I have Osteoarthritis BUT it doesn’t have me! Semi-Annual Synvisc injections today. ~ There are SO many options to be active, modifications (I know to some of us that’s a bad word, but they are still hard!) Don’t sit back watching others do all the things you thought you couldn’t. What did I learn from the 80 Day Workout program I completed a few weeks ago? 💪🏻I can do hard things-like getting up an extra hour early 💪🏻The kids can actually get their own cereal if they have to 🤭 💪🏻The kids will brush their teeth and get dressed without me standing there 💁🏻‍♀️ 💪🏻It is ok to run errands grubby, I’ll feel better going to the store sweaty 💦with a workout than clean without one 💪🏻I need to vary my routine, the one from 2010 is not working anymore 🤣 💪🏻 I can put me first and not feel bad 👏🏻 💪🏻Why? My kids absolutely refuse to eat raspberries that are even slightly mushy! Frankly I don’t love them either. Of course I got the giant container this time too! So I’m trying them in my water instead. The flavored sparkling waters are my favorite, but in an effort to eliminate artificial sweeteners I’m trying to make regular H2O 💧 more appealing. What do you like to diffuse in your water? Anybody else feel like they hardly see their older kids in the summer? ☀️Mine is always on the go with his buddies 👬 and when he is home it’s seems to always be right when I’m in the middle of something, making dinner or cleaning up from dinner. ⛳️ Yesterday he asked if I’d take him out to play a few holes after Jr. Golf. My brain was thinking 🧠 “no I have too much to do”, but then my ❤️ remembered what I just said above so I said “Sure”. ⛳️ I had the BEST time with these boys 💙💙💙. I only won by 1 stroke, and that was with 2 mulligans 😂, it took 1 1/2 hours to play 3 holes, but it was the BEST I’ve played so far this year and one of the BEST summer days yet 🏌🏼‍♀️. ⛳️ To hear them say how good I was (🤭) and when one of them asked if I would I take them again because it was so fun really made my week. Are you a circle ⭕️ or a square 🔲? I was just asked this recently. I know I’m not a circle 🚫 I’ll never be dancing around while I’m working out 🏋🏻‍♀️ if you watch my stories (if you don’t you should!!!) you know that, I don’t listen to music while I do my Netflix of workouts either, I listen to the instructor 👩‍🏫 (rule follower 🙋🏻‍♀️). But I don’t feel like I’m a square ❌ either because I do love having fun and am definitely not frugal 🛍 So it’s solved, I’m a triangle 🙆🏻‍♀️! I’m a little bit of both. I’m not perfect. Crap! I hate to admit that out loud 🤭. I’m an only child, and we don’t like to admit stuff like that. I finished my 80 day workout plan on Saturday, yes I’m happy with my arms 💪🏻, my booty 👖 and my ab 👙definition. I would have NEVER worn solid color leggings that were not black before, and definitely not RED ❤️ ones. BUT...I got a little greedy. Because I was seeing results so early on and I wasn’t missing a workout, I thought I could get a little lax on my nutrition (Do as I say not as I do 😬). It was easy to slip back into bad habits of skipping lunch🚫 🥙 when I was busy or overeating healthy food 🥘 🐷at dinner and it matters! My results at the end aren’t a whole lot different they were in weeks 2 or 3 and that’s on me. Why am I sharing this? Yes, I could say that I got the best results possible and I followed the program to a T, but I’d be LYING 🤥 and that is not me. What you see is what you get. It’s not the programs fault, it’s mine 🙋🏻‍♀️. Do you look at me and think, she probably doesn’t have to workout🏃🏽‍♀️, she can eat 🍪whatever she wants? That couldn’t be farther from the truth! I have to work every bit as hard as you and I make mistakes too. The difference between me now and the old me is that I have the knowledge and the tools to do better and I’m going to use them! I’ve tightened the reigns. Meal planned , prepped and am fully on board with my new fitness and nutrition program starting TODAY (yesterday actually) and I’m going to NAIL this one. I have not failed, I’ve just found a few more things to add to the 100’s of things I already know don’t work 😂 . . Late night snacking 🌮, too much 🍷 and not enough 😴 in Indy over the weekend led to an unwelcome number on the scale Monday 🤭 . All I have to do is look 👀 at or smell 👃🏻 snacks and I gain weight ⚖️, feel lethargic 😴 or both, I have my under active thyroid to thank for that! . The old me would have let this one little set back turn into days or weeks of slip ups. Thankfully due to my new mindset 🥦🥕🥒 and utilizing the tools in my toolkit, I got right back on track 🚞 . What do I do when I fall off the wagon? I GET BACK TO BASICS! I stopped feeling bad about it, hit my workout 🏋🏻‍♀️, got a solid meal 🥘 plan in place, meal prepped 🥗to reset myself mentally and physically. . . I’m so thankful to have these tools to keep me looking and feeling my best, I love sharing what works for me with others, if I’m able to help one other person feel good about themselves it’s a victory!
