERALLY. Jesus sent his Son to die on the cross for us so that in our moments of worry, pain, and suffering, we would find rest knowing we have a Savior who has already won and carries our weight on His shoulders. We have God as our Father, Jesus as our example, and the Holy Spirit as our guide. It’s up to us if we are going to acknowledge that though. We have this 24/7 access to the Father through His Word and prayer...HOW COOL?! We serve a God that not only sacrificed his only Son for us, but also requires nothing from us but our surrender. And how can you not surrender when you realize that he is a constant, offering unconditional love, grace, and the gift of eternal life. I’m just so thankful after this weekend that I don’t have to rely on my own strength or any human being to bring me joy, strength, or peace in this life. #sunset

Day 1 of senior year @uofcincy is in the books. Man, time sure does fly by. This is me being at baller at age 5 and me being a baller at age 21, some things never change (except my wardrobe consisting of an XL blue plaid, flame button up, cargo shorts, and white tennis shoes from KMart). All jokes aside, I’m so excited for this last year of my Marketing degree. The Lord has truly provided for me over the last 16 years of schooling from my teachers to the friends and knowledge I’ve gained along the way. It’s been a wild ride, and it’s about get even wilder as this season of my life comes to a close and another one opens! Stay tuned! #KindergartenTo16thGrade #YesMyMomTookThesePics #sen19rz #getit at University of Cincinnati
