Standing at the edge of the world. Knew if I ever made it to Bali, I had to stop this insane infinity pool at @mundukmodingplantation to see if for myself. The views in person definitely did not disappoint.

Calm mornings in the Cascades. Finally doing some backpacking in Washington’s mountain ranges is high on my list for summer this year. You guys got any summer plans you’re looking forward to? at North Cascades National Park
Happy Friday guys! Hope you’re all able to get out on an adventure during this holiday weekend. For road trip inspiration, here’s a collection of some of my favorite roads from around the world. Which one would you wanna drive?
1. Lake Thun, Switzerland
2. Valley of Fire, Nevada
3. Big Sur, California
4. Alabama Hills, California
5. Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland
6. Atlantic Ocean Road, Norway
7. Mount Cook, New Zealand at Planet Earth
Starting to feel like I need some more mountains in my life. Although I’ve loved the desert, tropical beaches, and forests these past few months, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a view like this one. Definitely gonna switch it up and seek out some new mountain ranges this summer.

We left at 4:00am to pack in a full day of chasing waterfalls (we made it to five in a single day). This one was the very first we arrived at, but it was already so hot and humid at sunrise I couldn’t wait to take a little shower under these misty falls. Such a fun day of adventuring. at Oslob, Cebu
This is the closest I’ll probably ever get to walking on water 😝. Such a surreal pit stop just off the side of the highway (so close trucks were honking at us).

Last time I was in Arizona, @dani_the_explorer and I took a day to go drive these insane back roads winding through the mountains. I was completely mind blown, had no idea a place like this existed in the state. Finally going through all the photos now, reminding me this place is just as crazy as I remembered. at Arizona
This still remains one of my favorite sunsets of my entire life. Not just because it was incredibly beautiful, but it was the very first sunset I caught after leaving my 9 to 5 job to start traveling full time. I had been a nervous wreck for weeks leading up to this moment, but here it finally sunk in that this was my life now. Call me crazy, but it felt like a sign I was onto something great.

If I’m being honest, this expedition made for a rough morning. Woke up at midnight, but our driver showed up two hours late. Then he dropped us off at wrong sunrise viewpoint where there were literally thousands of tourists. And since Bromo is currently erupting (it’s a highly active volcano), we couldn’t get to the crater rim either. After all this commotion, we finally made it to these flats, took a deep breath, and had a ton of fun shooting with the Jeep. Travel can be unpredictable and not always go as planned, but I think that’s just another part of the challenge we all love right? At least it always makes for a good story.

I love going on hikes that have a specific end destination, a final reward for all the work it took to get there. Arriving to this insane view of lakeside mountains after hiking straight uphill for hours was about as rewarding as it gets. There’s just no place else like New Zealand.

Last light over Zion. Spent quite a bit of time up here just taking in the view and watching cars drive that windy road. Then we realized the sun was dropping fast, so I quickly snagged a couple photos before it dipped below the canyon walls. at Zion National Park
Swinging the evening away in one of my favorite places on planet Earth. Milford Sound is like stepping into a dream, with moody mountain peaks jutting out of the sea. I’ve been here twice, but I’m already planning a third return to do some longer day hikes and backpacking in the area.
