Beyond ready to stand beneath the night sky and see the Milky Way in all her glory!
This shot was the first astrophotography photo I've ever taken! It is a little noisy, but I'm happy with my first attempt's results! Last summer at Richland Creek, under a new moon... Total darkness except for a sliver of light pollution in the distance. This celestial fissure in the sky will never cease to amaze me. Looking forward to countless hours of sleep lost while staring up at this beauty! ⛺

Well guys... Thank you for all the love and birthday wishes. You guys are all awesome. And thanks for helping make the last 5 years amazing at Town Pump! Tonight is my last night and I'll miss this place and everyone that's a part of it, especially all of you that have come to get a drink from me over the past 5 years! You guys rock. Here's to the next chapter and living the life YOU choose, not one that's chosen for you! Cheers and PEACE OUT! ✌

Waterfalls are amazing, but don't forget to stop and enjoy the little things. Small cascades can be just as beautiful.

These days are so close I can taste the hot dogs and campfire s'mores already! Gonna be a great season in the natural state! 🌞 (shot on Samsung Galaxy s5)

It is starting to feel like spring! Excited for the many outdoor adventures soon! I haven't been out exploring lately, mostly because of work and coming down with bronchitis for several days... But here is a raging cascade from Burgess Falls State Park in TN. It was crazy powerful, churning mud and earth along with its overflow of water. Looking forward to chasing cascades and waterfalls in AR in the coming months!
Also, if you didn't know yet, tonight is my last karaoke shift at Town Pump, so come hang! It is bittersweet to be leaving a place I've called home for nearly 5 years, but it is time to part ways. My last day is next Friday the 16th, which ironically is also my birthday! Its been a pleasure getting all you folks hammered! Thanks for the memories. ✌

Today I am stuck in my bed, slowly dying from this terrible cold and cough, while waterfalls are raging throughout the state. You can't win 'em all! Either way, I'm thoroughly enjoying everyone's adventures thru pictures and IG stories. Living through you guys today! Wishing I was out there chasing waterfalls, but until then, here is a shot and video of Burgess Falls in Tennessee at last light. The biggest and most powerful waterfall I've ever seen in my life. Enjoy this beautiful day if you have the opportunity! If you're out exploring, I'm interested to hear where you're headed today. Let me know below! (Both photo and video taken with my Samsung Galaxy s5)

In honor of all this rain we've been getting, here is Fall Creek Falls in Tennessee. All 256ft of her. Cheers to everyone that will be chasing waterfalls this weekend. Our beautiful state will be full of them! ☔

Soooo... Are these days gone now? Is this Spring!? What is happening... Not cool with this. (Please send EmergenC packets, thanks!) #ozarks #winter #35mm at Ozark National Forest
I don't think this view can ever get old. The beautiful Nashville skyline at sunset. One of the best I've ever seen. 🌅

Views last weekend, high amongst the treetops. Forest therapy at its finest. 🌲

History is on the walls here... Deep underground, thousands of names written by torches poked against cave ceilings or carved by blade or stone, can date hundreds of years old. Pretty incredible to walk past some of these and think what it must have been like during their time.

Warm sun on my face, mist in the air, the roaring sound of waterfalls... And not a soul to be seen. The forest gave the illusion that this wasn't the South, surrounded by giant, lush evergreen trees, unaffected by winter. I enjoyed this slice of paradise in complete solitude for over an hour, letting my mind wander and refresh. After patiently waiting for the sun to crest over the ridge, I captured this photo. A memory and moment I will remember for a lonnng time.

Journey to the center of the Earth... This is the longest cave in the world. Over 400 mapped miles and more being found. It is a place that I can hardly put into words much less a picture. Rooms as big as arenas and hallways that seem to stretch to infinity. To think of the first people to step foot inside this natural wonder, only lit by torch... (The marks on the ceiling are called "scallops" and are formed from underground rivers "carving" through the earth over millennia. Yes... There are underground rivers, waterfalls, you name it down here...) If you have never been here, add it to your bucket list and go! Only an hour and a half north of Nashville.

I've never witnessed nature like this before. Two hundred and fifty-six feet of pure majesty. This is "Fall Creek Falls" the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Yesterday was nothing short of magic, and to have this place almost entirely to myself... Incredible. (I took this shot on a 20 second timer while set up on a tripod. What you can't see is how far I still am from the falls, at least 90-100ft, any closer and I would have been soaked! A human near the bottom would look about the size of one of the rocks to the left!) Safe to say I'm in love with Tennessee.

Starting to feel like this could happen again soon... Stay warm amigos! ❄

One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnessed. Gotta love Petit Jean, amazing for sunrise and sunset! No shortage of beautiful places in this amazing state. Hope everyone has an awesome weekend! 🌄

Not a bad spot for lunch on a beautiful sunny day! Or see two giant bald eagles, which was also amazing! (Taken yesterday on my Samsung Galaxy s5.) #ozarks #waterfalls #arkmophs at Richland Creek Wilderness
