➡️➡️Did you spot the Rainbow? 🌈 🌈. .An Epic Swiss Landscape. Beautiful alpine lake surrounded by peaks exceeding height of 3,500 meters or 11,000 feet. This is one the most epic spot I have ever hiked up to with my friend, @sky_trotter, the smooth landing operator. You can try to find him in the picture, he’s there somewhere, trying to look cool. This was quite a difficult hike for me as I am not an alpine goat. When work settles down, I’m going to train to do more of these beautiful hikes. Sleeping under the stars and waking up to this scene is something I would really like to do on a regular basis. at Switzerland

Please read caption the before posting “🔥’s, ❤️’s, 🙌🏻’s, and fist bumps”. This one is near and dear to my ❤️. For my fellow travelers and wanderlust. - - 🇲🇲My beautiful home country, Myanmar 🇲🇲.- . These temples and stupas have been around for hundreds of years and many of them are still standing in amazing conditions against the test of time. Many years ago, travelers can roam around the ancient city of Bagan with little restrictions. Some of these temples even have hidden stairs that lead to a view on the roof. Explorers and tourists often hire guides to show them these spots to watch the sunset and enjoy these amazing panoramic views.- . Over the years, shares of the location of these spots over social media and blogs have made it entirely possible for massive numbers of travelers and tourists to gain easy access to these fragile locations. - Before long, crowds begin to form, damage and destruction follows. Many even fall to their deaths from the tops of these temples. All for some selfies and images of themselves dangling on the sides of these temples.- As expected, the local government begins curbing access to these locations by posting guards, imposing fees, and adding restrictions.- . Now it’s off to the races, explorers and adventurers look for more places to avoid the restricted ones—causing more damage. Local authorities retaliate by imposing more restrictions and limitations.- Was it worth it? For a selfie? For a picture? Can we be respectful and consider the cultural value beautiful places like this has to offer? Or will we just take and deny future travelers access to the beauty we so-dearly enjoy. .- What if the roles were reversed in the future? What if the place you really wanted to visit is now closed off, fenced off, restricted, and limited because previous travelers ruined it for you? Please, when you visit a place, consider the impact and footprint you create. And please share this message with others. I wish so very much for places I visited and wish to visit in the future to be open and unrestricted— much in the same way you have enjoyed these places. Pay it forward. at Myanmar

PLEASE READ THE CAPTION.🗻🌄.- . Let’s take a moment to consider and reflect upon some serious issues that we (photographers, and consumers of digital media) create while sharing our images and causing unintended consequences. . In this image, as I try to convey the feelings of beauty, tranquillity, and inspiration, the reality could not be further from the truth.- 📍 . This image was taken during the Cherry Blossom season; in the peak of tourism month in Japan. This image features a trifecta of Japanese scenery; a multistory pagoda on the right, surrounded by full bloom cherry blossom trees with the beautiful Mount Fuji in the backdrop. . When I arrived at this location 3 hours before sunrise, I was absolutely surprised to find 30 other photogs — tripod to tripod, shoulder to shoulder. It is completely packed with no available spots. . As sunrise approaches, more aspiring photographers who wish to add this scene to their bucket list shows up. By sunrise, there were hundreds of people here pushing each other, all trying to take the same exact image. Now I am starting to feel a bit more agitated. It is not peaceful, it is not tranquil, and certainly it is not inspirational. . I think to myself, what I am contributing to? And what kind of effect am I creating by sharing an image like this without the proper context? What kind of environmental damage am I going to cause by tagging this location? . We recently seen the damages in Lake Elsinore during the spring flower bloom. We have seen the same problems at the famous Horseshoe bend where 1000+ visit PER DAY. We have seen countless other examples where social media inspires and drives people to these locations. But, ultimately causes damage and destruction to the very places we love. Not to mention the millions of gallons of fossil fuel we burn for transportation. . Where do we draw the line between sharing the images we love and protecting the places we love? How do we decide to be more responsible? I don’t have the answers here. I want to bring awareness to all of you in this ever-connected social media. I want you to be more mindful before tagging a location, and I want you to think twice before sharing. at Mount Fuji - 富士山, Fujisan
