When the open road calls. #ImagesofCanada 🍁 at Dempster Highway and Arctic Circle

First light off Canada's east coast πŸŒ… While the west gets a lot of hype and attention, I recommend taking the time to uncover the hidden gems on the east coast too! The only road in Canada to cross the Arctic Circle, the Dempster Highway is equal parts rugged and beautiful. With limited provisions available and over 700km of dirt road once you leave the pavement, it's not for the faint of heart. Who would you want to roadtrip here with? #ImagesofCanada 🍁 Prints available at α΄Šα΄€α΄‹α΄‡Ι’Κ€α΄€Κœα΄€α΄.α΄˜Κœα΄α΄›α΄Ι’Κ€α΄€α΄˜ΚœΚ Captured using a @djiglobal drone with a @tiffencompany polarizer at Yukon

Paddling glacial waters in Alberta πŸ›ΆπŸ—» Although you can see part of this lake by boat tour, earning your views with each stroke of the paddle forces you to slow down and appreciate your surroundings more fully. After a few days of hail, fog and rain to start our trip, this day was like a dream. The sun came out, the water was like glass, and these clouds floated by all day, giving short shaded breaks from the strong summer sun. One of the world's most beautiful drives through the Rockies from Banff to Jasper, Alberta πŸš™ Extremely unfortunate to hear the news about a tragic crash on the parkway yesterday, taking the lives of six travelers. It took me over thirty countries visited before realizing just how incredible my own Canadian backyard really is. While it can be exciting to get out the passport and go somewhere far away, this often comes at the expense of truly getting to know your home country, especially with a place as vast as Canada. When I first reached this spot, I had difficulty putting into words what I was seeing. I still don't have the perfect way of describing a place like this, but the closest I've been able to get is: where Norway and Yosemite meet Canada.
