Views of the Peruvian Andes courtesy of photographer @brendinkelly 😱😱 "Being at 4500 meters (14700 feet) in the Peruvian Andes and taking photos is something I dreamed of for so long. Experiencing shortness in breath, fatigue, and nausea is something no one can prepare for, but I am so glad I got to experience this incredible place and the beautiful country of Peru" | #SonyAlpha a7 III | 16-35mm 2.8 GM | 24mm | f5 | 160 sec | ISO 160 | #BeAlpha at Peru
The Flatiron Building, a staple spot for photography in New York, captured by talented photographer @henbu_. Here's a tip to use next time you find yourself taking pictures at a popular location👉🏽 "Something I like to keep an eye out for is reflections. Using water, windows, mirrors or any type of reflective surface can transform your photo into a work of art." -@henbu_ | a7 III | 16-35mm f4 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at New York, New York
Photographer @nickdidlick shares some of the results after having the opportunity to test out the new 600mm F4 G Master lens. "These two orphaned Grizzly Bears, who live in a sanctuary on Grouse Mountain (near Vancouver, B.C.), were a perfect test for the new Sony 600mm F4 G Master OSS lens. I wanted to test the overall sharpness from this new Super Telephoto and grizzly bears with their dark fur were the perfect test subjects, and I was impressed, very impressed." | #SonyAlpha a7R III | 600mm F4 GM | #BeAlpha
"The shots were all taken on the Sony a7R III with the 600mm f/4. I wasn’t only impressed by the image quality, but that the AF was able to Eye Track AF on the grizzly bears most of the time. Sony says it works on cats and dogs, but to see it lock onto a grizzly bear’s eye was amazing. Taking photos of bears in the wild is a heart-racing experience, and most make the mistake of not watching the AF or holding a camera steady, with the a7R III or the a9 and the industry-leading AF its just one less thing to worry about." #SonyAlphaAnimalPortrait at Grouse Mountain
Thirty seconds at this classic Copenhagen spot captured by talented photographer @andy_draeger 👉🏽 "I was waiting for the sunset and went along the canal for a good spot. I was lucky because there were boats driving on the canal. It took some try but I got my final shot with nice light trails. I love to blur the clouds and smooth the water with the help of a long exposure." | #SonyAlpha a7R II | 16-35mm F4 | 16mm | f10 | 30 sec | ISO 80 | #BeAlpha at Nyhavn, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Pro sports photographer and photojournalist Nick Didlick (@nickdidlick/@asportspro) shares, “I am super excited about Sony's new lens announcements the 600 f/4 and the 200-600 f/5.6~f/6.3. As a Pro Sports Photographer, I have always loved the 600mm focal length, but the new Sony 600mm's weight and more importantly, balance is at the head of the class in 600mm lenses. The surprise for me was the new Sony 200-600 f/5.6~f/6.3 excellent lenses for outdoor sports, airshow and wildlife photography. Both these lenses join the fast expanding, top of class image quality group of Sony Mirrorless lenses.” #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha

At first, it was cloudy so I decided to wait for a break in the clouds. Eventually, the sky cleared and the sun lit up the landscape, illuminating blue and green tones that contrasted with the waves crashing against the rocks." | a7 II | 16-35mm f4 | 16mm | f13 | 1/250 sec | ISO 100 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Ponta De são Lourenço - Madeira
Twice the beauty captured by photographer @lukaszagu 😏 “At the end of March, I had a wonderful journey to Barcelona, Spain. During my first day exploring the city, I saw the Arc de Triomf and immediately had a vision in my head of capturing her as my main subject with the reflection on the ground and no people in the background. The next day I woke up at 6 a.m. and went for hunting to get this shot. By the way, if there is nothing that can reflect the subject that you want then use your phone screen.” | #SonyAlpha a6500 | 28mm f2 | f4 | 320 sec | ISO 250 | #BeAlpha at Arc De Triomphe Barcelone
Classic New York views shared by #AlphaCollective member @nyroamer 🏙 "This building is in Midtown west of Manhattan. It’s an architectural masterpiece- built in French Renaissance style, with elaborate terra-cotta ornamentation covering the entire facade. This building is situated on the corner, which gives an amazing vantage point to capture the crosswalk, traffic, pedestrians, cyclists, and the energy of NY. I find that if I crouch down low from across the street when shooting, I can capture the enormity of the building, combined with the pedestrians in the crosswalk. The wide-angle lens does a phenomenal job of getting it all into the frame, with the backdrop of the outstanding architecture. The further and lower I position myself from the subject, the more it accentuates the contrasting scale, which is what I love." | a7 II | 28-70mm | 28mm | f4 | 1/160 sec | ISO 500 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at New York, New York

The recent release of the firmware 3.0 update brought Animal Eye AF technologies to the #SonyAlpha a7R III and a7 III camera bodies, changing the game for animal photographers. Photographer @theanthonycastro shares more on this update, "I think it's safe to say that when photographing animals, the photographer has very little control of the exact outcome. It's not as easy as asking your model to look a certain way or how to position their arms. That is why Sony’s Animal Eye AF is such a game changer. You can continue to shoot as your animal model does their own thing without the worry of a blurry image. All you have left to do is try to determine which cute image you’re going to use!" at Australia
Desert views courtesy of photographer @grantplace 🔥🔥 "Spending two weeks hiking through Arizona and Utah has been breathtaking. Using my Sony a7 III has allowed me to lighten my load, fit more in my pack, and enjoy myself out on the trail in the desert! These National Parks are truly special to me and I see myself going back to them for the rest of my life." | a7 III | 16-35mm f4 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Arches National Park
Here's a tip from photographer @backpackpassion for getting crisp water reflections 👉🏽 "When you want to achieve a shot like this with a nice reflection, make sure to wake up very early. Usually sunrise is the best time as there is typically no wind, which is necessary to get a shot like this." | a7 III | 16-35mm f4 | 16mm | f4 | 1/250 | ISO 100 | #SonyAlpha #BeAlpha at Durmitor National Park, Montenegro
