To say my client in this video hates kettle bells is an understatement, which is probably why I make her use them so often now I come to think of it... anyway, the kettlebell swing is a simple exercise that simultaneously torches fat, builds strength, and improves cardiovascular fitness. This is my grandfather when he was in his 80's, he literally has no business being in such good shape, but guess what there's no secret to this. He ate porridge for breakfast and a simple diet of meat and vegetables everyday with plenty of water, and he remained as active as his age would allow. Over the years, I've worked with clients who have taken the positive decision to introduce more exercise into their routine in order to clear their minds; retain focus and motivation and to increase their confidence. Exercise truly does impact on how you feel, not just physically but mentally too. I'm a real advocate of the doctrine "happy body, happy mind". When you're feeling anxious, upset, stressed or even depressed, exercise is often the last thing you feel like doing. And if you do suffer from mental health issues, some days even getting out of bed is a struggle. But exercise helps.
