"Sometimes, when I get nervous, I stick my hands under my armpits and I smell them like this!" -Mary Katherine Gallagher, Superstar
I've often heard that a lot of deodorant can be harmful. I don't have much personal knowledge on what is truth or myth, and I don't give off a lot of body odor anyway, so I just don't wear any unless I come across ones with natural ingredients. If you've been around me and completely disagree with my body odor statement, but have been too nice to say anything about it, you're in luck because @honestlyphresh sent me their Prebiotic Deodorant Sticks in 'Sugar Mint' and 'Barely Sweet' to try out.
These along with their other deodorant products can be found at your local @wholefoods , and described as natural deodorants for men and women: *Free from aluminum, parabens, pthlataes, glycol, gluten, GMOs, artificial color, synthetic fragrance, and baking soda *24-hour protection *Made in the USA *Cruelty-free & vegan
So far, I'm diggin' the fresh scent of the 'Sugar Mint'. It applies well, I've experienced no irritation, and at $9.99, it's definitely a more affordable price than some of the other natural deodorants I've tried in the past.
Full disclosure. This was gifted to me for review. However, whether a product is gifted or personally purchased by myself, I always give my honest thoughts.

They have more than 100 different products, which I can appreciate because everyones' skin is unique. What works for me may not work for you, and the fact that they are incredibly affordable makes trying different products less of an investment while figuring out what you enjoy best.
Got questions? Just shoot me a line! I would also love to hear your experiences with this brand! *CRUELTY FREE

I'm wearing her 'Moonstone Ring' here, She casts this 22ct gold plated ring herself and I love how the raw detail of the coral branch adds an earthy, bohemian feel to this sophisticated piece. This was not my planned post for the day, but this seemed like a more important topic to address than my usual content. I have a lot of friends and family who live in the Pensacola area or are service members. I have no idea if today's event directly effected any of you, but my thoughts are with you, the local law enforcement who risked their lives, certainly for those who were injured, and of course for those who ultimately lost their lives.
I woke up to my building fire alarm going off and had to evacuate this morning. I was incredibly annoyed to find out that It ended up being a false alarm. Upon hearing about the shooting minutes later, I seriously felt like such an unappreciative brat. People are dying and I had the audacity to be irritated that my apartment was not actually on fire.
I don't know if the Pensacola community is planning an event or any fundraisers are being put together, but I would love to know if anyone has information regarding that.
If you're not from the area, I'm sure words of kindness or support would be appreciated by those who are. **I already saw someone make an incredibly insensitive comment on a different post, but I will NOT tolerate any racist or xenophobic remarks. NONE.
I think I first started using this Brightening Eye Cream around April when @neostatra sent it to me?
I've never been shy of being barefaced, but I have the worst dark circles under my eyes, and I hate it. It is my absolute, biggest cosmetic concern, ranking far above aging, acne, dryness, keratosis, etc. My skin tans very quickly, so during the warmer months, the darkness doesn't appear as much, but once the temperature drops and I am spending more time indoors, the contrast against my fairer complexion is stark. I start looking like Edward Scissorhands in a cuter outfit. I know I've said that I am hesitant to use injectables, but I've heard great things about under eye fillers as a remedy. So I am not going to lie, if it wasn't a hefty $1000, I would probably do it because I hate them that much. For now though, I've been sticking to concealer and exploring topical skincare methods. In my hunt, this is the only eye cream I've used that has worked for me. I'm not going to make any sensationalized claims. I don't want anyone to have unrealistic expectations, because there is no topical product that is going to magically erase dark circles. However, this is the only eye cream I've used that did visibly help minimize their appearance after long-term, consistent use, as well as puffiness. At $62, it's a much more budget friendly and needle free option.

I know it's not a Christmas movie, but I always want to watch Mean Girls when I see candy canes "Four for you, Glen Coco! You go, Glen Coco! 💄 I unboxed the @lookfantasticus Advent Calendar last month, and I finally got a chance to try out most of the products. These are the ones that I liked most so far and the second image are of ones that just didn't work for me. I'm not saying they were bad. Example being The Caudalie Vinopure Clear Skin Puriying Toner which contains salicylic acid. I don't have problems with acne, so this isn't something that targets my skincare goals, but might be great for those who do experience breakouts. I've been pressed for time, but will have more in depth reviews of everything in the next few weeks!

I love the cut and color of this peice! Unfortunately, this wasn't my favorite picture of it. I did not wear pasties underneath and Instagram has decided that because I was born with a vagina, I do not have the same privileges as a man. Evidently, life sustaining female nipples are somehow inappropriate in comparison to the functionless male nipples.
I personally find cargo shorts and Crocs offensive regardless of gender, and somehow I endure. at San Diego, California,USA
Here's a splurge worthy product from @neostrata for winter skin
I've used several products from this brand, but this is the first time I tried the Smooth Surface Glycolic Peel ($72)
Reduces the appearance of fine lines, uneven pigmentation, roughness and pore
I love glycolic acid. My skin is on the sensitive side, so exfoliating scrubs will sometimes irritate it. Glycolic acid is actually more gentle, has anti-aging benefits, great for acne prone skin, and helps your skin absorb other products better.

They will be launching in the United States soon, so I'm getting an exclusive preview to test the V-Lifting mask & Eyemask as they get ready to launch in the states. They are formulated with collagen & hyaluronic acid and the fabric has a very luxe feeling designed to help nourish and "lift" skin.
Other features: •Caffeine to aid in flexibility of skin
•Glaucine (natural ingredient) to increase effects of Caffeine •Phosphatidylcholine (PPC, natural ingredient)
•Tartaric Acid to help balance skin PH and absorption of active ingredients *This product was gifted for review at San Diego, California
I absolutely do not judge anyone who uses injectables. More power to you. I've just always had this personal fear of having a Goldie Hawn in First Wives Club reaction to them and would like to avoid that route if possible. I'm all about trying to maintain my skin by using anti-aging products before it reaches that point, so I've been looking forward to using this Repair & Lift Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizing Serum ($200) from @earthen_skincare ! 🌱
This is formulated with ultra-effective peptides to boost collagen and elastin in your skin, which is something I am always looking for since entering my 30's. I was a little nervous about trying new products after I had a skin flare up from some makeup the other week, but this uses natural ingredients, and was thankfully very gentle on my skin! It's also designed to help reduce dark eye circles, which is my biggest skincare concern.
As always, I'll have a full review of this serum once I've emptied it, but this is looking like another winner!
Other points to note:

I want to share pictures in cozy sweaters and warm, pumpkin flavored beverages, but I'm not going to even pretend it's anywhere near cold in SoCal. I'm still in sundresses, so I picked out this cute flamingo Bagnet from @thebagnet "Sport" collection since it seemed most appropriate for my woven beach bags, and reminds me of my parents in Florida! I have a classic leather version ($24.99) which was one of my favorite accessory finds last year, but I might like this one a little better. It's stronger, so I can use it for heavier items or for a gym bag and the silicone rubber makes it easier to clean. Overall, it's a better fit for more active lifestyles and it's actually priced lower at just $19.99!
I think figuring out where to put your bag while you're out has been a problem that EVERY girl and some guys have dealt with, making this such a useful bauble, and was why I included it on my list of 'best stocking stuffers' last year!

I meant to do a review and mini tutorial with these weeks ago, but I had to reshoot almost everything I did the last few months due to some technical difficulties that may or may not be a result of my own stupidity. I'll have to do the full look later, but I did want to at least share these products from the Pixi Pretties collection of cosmetics including:

The packaging of these @boutijour_official skincare products are probably some of my favorites I encountered this year. It's such an elegant and modern aesthetic! The previous week, I had a nasty reaction to some stuff I put on my face. I was not looking cute, but it did reminded me of why I love Korean skincare. They really cater to skin that is on the sensitive side, and @boutijour specifically, makes it a point to also use natural ingredients. I tried the following:
Snow Lotus Lifting Serum ($78)
Petals of Botanique Wash Off Tightening Mask + Bouti Brush ($62)
Lotus Melight Eye Patch / 66 patches ($60)
X-Lifting Mask ($55)
I'm in the mindset of not trying to look younger, but to look the best I can for my age. This collection is formulated to 'lift", target wrinkles, sagging, blemishes, and fatigued skin concerns, but is still gentle. A factor that is heavily on my mind after my skin calamity last week. Questions on any of these? You can DM me, drop a line below, or just check out @boutijour_official on your own. This is a good one, so I'm hoping to try some of there other products in the near future!

I love how @kelleyhollis often uses curated vintage finds in her jewelry designs, so I decided on a more modern take of Mrs. Wheeler's 80's makeup look from season 3 of Stranger Things to showcase these 22ct gold, 'Modernist' earrings ($85). If you haven't already noticed from my recent feed, I've been pairing them with everything! She personally casts this design, but also has so many stunning one-of-a-kind pieces. I also have a beautiful gold, coral branch, ring with moonstone accent I'll be sharing soon. I'm thinking a beachy, mermaid look? at San Diego, California
Skincare is essential, makeup is a choice.
So today we have @veorganics Organic Camu Camu Anti-Aging Facial Serum + Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid ($37)
The formula contains organic ingredients with Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, and high concentration of Vitamin-C from camu camu, to create a hybrid serum that fights aging, moisturizes, and tones. First impression on this product have been good so far. Packaging is very simple and clean, while the serum itself absorbs well into my skin. I LOVE the bright, citrus fragrance of this one. It adds a burst of energy, especially for my morning routine this last week.
I also appreciate that @VeOrganics is committed to developing products that are free of parabens, synthetics, fragrances and artificial ingredients. All products are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and cruelty-free! at San Diego, California
