Knocking doors will create a whole lot of unique experiences and meet lots of people you may never run into on your day to day. A couple days ago I knocked on this families door and through a translator app I got to know this Syrian family and hear the story of how this man and his wife were able to escape their war torn home city. They lost close loved ones through gun fire and the constant bombing. Even these children have memories of seeing buildings blown up.. Sometimes it's worth while to take some time and reflect on how amazing we have it living in North America and practice gratitude for the fact that you know when you go to bed you'll wake up with a roof over your head and a warm meal. Take some time out of your day today and just think about all the amazing opportunities we have and the safety we have in our country โœŒ๐Ÿผ
