After marination the chicken was seared in a pan then baked for 18 minutes at 180 C While cooking i also prepared some rice and broccoli to go with it All up prep time was about 10 minutes, marination was 2 hours and cooking total was 20 minutes. After my last post and the response i got from some friends about cutting a pepper, i thought why not share some little tips on cooking. So this one will take a bit of extra prep time but if you have ever wondered how to get a nice round steak, have a read. Starting off with a trimmed tenderloin you want to grab some cling wrap and lay it out on a flat surface, place the tenderloin on the cling wrap and tightly roll it ensuring enough cling wrap is left either side to grip, proceed to grab said cling wrap and roll the tenderloin either towards or away from you while holding the ‘handles’ as demonstrated, fold the excess cling wrap under the rolled tenderloin then grab another piece of cling wrap and roll as tightly as possible. Leave the rolled meat in the fridge for a day or two to ‘set’ then proceed to portion to your desired size. This technique works with both tenderloin and cube roll (rib fillet) as well as many other cuts. #chef #cheflife #cheftips #cooking #homecooking #steak #perfectsteak #alwayslearning #knowledge
