When I have access to organ meats, I generally do my best to consume them. However, without wanting to sound like a total wuss, their taste, especially for nutrient heavy meats like liver etc. usually leaves a lot to be desired and that’s putting it kinda lightly..hahaha😝
Finally I’ve discovered a way to get my daily dose of liver without stepping on the toes of my dependence on bowing down to absolute mouth pleasure (yeah, I know, I really need to harden the fuck up😂)
Anyhow, simply freeze the raw liver, take out a portion, chop it up into small easy to swallow pieces, wash it down with some water and there you go. Bob’s your uncle, no mess, no fuss and easily down the hatchet she goes. Easy said and even easier done. After a few solid months of cruising under the radar due to some recovery and a few niggling injury complaints, it’s really nice to rebound a little with some better than my of late ‘average’ workouts.
Have even found myself packing on a few kgs while cruising fasted (omad) and running on predominantly animal based nutrition... Now honestly who would have thought!

Have you noticed that all the bad fats are some form of vegetable oil. Some people call them “industrial seed oils”
Olives and avocados are fruits, so they wouldn’t be considered a vegetable oil
Many people will tell you to avoid them but not many people tell you why
The reason why these vegetable oils are bad is because in order to be extracted they have to heat them at extremely high temperatures. This leads to oxidation. By the time these oils arrive in stores they have already gone rancid
They have also been shown to deplete vitamin K2 from the body. Vitamin K2 helps decalcify the arteries. Therefore, consuming vegetable oils can increase risk of heart disease
What’s The Best Fats To Cook With?
Saturated fat has been demonised a lot recently but saturated fat is actually the most stable form of fat
This is because the saturated fat molecule doesn’t contain any double bonds. This means it can be heated at very high temperatures without oxidising
So the best fats to cook with would probably be lard, tallow and coconut oil
Should you cook with olive oil?
Olive oil is mostly monounsaturated fat which is fine to put on foods but is not good to cook with. This is because, unlike saturated fat it contains double bonds. Meaning it oxidises when cooked at high temperatures
