Did you know a German submarine sunk the public ferry between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland during World War II? Here, two seagulls take flight off these huge overhanging sea cliffs as the sun disappears below the horizon. sᴇᴇ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴀᴛ... ᴊᴀᴋᴇɢʀᴀʜᴀᴍᴘʜᴏᴛᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ.ᴄᴀ at Newfoundland and Labrador

Larger Than Life. Flying over this glacier in Yukon was mind-blowing. In some kind of attempt to provide scale, this is five kilometres wide and part of the world's largest non-polar icefield. Beyond those storm clouds lies Canada's highest peak, Mount Logan. The draw of the north. Experiencing places like this has forever changed my perception of Canada. I knew it was an expansive and beautiful country, but not quite to this extent. Nothing substitutes experience, so get out there and see it for yourself. #aovlexaropenroad @lexarmemory @artofvisuals at Caribou Crossing

When you wake up for sunrise and the morning light does this 🌇👌 at Toronto, Ontario

Toronto's a great city regardless of how our sports teams do... but now that the @mapleleafs @raptors and @torontofc are all crushing it? It's even better. 🏒🏀⚽ at Toronto, Ontario

What's your dream Canadian trip? Describe yours in the comments below, and I'll choose a winner to plan and do (insert dream plan here) with. Would it include... Northern lights? Mountains? Ocean? Glaciers? Icebergs? Hiking? Skiing? Canoeing? Kayaking? Wildlife? Or some other combination entirely? Let's hear those ideas, and who knows, maybe we'll be here today and gone to Mayo · Bonus points and consideration to anyone who tags a travel buddy in their comment/entry sᴇᴇ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴀᴛ... ᴊᴀᴋᴇɢʀᴀʜᴀᴍᴘʜᴏᴛᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ.ᴄᴀ at Mayo, Yukon Territory

Morning clarity. 🌄 The first rays of the morning light up hoarfrost covered branches during a -20°C sunrise shoot earlier this winter #ImagesofCanada sᴇᴇ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴀᴛ... ᴊᴀᴋᴇɢʀᴀʜᴀᴍᴘʜᴏᴛᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ.ᴄᴀ at Muskoka, Ontario

The @FogoIslandInn off in the distance, framed by a series of melting icebergs arriving from Greenland. A few words that make you think, from Oceanlab: Are you hoping for a miracle As the icecaps melt away? No use hoping for a miracle... There's a price we'll have to pay. at Fogo Island, Newfoundland and Labrador

If I told you there's a place where you can see whales, dolphins and moose in a single day... would you go? #WHPlandscape at Newfoundland and Labrador

Crisp autumn air and warm light to start the day on the shores of the world's largest lake, Superior. 🌅 Have a great weekend! 🍻 @SonyAlpha A7Rii 📷 at Pukaskwa National Park

Here is a nice lake. One of Canada's finest, many might argue. But can we stop and take a minute to talk about the guy this lake is named after? He both fought in World War I and once raised orphaned cougar kittens through the Canadian winter in a remote cabin. And the rest of the time? A park ranger. Now, we carry on with admiring the nice lake... I sat here for a good hour waiting on the sun to come over the mountains on the morning of my birthday last year. Although it was the coldest sleep of my cross-Canada trip, I wouldn't have changed a thing about it. Other than maybe adding a steaming cup of coffee, but let's not get greedy here. @SonyAlpha A7R ii 📷 at Peyto Lake
