"My first ever trip camping under the stars and shooting this wonderful location. We had planned to shoot here for some time, but unfortunately the conditions never seemed to be in our favour. With the dry and hot weather we had been seeing, we waited for a little rain to fill the surrounding pools with water. Luckily the previous week, Kosciusko received around 100mm of rain which certainly guaranteed our chances to have some water around the Tor. This trip personally was a little milestone for me. About 10 months prior to this trip l had suffered a serious back injury which left me debilitated and unable to move around freely and hindered my ability to get out and shoot. After 9 months of rehabilitation, my back had improved and now allows me to get out and enjoy these kind of activities." - @thomas_lucht Camera: Nikon #D810 Lens: Nikkor AF-S 14-24 f/2.8G ED Milky Way Settings: ISO 3200 | 14mm| f/2.8 | 20s Foreground Settings: ISO 64 | 16mm | f/11 | 10 sec #nikon #mynikonlife #nikonnz #astrophotography #landscapephotography #kosciusko

"Had the chance to shoot this awesome location during our 15 day tour of the South Island of New Zealand back in 2017. This area is known for its constant days of rain fall and bad weather. We had a break in the weather while we were here and ventured out on low tide that had left a large number of puddles that allowed us to capture reflections." - @thomas_lucht Camera: Nikon #D810 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Settings: f/14 | 8s | ISO 64 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonAustralia #NikonTop #Photography #DSLR #LandscapePhotography #WaterPhotography #DiscoverNewZealand

"This image was taken in Chile around the Torres Del Paine area and you can see the ferocious winds that tend to blast the peeks and ridge lines of the surrounding mountains. Condors are also know to glide majestically around these parts of the world and l was fortunate enough have captured one gliding at the peak of these mountains." - @thomas_lucht Camera: Nikon #D810 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Settings: f/10 | 1/1000s | ISO 64 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonNZ #NikonTop #Photography #DSLR #LandscapePhotography #MountainPhotography #NaturePhotography #Patagonia

"This was shot on my first visit to Broome. It is an incredible location for aerial photography due to the vibrant colours and incredible textures that are created by the massive tides that characterise the Kimberley. Tip: For aerial photography, shoot with a high shutter speed to help reduce the impact of aircraft vibration on your images." - @tystedmanphoto Camera: Nikon D810 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR Settings: 70mm | 1/2000sec | f/5.6 | ISO 160 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonTop #Photography #AerialPhotography #VisitBroome #DiscoverBroome #LandscapePhotography #DSLR

"Google Earth is an important tool for photographers looking to find new and unique compositions. It’s nice to find a place in the middle of nowhere to shoot by yourself and disconnect from world. In this image, I tracked the Milky Way and blended the foreground that was taken during blue hour to get the cleanest, and sharpest image." - @knightysphotography Camera: Nikon  #D810 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Milky Way Settings: ISO 800 | 14mm| f/4 | 300s Foreground Settings: ISO 64 | 24mm | f/11 | 13s #MyNikonLife  #Nikon  #NikonNZ  #NikonTop  #Photography  #AstroPhotography  #LandscapePhotography

"Each summer, thousands of salmon make the strenuous journey from the sea to breed in the upper reaches of Alaska's rivers. Brown bears, like the one pictured here, have their own journeys to complete before the long winter months ahead. Salmon are very important to these bears' diets and they can eat 80 to 90 pounds of food per day during the summer and fall in order to stock up for the much colder, less forgiving winter season. This female brown bear is planning on doing exactly that, as she fishes salmon for her and her cub in the shallows of Lake Clark National Park." - @taylorgrayphoto Camera: Nikon D750 Lens: AF Zoom-NIKKOR 80-200mm f/2.8D ED Settings: 1/2000th sec | f/5.6 | ISO 2000 #Nikon #MyNikonlife #NikonNZ #NikonD750 #Photography #WildlifePhotography #Nikkor #NikonTop #NikonPhotography

"Hiroshima-Jō is a picturesque castle in the city of Hiroshima. Its grounds are abundant with cherry blossom trees making it a prime spot for painters and photographers alike who flock to Japan for the blooming of the Sakura. After a few hours scouring the area for the best angle and consistently taking almost the exact same shot as every other photographer in the area I remembered a key part of photography; pause and asses. Patience paid off as I found the composition and the angle I liked. The fantastic timing of an eagle flying overhead topped it off and made the other few hundred or so shots worth it." - @mitch_lamm_photography Camera: Nikon D810  Lens: AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II  Settings: 102mm | f/5.6 | 1/160 sec | 100 ISO #MyNikonLife  #Nikon  #NikonNZ #Photography  #NikonTop  #Hiroshima #CherryBlossom  #NIKKOR #NikonPhotography  #DSLR

"I have probably spent more than 1000 hours in the ocean, with only a handful of opportunities to capture a shot like this. A myriad of elements have to line up; such things as weather conditions, marine life presence, light direction and water clarity all have to be perfect. Not to mention actually being in the ocean with the camera set up when such an occurrence happens." - @jamesvodicka Camera: Nikon D750 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f/4G ED VR Settings: f/4, ISO 400 |1/320sec #MyNikonLife  #Nikon  #NikonNZ #NikonTop  #NikonPhotography #NikonPhotographers  #NIKKOR  #Photography  #NikonPhotographer   #DSLR  #WaterPhotography #AquaPhotography

"I always find the best shots come unplanned. After being disappointed Yosemite was blanketed in thick smoke from nearby wildfires, the smoke lifted creating the perfect conditions for some amazing shots in the haze." - @calvlife Camera: Nikon #D3400 Lens: AF-P DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G Settings: f/10 | 1/160s | ISO 400 #MyNikonLife #Nikon #NikonNZ #NikonTop #Photography #Yosemite #LandscapePhotography #WildlifePhotography

"While photographing a clutch of Emperor penguins on the sea ice off the coast of Antarctica I noticed a group of three adults approaching me. Knowing they are very curious birds I decided to drop my tripod down to their eye level and backed away to see what might happen. Using my backup camera, a #Nikon D700, I managed to grab several fun shots of the penguins as they explored my gear!" - @westlightimages #NikonNZ
