Celeste and I are so excited to be doing a fall styled shoot today with two gorgeous sisters. 🌿 And we are especially excited about the gorgeous florals coming our way from the talented Katie Arani of @billieballco! ❤️

@bigdbigapple was one of the most classically elegant brides we have ever had the pleasure of photographing. 🌿💓 at Meadows Museum

One of my favorite quotes hands down. It has lifted me up so many times. #lifequotes #truth #justdoit

The Silver Supper last night was an absolute stunner... and such fun to capture! @jacksondurhamevents created such a beautiful space and the silver being celebrated was right at home on every table. 🖤 at Dallas Museum of Art

First of all, Saturday barre workout done! Thanks @happybabyyoga!!! Those of you who know me know I'm really big on things with initials, words, etc. Well one of my very favorite pieces was my tilted T necklace from Anthro. And the last time Celeste and I did a floral styled shoot I took it off and lost it by the stream behind my house… I was so upset and spent a couple different times day and night out there with a flashlight looking for it, all to no avail. Then after looking I realized that Anthropologie wasn't making them anymore. I was able to scoop up a C from what they had left but there was no T. 😟Anyway the long and short of it is that this is not by Anthro but I found it thanks to my daughter Medora on Etsy… And I'm pretty excited about it. :-) 🤗👈💕

The Silver Supper was a gorgeous feast for the eyes! And my new shoes are pretty cute... burgundy suede with little balls of fur... but sadly not comfortable after 4 and 1/2 hours of shooting. 📷🖤 #ohmyachingfeet at Dallas Museum of Art

Saying "I do" in Jimmy Choo is always a good idea. 🖤

We love our sweet couples... and we had the best time with these two! 💕📷 at Magnolia Terrace

I had so much fun photographing the lovely Jamie Singer of @crowncontroljewelry recently, and getting to play with some of her gorgeous pieces. This is a model wearing one of my favorites. 🖤

When you work for yourself as a photographer and you are out there every day making it happen and wearing all the hats 🎩 it can sometimes be scary and really overwhelming... but then I get that camera in my hands and I forget everything else and remember how much I love what I do and why being an entrepreneur is absolutely worth it all. 🖤📷

September and October have the most beautiful light for portraits... so golden and flattering... it's almost as good as a really wonderful beauty treatment or a great night's sleep. 💛📷

I got up early early this morning to get stuff done before heading to the DMA to shoot the wonderful Decorative Arts Symposium. 📷As you can see in this photo I'm not my most enthused in the mornings... but I do really like my new Rebecca Taylor dress. 👗💕 at Dallas Museum of Art

These two are such a gorgeous couple and I just loved working with their sweet family! ❤️

My heart is heavy this morning for the suffering going on in Mexico and other parts of the world. ❤️It's been such a hard 2017.

For the last several years I have had the privilege of shooting for a wonderful school called @cristoreydallas and have been documenting their story. This past week they moved into a beautiful new facility and it was such an exciting day! In case you didn't know, Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep is a coeducational, Catholic, college preparatory school and a member of the Cristo Rey Network that follows the work-study model of education. These wonderful kids earn a large portion of their tuition through working at many wonderful Dallas companies... and let me tell you these are great kids! 💛Bravo @cristoreydallas !!! at Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep

This is one of my life goals... that I make a new start on daily... taking care of my body, my heart, and my spirit… Which sometimes is an absolute uphill climb. But we only get one chance to do it, and to be there and be present in the work that we are called to do and with the people that we love… And to be the best version of ourselves that we can be. 🖤

One of my favorite things is to take images of people looking at art in museums… I really believe that art transforms and is so powerful… And the whole experience is enriching in so many ways. 🖼🎨📷 Make sure you get out to see the amazing Zurbaran exhibition that is now at the Meadows Museum… It's a must see! at Meadows Museum
