Professional Pilot sharing my experiences with the world. ✈️

This weekend, well, Saturday was amazing... many many thanks to my friend 🛫@a_santiago561 for the invitation to tag along on a @pilotsnpaws 🐶 volunteer flight - it was the first I’ve done and was so happy to be a part of it.
Naturally being in the plane, I got some chances to wipe off some terribly clingy dust 🤧 off my wings. Quite humbling knowing psychomotor skill proficiency has diminished and trying to perform. 🧐 knowing what to do and actually making the plane emulate it becomes quite difficult again having to consciously make the actions I needed to. 🤓never stop learning.
Lastly, if you haven’t already, give my other page @themindfulnav a look to follow my 🙏 personal journey if you’re interested. Unfortunately, after Saturday, I’m realizing my symptoms are putting me in a position to not be able to take those kinds of opportunities in the future. I’m ready for my magic genie🧞♂️and some wishes. Till then ♥️ you all :)
I will never quit.
I will fight. I will seek answers. I will cry.
I’ll make you proud little guy.
Alright, not too shabby not too shabby. Shaking some dust off the ‘ole Nikon and seeing what I remember. What do you think? at Saint Petersburg, Florida
Much obliged to @a_santiago561 for introducing me to Jerrie, his beautiful Mooney. And of course for carrying the oh so delicate flower @blueskiesmco and I to River Ranch last night for dinner. Flying is precious. Moments are priceless. Wallow in them. at Saint Petersburg, Florida
Most of you all know how much I love my bike - super cheap to operate/maintain while rewarding a ton of fun. She’s been a bit of a time filler for me the last number of days and weeks while I slowly run out of productive things to do.
I’m unfortunately still out on med leave with no set return to work date and I’d be lying if I said this hasn’t been one of the most difficult times I’ve faced yet. There are days I wonder why I’m not cleared yet. And there are others I feel like a herd of elephants have stampeded on every inch of my body. It’s inconsistent. It’s seemingly plateaued. And all I want to do is fly planes.
In the meantime, I’ll keeping taking Delaney (my bike) out when I feel up to it and keep the optimism alive that I’ll get that 3rd dimension back in my life sometime soon!
It’s been a hot minute since getting to do what I love on a consistent basis. Memories like these help keep the dream and passion alive... Having a landing competition with @ryo_nino_ who’s been one of my favorite people to fly with. Clearly he proved me wrong with something here because I boo-ed and he laughed😂😂😂 Unfortunately we were constrained by dumb rules and policies by a particular school, but it didn’t stop us from have a great time within the gray areas 😜 looking forward to visiting you in Japan at some point buddy!
So let me tell you about this guy right here. I got an e-mail in April 2011 as I was graduating high school to let know who my roommates would be in college. Naturally I Facebook stalked him. Kid you not, this guy had some sketch-looking stuff and he was either going to be really fucking creepy or really fucking cool. Thankfully it was the latter and we’ve been good friends for almost a decade.
It’s near impossible for us to have <1hr conversation. If it weren’t for my new routine’s 9pm bedtime, we would’ve talked for 2+ hours last night. The guy is making it in New York and I have no doubt he’ll become the film director he’s always dreamed of becoming. He’s insightful and has the vision to make it happen.
Ladies and gentlemen, @azizirodney at Brooklyn, New York
Sharing drinks and some salt air on an absolutely beautiful day in Cocoa. Waiting for the falcon heavy launch tonight 🚀 at City of Cocoa Beach
Big big BIG announcement coming... 😍 Think the picture gives it away, but I’ll pretend I’m holding you in suspense!
Throwback to the warm summer days in Mulino, OR during a fly-in. To say I was super jealous of the woman who owned this stunning 170 is an understatement. Just look at it glisten 😍 wish I could’ve logged some hours in it with LogTen Pro! #LogTenLife at Mulino, Oregon
It’s 80 degrees in St Petersburg, FL. Delaney and I have been enjoying each other tearing up the streets running a few errands and meeting @celtic_flyer2 for lunch. She’s the most fun I can have while I’m restricted by gravity for a bit longer than I expected. Beyond ready to get back into the cockpit... #kawasaki #ninja #650 #burntcandyorange at Saint Petersburg, Florida
I think this was my last day flying the T210. Took @sierra_foxtrot_flights on his first flight with her and he proved he could handle the plane beautifully. This was climbing out of #portangeles on one of the the clearest days we had in the PNW in the summer. Just off the left wing and to the north a few miles, Canada 🇨🇦 called. But.. we thought we’d save that for another time. at Port Angeles, Washington
I mean... not total hogwash. Everyone knows planes fly on PFM. Aerodynamics is a coverup just like “contrails” are for our daily dose of government sponsored chemtrailing.
A321 panel all beautifully lit up coming in on arrival into Orlando.
Tad bit cold out, but it’s always warm in the sun. Beautiful riding day! at St. Pete Beach, Florida
Quick refueling before the sun goes to sleep for the night. at Manatee, Florida
It’s important to never forget from whence you came. Taking a few moments to celebrate the tiny moments in life with @randsnell . Flying over St. Pete at sunset in a ‘70 Beech Baron. Thank you.
Sooooo close! We’re getting there, Jake. We’re getting there in the most effed up path. But we’re getting there... at Chicago O'Hare International Airport
