Focus. That is the greatest key to maximizing gains. It’s very hard. To truly stay focused. Every part of the rep. Muscle engaged. Absolutely no movement. Before every exercise brace your entire body. Legs, glutes, core, scapula retracted and focus all you energy on contracting the muscle with the weight. High reps. I’m telling ya. High rep training. Try and do a focused set. 50 reps. Slow controlled. Breath. And focus on keeping the tension. Focus on contracting the muscle at every part of the rep. Focus on breathing. Focus on bracing. Focus. Do planks. Everyworkout. Plank. And learn how to properly. Everything starts from the core. Learn to engage the different parts of the core but most importantly the transverse abdomnius. So key. Every exercise you do, your core should be engaged. Focus on that the next time you train. Keep your core and glutes engaged every exercise and set the base. Always set the base. Stabilizing is beyond key. Master the plank. Make a list. Get organized. Organization is key. The more structure the more results the less time wasting. One of the most constructive tools I give to my clients is to teach them the importance of time blocking and making certain things a priority. I also believe that you should really try and keep your house/room/car as clean as organized as possible. Now I have severe ocd that has led me to be quite extreme but man. The energy and the clear mind you get when your sanctuary is tight. Try it. Cleanse your space, organize your files get on a routine and watch your life change. It’s takes time but build habits. You might not have time for a 60min gym work out but doing a simple at home work or an active walk outside. Wake up early or go right after work. Lunch time. Night time. Anytime. Make it a priority. I have always found its better to focus on one goal and hit it hard then trying to do both. Building muscle takes a certain style of training and eating vise versa on losing fat. I’m not saying go and hit up a mad dirty bulk to build muscle. Na. Need the nutrient based food always but you’ll never ever grow if you don’t eat. Period. Keep it clean. Lift correctly. Boy o boy o boy where do I even begin hahaha. Like honestly don’t even know where to start or what to say but what a fucking battle. What a journey and couldn’t be more excited for the future. Over a year ago today this whole process started. The ups the downs. The mental stress and the emotional torture. The internal battles, self doubt, sleepless nights, personal relationships damaged and literally lost all contact with family and friends. I believe that we go through suffering in life in order to learn and appreciate the positive moments. Life is not supposed to be great all the time. In fact most of the time it’s hard and unfair. STATE OF MIND. That is in my opinion the major key in finding happiness in life. No matter what situation or circumstance you find yourself in through out your life always think about your state of mind. You have one life. And essentially 2 choices. Either hate your life and be disappointed in things you don’t have or complain about what you want. Be a negative energy. OR. Enjoy it. Love it. Appreciate the hard times. Be thankful for who you are and what you have. Because the hard times are what make you stronger and more grateful. This experience has taught me that, and I am not the same man I was a year ago today. The whole journey has got me mentally ready for the task at hand. VIP Fitness&Lifestyle is something special and I couldn’t be more proud of my team and am so excited to share to everyone the views we have in general well being and overall health/ happiness.
