Did you know that if you’re craving a quick meal this @sainsburys crispy chilli beef 🇨🇳 is gluten free?! I turned it into a bit of a feast last night with homemade egg fried rice and crispy seaweed (deep fried cabbage). It was suppose to serve 2 but @mrs_lindsey_anderson was away so I ate it all myself 😂!

I’ve posted about @honestburgers a few times as it’s always been amazing for gluten free! But this post is a bit different because that amazing looking burger is actually vegan 🌱! I was sceptical but as we’ve started to reduce our meat intake and actively become flexitarian we decided to give it a go... And it was incredible, I honestly thought they’d got the order wrong at first, the texture and flavour is so meaty yet the @beyondmeat burgers are made from 💯 plant! It was soooo good. If this is the future of vegan food it’s certainly looking promising! Have you tried it yet? If so what did you think? at Honest Burgers

If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast in Bearsden outside Glasgow then I’d highly recommend @graceandfavourcoffee They could do the breakfasts with gluten free bread / toast. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked and you can’t beat Scottish smoked salmon. Went back and had eggs Royale which came with a luxurious hollandaise. Also look at that latte! Spot on 👌 at Bearsden Cross

I’ve seen this pop up on a few feeds in the last couple of days and today was a rare day that I needed to buy lunch so I thought I’d actually TRY it! It was totally delish, I actually said it might have been the best pre-packaged sandwich I’ve ever had, bold claim. I’m sure you’ll find it in an @marksandspencer near you 👍. Ps. Sorry about the dodgy pic, office lighting and eagerness to eat!

Absolutely spectacular meal @kotarestaurant in Portheleven, Cornwall for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. It’s a marriage of amazing Cornish produce and superb Asian cooking! Too much amazing good to describe everything but highlights for me were definitely the oysters with cucumber and rice wine granita! I also loved the spicy tomato gazpacho with a quenelle of crab. Better not forget the amazing cheese course which was a blue cheese ice cream! They adapted the menu to make everything gluten free really easily. I was particularly impressed with serving the salmon moose on crispy salmon skin 👌. Top notch cooking 😊 at Kota

If you’re looking for a gluten free full English in south Cornwall then look no further than Twisted Currant in Porthleven. Delicious full English, crispy hash browns, a tasty sauage and sautéed mushrooms the highlights! They also have a great selection of gluten free cakes available. Dog friendly too 🐕 at Twisted Currant

Superb gluten free fish and chips @frasersfishandchips in Penzance, Cornwall. Dedicated gluten free fryers, separate prep areas and clued up staff. Also an excellent, local, gluten free ale to wash it all down. Would definitely recommend! Dog friendly too 🐕 at Fraser's Fish & Chips Penzance

More pizzas! These are from @stablepizza and are totally delicious. There’s a few dotted around the south west, we went to one in Falmouth. It’s even arrived in London now, so be sure to check it out. The gluten free pizzas are on a tasty, crispy base. We went for a special ‘the Pork Forager’ which had a blue cheese base, with roasted pork loin, mushrooms, red onion and honey. One of the best ‘topped’ pizzas I’ve had! The other was the ‘Blazing Saddle’ with slow roasted pulled beef, smokey bacon, caramelised onions, roasted peppers, aioli and jalapeños! at The Stable Falmouth

Wow, what a meal @ricksteinrestaurants in Porthleven. We went for an early dinner and had the set menu. I was seriously impressed, simple but beautifully cooked food. We started with the smoked haddock, poached egg and potato curry. The egg perfectly poached to create an oozy sauce over the haddock. The star for me was a delicious piece of cod braised with peas, lettuce and spring onion with crispy pancetta. We finished with a vanilla panna cotta with exactly the right amount wobble, fresh raspberries, and a honeycomb and pistachio crumb. Beautiful food, great options for gluten free and Fizzy sat under the table well behaved too! Top marks ⭐️ at Rick Stein, Porthleven

I’ve eaten a lot of gluten free pizza 🍕 but this was definitely one of the best. Delicious base and made in a small place in Porthtleven, Cornwall called The Corner Deli. We shared a chorizo and chilli and a ham and pineapple. Totally delicious and filling too so had the best breakfast the next day - cold slice of pizza!

Yesterday we set off from London to Cornwall for a few days of relaxation. We wanted to find somewhere en route to stop for lunch and the venn diagram of dog friendly and gluten friendly places to eat suggested The Monkton Inn near Taunton. It was a seriously good gluten free menu that did all the usual off limits stuff such as deep fried Brie, calamari and fish and chips! It was owned by a South African though and there was some South African specials so when in Rome... We had a Durban Beef Curry full of spice and a Trinchada, beef cooked in a thick spicy onion gravy with chips! Really unusual but tasty food so if you’re in that neck of the woods definitely stop by. at The Monkton Inn

I did it! Half marathon finished in 1.53.49, a lot quicker than I thought I’d be! 😅 Thanks for all your support, especially my no.1 cheer leader Lindsey 😘 You can still sponsor me, link in bio 👍

Very brief stop in York last night but had some delicious Thai food so had to share. This was at a little place called Khoa San Road and was one of the best Thai meals I’ve had outside Thailand. Really delicious Pad Thai, packed with flavour and beautifully balanced. I started with a Tom Yum soup which had the perfect sourness and heat 👌 I managed to sneak in without a booking as I wasn’t staying long but they turned a lot of people away so book to avoid disappointment! at KhaoSan Rd. Thai Bistro

Love a beach day with @mrs_lindsey_anderson and Fizzy. Delicious gluten free fish and chips @no1cromer too at Cromer Beach

So Lindsey signed me up to a half marathon and now I actually have to do it! This is the furthest I’ll have ever run. I’ve also got the added pressure that Lindsey has done it before and so I’ve also got a time to beat! To help me get me round I’ve decided to raise money for Brain Research UK who do important research into neurological conditions. Your support will help give me that extra boost to reach the finish line, and hopefully beat Lindsey’s time! It’s all for a great cause and Aviva will match donations as well, so whatever you donate will be doubled! Link in bio, thank you!

Impromptu overnight stay in London after missing the last train meant buying some food on the go today! Was impressed with this gluten free chicken and bacon Caesar wrap from @marksandspencerfoodpr @marksandspencer Tasty and well filled! Although I’m sure they’re pricier in London than elsewhere!

Nearly every other picture on my phone is Fizzy asleep so here’s one @mrs_lindsey_anderson snapped of her awake! She’s such a poser at times 😍 #fizzy #dogs #dogsofinstagram #dogsofinsta
