LIC Building is a 15-storied building in Chennai, India, serving as the southern regional headquarters of the Life Insurance Corporation of India. It is the first skyscraper built in Chennai[4] and a famous landmark in the city. Located on the arterial Anna Salai (formerly Mount Road), the building is 177 ft tall. LIC Building was the tallest building in India when it was inaugurated in 1959[5] and was surpassed by Mumbai's first skyscraper, the Usha Kiran Building, in 1961, which is about 80 m high.[6] The building marked the transition from lime-and-brick construction to concrete columns in the region.[7] The building is known for using pile foundation technique for the first time in the region.[8] It was the tallest building in Chennai for over 35 years before being surpassed by the Hyatt Regency Building (erstwhile Magunta Oberoi) in Anna Salai and the Arihant Majestic Towers in Koyambedu, both in the mid-1990s. _______________________________________________________________ Picture by @gully_by_rajesh . . . _________________________________________________________________ Follow @streetsoftamilnaduu and Use #streetsoftamilnaduu _________________________________________________________________ #sunrays #balagraphy #Chennaiphotographer #shwetamalhotra03 #streetphotographyworldwide #indianphotography #storiesofindia #mr_dreamcatcher #artofvisuals #perspectivepixels #photographers_of_india #travelrealindia #streetclassic #streetlife_mag #karnatakaphotographers #f4fofficial #exploroshan #nustaharamkhor #MaiBhiSadakChap #photomeetchennai #streetsoftamilnaduu #ramdineshkumar_official #streetsofindia #_woi #streetphotoawards at Mount Road

Wanna enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of beach but can't decide the perfect destination? Come to Mahabalipuram (also known as Mammallapuram), an enchanting beach that is located on the east coast of India. Turned up at the distance of 58 km from Chennai, the golden sandy beach is a charming place encircled by the rolling hills and glittering sea. The beach is recognized as the pristine beaches of Tamil Nadu, which attracts thousands of tourists every year. It's an idyllic place for lazing around the vicinity and sunbathing. The bewitching Mahabalipuram beach is shored up by the Bay of Bengal along with the dreamy rock cut sculptures staggering to the eyes. There are many breathtaking attractions and places offering an ideal spot for holidaying. Mahabalipuram is mostly known for its shore temples constructed by the Pallava king Rajasimha in the early periods. With its beautiful location on a rocky outcropping between the beach and a lagoon, this beach paradise is a pleasant combination of ideal beaches, history, and peaceful tourism. Despite the many travelers, attracted by the former Pallava dynasty town, Mahabalipuram is very friendly and secluded place, where the villagers are outstandingly unflustered by their throngs of visitors. ________________________________________________________________ Picture by @blueeye.pixels _________________________________________________________________ Follow @streetsoftamilnaduu and Use #streetsoftamilnaduu _________________________________________________________________ #architecturephotography #architexture #skyscraper #archilovers #storiesofindia #passionpassport #magnumphotos #igramming_india #ig_street #india_gram #indianphotography #artofinstagram #instagram #instagood #lensculturestreet #ramdineshkumar_official #travelgram #wanderlust #naturephotography #lonelyplanet #nakedplanet #discover #natgeotravel #bbcearth #creativemagazine #incredibleindia #picoftheday #naturephotography at Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, India

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest catspecies, most recognizable for its pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. The species is classified in the genus Panthera with the lion, jaguar, leopard, and snow leopard. It is an apex predator, primarily preying on ungulatessuch as deer and bovids. It is territorial and generally a solitary but social predator, often requiring large contiguous areas of habitatthat support its prey requirements. This, coupled with the fact that it is indigenous to some of the more densely populated placeson Earth, has caused significant conflicts with humans. The tiger is among the most recognisable and popular of the world's charismatic megafauna. It featured prominently in ancient mythology and folklore and continues to be depicted in modern films and literature, appearing on many flags, coats of arms and as mascots for sporting teams. The tiger is the national animal of India, Bangladesh, Malaysia and South Korea. _______________________________________________________________ Picture by @adithya.ags _________________________________________________________________ Follow @streetsoftamilnaduu Use #streetsoftamilnaduu _________________________________________________________________ #wildlife #wildlifephotography #wildlife_perfection #tiger #storiesofindia #passionpassport #magnumphotos #igramming_india #ig_street #india_gram #indianphotography #artofinstagram #instagram #instagood #lensculturestreet #like4follow #travelgram #wanderlust #worldbestgram #lonelyplanet #nakedplanet #discover #natgeotravel #bbcearth #creativemagazine #incredibleindia #picoftheday #photooftheday at Mudumalai National Park
