Work with two epoxy resins is not the easiest task to figure out. I still really like to work with this medium as it requires you to neat and precise during the whole process. Even more rewarding is it when a base turns out nice and as you planed it to do.
I wrote a basic article about working with resin. Feel free to drop me a DM to get the free link.
My brain: "Let"s build a small scifi base"
Also my brain 3 hours later: "Well that escaleted quickly"
Soon ready to add foliage and plants.Do you recognise this little stone guy?
I should definitely build something small and challenging again. I soldered this small bird cage in 2017 so hard but incredibly rewarding...
Painting is a way to process emotions, things that make me happy or sad. As I painted these two Orangutan the big Forest Fires (that are still burning to this day btw) came to my mind more then once. Even if they life mostly in sumatra they where a constant reminder. The orange flicker in the eye of the little monkey is a symbol for those fires. I was thinking a lot about if I should share this story as I do not wanted to come around like I would use this fires as a way to gain attention.
I had the privilege to attend one of @masclans_miniatures he pushed me a lot in my knowledge about skin colours and understanding of volumes. This was the figure I worked on "Egilon" sculpted by the super talented @the_secret_workshop
I hope you like this WIP
Started a while ago suddenly inspiration hit again. I had troubles finding a good idea for a base to put this cool bear produced by @aradiaminiatures on. This changed and I am now pretty eager to start. You can also see the axe I custom build in the last two photos.
"Star Pilot 7" finished in 2019
I am so picky when it comes to the dimensions of busts. This one had just the right size.
Sculpted by @crazy_goblin_miniatures
I enjoyed painting these two so much. Painting animals is so different and a special challenge to me everytime.
The beautiful sculpting by @pederbartholdy made this painting such an inspiring and good experience.
Copies of this beautiful bust are available over at @robotrocketminiatures

I am particularly proud of this one, as it reprecents the way I want to create my dioramas.
Simple but effective. Hope you like it.

Under the sea under the sea....🎵🎶
Sometimes projects need some time till the are ready to be finished.
This one took quite a while. A few days back I felt the urge to pick it up again.
Do you have some projects like that on your own? What are your experiences whit projects like that ?
I really like to paint with watercolors beside all the scalemodel stuff sometimes.
Other perspectives, a different workflow and so much fun while creating.
I hope you like him. 🐞
It's (crystal)-hammer time
